I saw one pea from Lubbock, I'm from Canyon, just a few minutes south of Amarillo. My son is going to south plains college in lubbock.
My sister is moving back to Ft. Worth in the spring. when she does I would love to come for a weekend crop, then I have a free place to stay!

Not much!! There are 38 members of my Denton cropping group, which is fantastic! There are spots available for October's crop as well!

I have been helping DH get ready for his first hunting season.
He sister's have land up in OKLA and are letting him hunt it.
We are going on the 6th to get the road through it done and set up his feeders etc.
His first hunting day is Nov 16. I hope he gets a deer - otherwise I have to go with him over Thanksgiving and I really don't want to! LOL
I have an EmbellishIT day up in Allen on Nov 16th and
Nov 8-11th I am going to a scrapbook retreat! I will miss the Funky Finds, but the retreat is needed more! LOL
LindaR - sweet on being in Hurst - I drive through there twice a day to Irving for work!

I can't wait to come and meet everyone Gabrielle!! As soon as my schedule frees up a little I'll be there! In the mean time doing a lot of scrappy things around homecoming. Made these really cute finger spirit rings. They turned out adorable. Now time to clean up my space and get back to my hertiage album. I'll get it done one of these days! |

I'm looking forward to October
Today I'm taking my little princess on a mommy daughter date while dad stays at home with little man. I have a lot of homework to complete this weekend but I really want to scrap a few layouts before bed tonight. We've already cleaned the house top to bottom and it's almost time for our little date. I'm really looking for to cropping in a few weeks, getting ready for tricks or treats, thanksgiving and then my thanksgiving weekend retreat whee at Memory Lane Inn McKinney! Now I just need to make sure that I'm caught up on homework first before I can have fun! |

I am in Houston near Medical Center/Rice U area but willing to travel around to meet up with Peas
I do host All Day Crops 1x a quarter at a church off Hwy 59/Shepard area. And try to organize Scrapbook Retreats 2x a year to go to Texas area scrap retreat places for 3 or 4 day getaways.

Hi lazorkay!
I lived in Springtown for 11 years and left just BEFORE they finally widened Hwy 199 between Springtown and Azle. My Dachshund Sugar Plum (she lived to be 16) was born in Azle, across the hwy from the police station. The house is no longer there, they were doing some work on the hwy in Azle and Donna's house was bought and they built a new house outside of town.
My DH lived in New Braunfels for about 14 years. He moved back here about 7 years ago, we've been married 5 years New Year's Eve. |

Let me tell you about 199. IT AIN'T FINISHED.

Well, I guess from Azle to Springtown it may be, but the rest between Azle and Lake worth - NOPE!!!!!
Most of 199 is, all they did was just redo the 2 lane road. IT needs to be 3 lanes. We still have to exit several times to the service road, slow down/stop for a light and then get back on. It looks like they are wanting to make bridges, but this has been going on for how many years now???? 3??? | |
