You know how sometimes when you share a picture from the gallery it gets wonky? instead of the picture, you have a string of characters and a broken image?

Just copy your image URL, paste it into a URL shortener, I like bit.ly, and then copy the shortened link into the image dialog and voila!
[*image]http://bit.ly/O91peH[/image]

Wow! That just happened to me for the first time yesterday, and it drove me crazy! I ended up having to link it from another gallery with a shorter URL.

Thanks for the bump. I have also been uploading (to photobucket) then linking in a thread from there. Will give this a whirl, it sounds easier!

Yes- thanks for the bump. I am going to give it a try because I haven't been able to get it to work.

Ok- I still can't get it to work


It's ok- I upload to my blog and I can insert a photo that way. Wonder why I can't do it this way though.
