Oh wow, it looks like I have a page to catch up on! You all have been playing without me.

I sent my boys off to school this morning and I have mountains of housework to catch up on, you know? Holiday weekend and all. We had a fun weekend, went fishing and to a community event. My Montana sister is in town until she relocates to Utah. Busy-busy here. I hope to catch up and scrap with you soon!

We have new friends! Hi girls, I'm Loni, age 29. I have a sweetheart hubby and 4 kids ages 7,5,4,1. I love to read and scrap (obviously) Talk to you soon.

Okay make that 1 and a half pages, haha.

Welcome Elizabeth!

Hi Emma!

Christina-Marie, Welcome! I am so excited we are getting new friends to join in on our challenge.

Monica, I'm so bummed I didn't get to scrap with you over the weekend. Will you be scrapping at all during the week?

Rach, I use a bassinet for the first 3 or 4 months. Then the crib up to 2 years unless they climb out like C did at 18 months, haha.

Oh Dee, I'm so sorry your dad is sick again. I hope he gets better soon.

Caro, those are fun male names. I like Theo, Olivier (I said that before right?) Maxime/Max, okay, I like a lot of them. Good luck on that essay!

Lizzie, sorry about the allergies. It's so awful not being able to breathe. Send those kids to your parents! (I don't do it myself, but I can suggest it. Oh so not true though cuz my 4 yo is over playing with a cousin. I am ALONE right now. Baby is napping. Seriously this never happens! Why did I mop? I should be scrapping! )

Jen, yay for new babies! Congrats on your neice.

Happy Birth-month Lisa!! I usually celebrate all month but August was nuts for me. I guess I'll have to celebrate in Sept with you!

Rach, the icky part is almost over. The last 2 weeks are the worst for being comfortable. Sorry!

Jamie, LAME! I was 28 a couple weeks ago, haha.

Oh Caro, you had to work on the essay more? Sorry!

I have tabs up for all of the Layouts you've been posting and I'm wondering how many my window can hold. I can't wait to see them.

BUT! I need to get back to cleaning house.

Elizabeth. Good for you working out! How do you like insanity? We bought it but haven't used it yet. (My sister borrowed it and we were doing P90X)

Hey Lizzie, maybe I'll join you. Are you feeling better?

I just uploaded the pics I took of my boys when I dropped them off at school today. Looks like I'll be doing the scrapping a blurry photo soon. I took it holding a wiggly baby. *shrug*

Hi girls,

I'm finally back Sadly my dad is still in the hospital.. They can't seem to localize where the bleeding is Thanks for all the sweet comments about my dad! Really makes me feel better!

Meanwhile work is quite stressfull as well, so I'm quite exhausted. Spent 12 hours at work today so I'll be off to bed soon, but first some catching up

To all new girls: I'm Dee, 26, live in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) with my fiancé! Love to scrap (but, of course *insert french accent*) and chat with the girls here

@ Caroline: saw some pics of your minibreak on instagram! looked great! Glad you had a good time with your boy! Know how it feels to have a busy man mine finished his study not too long ago and furthermore he travels a lot for work (which is great for him, but not so much for me) And great news on becoming a teacher as well! What is it you do at the moment?

@ RachH: glad to hear (read) everything is settled with the house and in time for the baby to come as well! Love that you made a mobile yourself! And you're officially on maternity leave now right?

@ Loni: happy belated birthday! Saw some pics on instagram

@ Christina: love your LO's (smile it's summer and 2012) The pics are so much fun as well! Back to school tomorrow right? Sounds like you have quite a heavy curriculum! Love the other three LO's you made as well!(i discovered them later)

@ MOnica: yay for the Iphone! And now we're IG-friends! Love your 'go your own way'LO! great pic as well!

@ Melissa: loved your blog on the Iphone covers! Supercute!

@ Caro: thanks for your sweet comments on my blog!! When do you need to go back to uni? And which courses will you be doing?

@ All girls: you guys are so good with the layout challenge! Would love to participate, but I know I won't be able to keep up! Have a hard time making 1 (!) layout per month as it is This may improve in 2013 when I quit PL But, can't wait to see what you girls come up with

So.. that was quite a lot! I'm off folding some laundry now and then... Of to bed!!

Have a great day!

