Just popping in to say hey and see how school is going for you. I've had two big papers due in the last two weeks. I turned the second one in last night so I'm getting ready to work on swaps! I'm a nerd and love school but it's seriously messing with my swap time! What are these professors thinking???!!  |

Hi April! Blech...it is midterm time! Paper due tomorrow and a big Biology Anatomy exam tomorrow too (YUCK! I see dead people....)
I am also in the middle of a big house remodel that has to be finished by December 31 in order to get 25% state tax credits...oh yeah, and I am homeschooling my daughter too! LOL!!!  Its crazy around here...while your passing that bottle around, send it down to Louisiana, wontcha???  |

Also, I have to admit, I am a nerd too...I LOVE school! Good thing, cause I got two more years to go on my Masters....sigh...
What are you in school for? I am finishing a B.S. in Psychology, then on to Masters in Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. A mouthful,huh?
Swaps are the only thing that keep me going! |

Andrea, I'm getting my Masters in English. I will also be able to teach Sociology and Psychology. I only need like five more classes and then I'm off to get my PhD.
Wouldn't it be fun if we could take classes together?! We'd be kicked out in the first 3 minutes!! |

LOL April! I usually irritate my teachers and I don't mean to. I am very literal and so sometimes their assignments do not make any sense to me. Once, inadvertently, someone was fired because of my complaint...lawd! I know they probably have my name written down somewhere as DANGER! haha I start my Masters next year and hope to get a PhD at some point down the road.

I often wanted to continue on for my Masters but my last neuro procedure halted it, maybe next year.
I am so happy that I found a box of vintage lace and buttons and trinkets I collected from the Pasadena flea market which if anyone is familiar with is awesome! Any how they've been packed away in my garage for over a year and it's perfect timing for me to decorate my tags, love it! |

Oooh Jeanette! How awesome! There is an LSS an hour away who goes to flea markets and she sells doo-dads and vintage lace. I love it! I found a jar of misc. jewelry and buttons last week. I love stuff like that. |

Just finished my vintage.....and I was able to use some leftovers of really soft specialty paper from a class at Paper Source! I love their paper. Now onto my modern tags... |

I just bought a tree punch this past Saturday to do a 3D tree on one of my tags. I don't think we are in all of the same groups though so if my idea works out I will make sure they end up in a different group. Hope that's ok. | |

You can mail it however you want, no big deal. However, I suggest to anyone mailing close to the deadline, to send it the most expedient way as possible. Right now we are still two weeks out, so first class is fine! |