Dee: hope your father gets some good news soon. You guys have certainly been through enough already.
I wish I could keep up with PL. I had planned on starting in July, but things were so unsettled. I love seeing you PL photos and work! Do you work on the album on a specific day?
Yes, I am on maternity leave already. I physically couldn't handle another work week (I drive a lot and the heat is still bad right now).

I have another 2 hours to kill before Ry gets off work. His work days are 10:30-7:30 right now which make my days home alone even longer!!!

Anyone around?

Hi Rachel!
I'm here for a minute. About to go get the boys off the bus.
What are you doing?

Dee, sorry about your dad, again. I really hope he gets better soon. Yes, do tell us all about your PL strategy! I want to start soon, but I might wait for 2013.

@Elizabeth : me too I am bookmarking so much... You are homeschooling your children ? how old are they? is it hard ?

@Rachel : Nice LO ! I left a comment ! Due Date -4 !! I am so excited for you !!!!! Did you had a chance to do everything you wanted before baby's arrival ?

@Loni : congrats on catching up !! good job That essay sucks... thursday is going the next day I am working on it. Did you posted any new LO ?? I have to go and see in your gallery

@Lizzie : Hello, how are your challenges going ?

@Dee : well done you too for catching up !! I start uni next monday, the 10th to do the PGCE (1 year to become a teacher, french and spanish). Why are you going to stop PL for 2013 ? It is too demanding ?
I think that I will do something like PL but for my wedding organisation ! (everything wedding related would be in it) but I have LODS of time before that !!

now I am waiting for bf to come back (he ate dinner with me but went back to his place to sort some things) I have planned a bit our day at the OLYMPIC PARK tomorrow and at 5.30pm we have tickets for SWIMMING with a lot of finals !!!! finals = excitement = medals !!

@Rach: I dont know about for Loni, but here school has just started too. It was so depressing when all the blogs etc were talking about the end of summer/back to school, and mine felt like it was just starting! I am at a uni which seems to start and end a couple of weeks later than others too, so im not back to lectures until 1st oct

Caro: My before I get married and have babies list has mostly been crossed off, but there are a few things I wish I had had the courage to do...
I have traveled, but not nearly as much as I wanted to. I have been to Mexico, France, Germany, and Bolivia. I love traveling, but hate to fly. I wish I had lived abroad for a while when I was younger. I also wanted to live in NYC for a year and try to work as a dancer/actress. I didn't have the courage...and probably not enough talent.
I finished my Master's degree which is as far as I want to go for now education wise. I may eventually go back for a PhD or another career someday.

Anyone else want to share their life goals??

I am going to be really talkative until baby arrives- there is only so much unpacking/cleaning I can take!!

Newbies... I'm Melissa, 22 and live in Vancouver, Canada. I am a nanny and work with special needs children (specialize in autism). My bf name is Jonny and dogs name is Milo. Welcome

Lisa, "Irish people in general are normally crazy. In a good way though, not in the psycho killer kind of way." OMG Jonnys new roommate is from Ireland on a work visa. do I need to be worried lol!

Caro, thanks for sharing your LOs. Good work!

The farm was great. His family friends (parents friends) drove up to the farm Sun and joined us for dinner. Yesterday we stained the deck and gardened. Tonight were going to practice our Spanish and attend our friends Spanish class to support her.

Rach, good you got a bunch of your life goals done before baby, you won't have as much time to get them done after baby is born. My life goals are pretty crazy, I'll need a lawyers salary for a bunch of them. Someday I want to live on an acreage or like an old style tudor house with a library where I can just sit and read (hopefully the library is in a turret). I want a puppy finally and have a treehouse in the backyard that I helped build. I want to travel before I have kids, with no set destination in mind, just go wherever the wind takes me. I want to learn how to do a handstand. And I want to make one person happy every single day.

I like this! anyone else want to share some dreams/goals?

Hey ladies I missed out on so much chatting and scrapping today. Feeling a little under the weather and not helping that my DD is still throwing up. Spoke with another friend and she informed me that her DD and our friends 2 kids were throwing up all weekend. Hoping I can get some food in her since she ate nothing without throwing up.

I homeschool my girlsLailani: 2 and Glorianna:4(turns 5 on the 18th) and we do pre-k. It's going good and we honestly started homeschool since she was about 2 and she does really good. I love that my 2 y/o can sit at the table and pretty much answer the same questions and learn with the 4.5 y/o. She is a smarty.

I have only a few life goals but I would love to get back into ballet and open a dance studio. I would also love to start a blog about traveling and travel the world writing about my journeys.

I have a love hate relationship with insanity. I just started and my chest was hurting so bad from the intense drills. Look forward to pushing through. I have p90x an got 2 months done and m schedule got crazy and I am now a p90x drop-out. Love both programs though.
I just got an email about free prints so I am off to upload photos I took at the park and order. Hopefully I am feeling better tomorrow and can join back in. Night ladies!

whoa buddy, I've missed a lot today!

Jen- You crochet?! I so wish I would have learned crocheting. I knit, but it takes me forever. I recently tried to teach myself to crochet, but now that I am used to knitting, I totally didn't get the finger stance for crocheting. It confused me! So I gave up.

Caro- Did you get all enrolled? Seems like you have gotten a lot of layouts done - I keep seeing them on Instagram

Elizabeth- I was checking out the gallery earlier and found a lot of great layouts, too. My problem is I get overwhelmed by all the inspiration!

Loni- Glad you guys had a fun weekend Boo to the housework, though. I'll be scrapping throughout the week... definitely tomorrow and maybe Thursday. Not Friday, though.

Dee- That really stinks that they can't figure things out with your dad. That is so frustrating I'm keeping him in my thoughts.

Rachel- Wow, that is a long work day for Ryan. And a lot of time alone for you... How are things going around the house? There must be only so much you can do by yourself, though. OMG, I'm totally with you on the school thing! I love school. Except, like Loni said, I could do without the homework.

Lizzie- The thread isn't normally this chatty! Don't worry about keeping up with everyone... just jump in where you can!

Ironically, on the "goals" list for 30 Days of Lists, I changed it to my life goals. I just wasn't feeling the "goals for the month" prompt, because I want my mini to be more of a broad "about me." Anyway, I'll share it with you tomorrow!

Lizzie: things haven't been this busy around this thread for a long time!! It is very exciting, but can feel overwhelming. When I am on my computer I have the thread in one tab and reply in the other, that way I can respond to everyone at once!
Can't wait to see your layouts!!

Monica: do you remember when we were always at a page a day?
I had Ryan move some heavy things today so that I can unpack them easier tomorrow.

Midwife at 8:45 and then home for unpacking/cleaning. A friend is going to stop by around lunch before she heads to China for business.

I think after that I may scrap a bit and then unpack more.

Aww Rachel, that stinks You need Mr. Sandman.

I started reading To Kill a Mockingbird tonight. I had read it in like 9th grade but forgot most of it. I need to read more of the classics!

I also sorted through my picture order from Mpix & am very happy with how they turned out! A bit pricey but worth it.

Bucket List, I've considered visiting all the Nat'l Parks like Jen said, That seems to be where we plan all our family vacations. I want to go to the Olympics. I have been 2 hrs away twice and not gone. So when I am rich I will have to travel far and go I guess because what are the chances of them being 2 hrs away again? (both were winter games, SLC and Vancouver) I want to go to an Ellen show - preferably one of her baby showers she did one in 2008 and it was awesome. BUT I haven't had TV since then, does she still have a show? I'll have to think about it some more and make a list. List, haha - maybe that will be one of our prompts for the list class. I'll add it in as extra if not.

Elizabeth, the pukies are the worst (and messy!) I think. I hope she gets better soon! Free prints? I'm doing the snapfish 99 that's going on now. Where do you order your prints?

Lizzie, just remember the parents love it. I feel guilty even with my own parents. I think my MIL would like to see the kids more, but I need to tell her to ask so I know not to feel bad. I used to share it evenly when I asked for a babysitter I'd take turns, but now its just so much easier to take them next door!

Monica, I NEED to scrap! I still haven't done anything. Just prep stuff. Today I WILL!! I must!

Rachel, I wish you were more comfortable so you could sleep, sorry

Dee, how is your dad today?

Monica, I love hearing about what you are reading! I am reading like 4 books right now. I need to focus on one! haha One of them is an Audio book called Snoop and it's about finding out personalities by snooping and a little quiz told me I'm neurotic. I was like WHAT!! I'm not neurotic - Oh, I guess I am. Cuz that would be a neurotic's reaction right? LOL

Lon: I just ordered from shutterfly. I keep the account so I get their deals when they have them like free prints and photobooks. I am always looking for deals and with the amount of pictures I take I need printing deals often. You better get your butt in gear and scrap.

Rachel: it will get better and before you know it you will still be losing sleep. haha. That too passes and you'll get sleep soon. I am sure your family will be itching to help you out in any way and if I were you I would take it.

I am moving and doing a lot today. I just cleaned my catch all closet. I made my first youtube video of a RAK which I still need to upload. And now I am cleaning my bedroom which requires me to find storage for clothes that are over flowing. Craigslist I plan on uploading my layouts finish working on some kits I am making. Hoping that will help me get some more pages done. I hope to finish praising later on tonight. Loving all the projects I've seen thus far and it's inspiring me so much so thanks ladies and keep them coming.

Good morning!!!
I had a bad night... woke up at 5am with bad stomach cramps. I'm afraid my ulcer has come back I need to go get medicine at the pharmacy today. Hopefully there will be no more nights like that, though.

I am feeling better now, but going to take it easy today. Which means SCRAPPING! Let's have a scrap party on the thread

Rachel- Hoping Baby decides he's ready to come soon

Loni- Wow, that's crazy you were so close to the Olympics and didn't get to go! Traveling is definitely high up on my bucket list. No tv?! I couldn't live completely without tv. But, yes, Ellen still has her show! I love Ellen... and I try to watch her show most of the time!

Books... I just started To Kill a Mockingbird last night. I love it so far. I need to read more of the classics! I finished The Secret to Everything by Barbara O'Neal the other night. I liked it - quick read and lots of mysteries throughout! LOL @ the Snoop book. I am definitely a little neurotic

Elizabeth- Sounds like a full list of things to do today! I have never done a Youtube video, but I see that the "haul" videos are becoming more & more popular. I think it's kinda funny... a video just to show what you bought?

Monica: I hope you get to feeling better soon. Yes this is the first video. I received a RAK from Japan and I told her I would make a video showing this really cool album she made. Yeah the haul videos are a hoot. I watch and all I can think about is how much money they spent. I love seeing some on products I am on the fence about.

Yes scrap party sounds fun. I am almost done with my room and then I have lunch to prepare. I hope my kiddos take a nap and I can join in the fun.

Loni: I am right there with you. I have no TV service and haven't had any for about 5 years. When I was young my parents canceled the service and my brother and I thought it was the end of the world. But honestly it got us doing other things like riding bikes, exploring, and other fun things instead of watching TV. My kids don't even really care because we have DVD's and most of the time they are playing in there room or outside. Hubby and I sub to Netflix for those shows we love, but I do miss watching sports.

I'm getting ready to start scrapping! I went up to Walgreens to get medicine, and I feel better already.

Elizabeth- I hope I didn't sound like I was dissing your video! I just always think the same thing - how much money people spend on all that stuff! I do like the videos like 2Peas does when new products are coming out. It makes it easier to shop online when you see a better view of the product.

I've hardly had any TV in the last 10 years. We did get 3 channels in the summer of 08 and we enjoyed the olympics. We have netflix and watch shows on hulu sometimes but since we moved Baby G into her own room and the computer into my laundry room there is no room for the couch in front of the computer. LOL so we haven't watched biggest loser since. Our internet is too slow to stream through the TV. Or something - I don't know why it doesn't work.

Elizabeth, I bet shutterfly has the best quality. I've gotten coupons but have never signed on. Maybe I will. I rarely order prints though, I prefer to print at home. I struggled to come up with 99 for this order!

Monica, I'm scrapping! I took a photo for you that I will instagram in a minute. and I bound some pages for my 30 lists mini album. I used scraps I already had so I'm going to have to change my list format to something skinnier.

Rachel, how was your appointment? Making any progress?

I like this! anyone else want to share some dreams/goals?

Christina, I want to travel as much as I can! Also, I have a list of places I want to scuba dive before I die or the corals get destroyed (ex. great barrier reef). I want to bungee jump and sky dive before I', 25 (3 years left). With every travel, I hope I am able to help some child with special needs and advocate in different countries.

A friend stopped by to visit today and it was nice!

I spend all of my work day with people and it feels so weird to not see other humans all day long!

Monica: Girl don't even worry. No offense taken. I

Melissa(?): you have such a huge heart. Wish we had more of you in the world. Hope one day you are able to achieve your dreams.

Well I just got done prepping party favor bags. Super cute bc all the girls bags has crayola nail polish in it. Only thing left is decorate the bag. Another day.

So the little one is napping and the oldest is resting I might attempt a spread.

Hi girls!

How is this day going so far? Mine was quite ok! My fiancé was babysitting our nephew today, so went to work a bit later And we had lunch together.. so much fun! This little guy brightens my day just being near And now just having a quiet night and will hop into bed early But first some chatting Was in doubt about getting my scrapsupplies out, but it takes ages to get them all out and then the time I have to scrap is limited and really need to clean it all up afterwards So no scrappy time tonight.. But.. as said: chatty time

Oh and some great news.. My dad was allowed to go home today.. They weren't able to detect the location the bleeding started, but they were able to see that it has stopped, so they will monitor him from home now, but at least he's able to sleep in his own bed

@ Rach (and Loni): I don't really have a strategy when it comes to PL... Or scrapping in general for that matter.. I just scrap when I have the time to.. Which is definately not once a week.. wish I could! So I'll just scrap whenever I can.. Which results in me being 15 weeks behind on PL, but that's alright.. I'm still taking pics and journaling anyways

@ Caro: PL is really time consuming and as my scrappy time is limited as it is I barely have any time to scrap regular layouts and I think that's a shame. Plus I think it's a fun peak into our love right now and would like to do it again when things have changed a bit, like when we just got married or (hopefully) having our first baby in a few years.. just to see the difference

Saw some great olympic pics at Instagram today! So great!!

@ Christina: Your new avatar is so supercute & fun!

@ Monica: Ugh! That's bad! Hope you feel better real soon!

Gee.. some heavy questions there.. life goals and stuff.. Can;'t even figure out my goals for this week or month or year Would love to travel some more.. Which is hard because my job doesn't really let me.. And money is an issue as well, because we're suppose to save money for our wedding. But then again now is the time to travel, because we don't have kids yet.. Dilemma dilemma

Would love to get my life settled in a sense that I would have more time to do what makes me happy, to spend time with the ones I love, to travel and to have more scrappy time basically

If you didn't see them on Instagram, I posted my 30 Lists cover & first 3 lists on my blog:
30 Lists

Melissa- Those are great goals! I agree, you are a sweet person to want to help people everywhere you go I hope you are able to achieve all of yours goals one day!

Rach- Yay for tv and internet tomorrow! I'm sure that will make a huge difference, even just having background noise. Sweet of your friend to stop by!

Elizabeth- Crayola nail polish huh? It is washable? LOL!

Dee- So happy that your dad gets to go home! That can make such a difference sometimes, just being home. Sending him more well wishes. I'm with you, I would love to get my life more "settled" - finish school, start a career, get my own house, etc.

Lizzie- You crack me up! A lot of parents pick up their 1st graders... you're not alone I student taught in a 1st grade class. I agree that 2Peas need an Android app - I didn't realize how much I was missing until I got my iphone!

Monica: Lol no it's heavy duty polish. Who remembers the kid polish that peeled off? Loved that stuff and they don't make it anymore. it's a painting party so all the girls got polish and for boys I just put in paper pads with super heros. Super excited for this party. It's her very first big one and her last until 10. Surprised her dad let us go crazy with planning.

I just got the girls down for bed, had the best salad for dinner with all the rainbow toppings, got a clean room and about to create my scrap lift layout. Hope to post it tomorrow.

Yay for some downtime, Elizabeth! By painting party, do you mean at one of those paint-your-own-pottery places? I love doing that! But it can get pretty pricey. I remember the nail polish that peeled off! I used to love that stuff, too.

okay, I'm thinking eat dinner & then start a layout.

Hey, I'm going to scrap after hubby goes to scouts if I can get baby G distracted!

Cool goals Melissa, sorta. I'm afraid of heights so bungee jumping and sky diving aren't my idea of fun.

Lizzie, I waited for half an hour for my kids at the end of the driveway. The first week is always all over the place. The schedule says 3:45 but they weren't there until 4:10.
