Liza, thank you so very much for choosing my photo

For this month I wanted to choose something I am having a difficult time with, getting siblings to pose together. I cannot for the life of me get a shot with all 3 of my grandchildren together, 2 of them are siblings, and I can't even get a decent shot with both of them. The joys of a 3 yr old and 2 boys less than 2.

Post a photo of siblings, it doesn't have to be children, it can be your own siblings and because I love B&W, make it B&W.

Here's the Rules:
1. Post your photo to this thread by Sept 30th, 2012.

2. Indicate in your post if you want CC or not. If you do want CC, to keep the thread from becoming unmanageable - in case a lot of people play - Please put a link to where the photo can be found and comments can be made in addition to including your photo in this thread. You can use a blog here on 2 peas, your own personal blog, another thread, your choice. But you want people to be able to come here and click to give you cc. Also, if you are asking for CC, be sure to include information like your settings, whether you shot raw, and an SOOC photo and maybe even a pull-back so we can understand your set-up. If you don't want CC, just your photo for us to look at is great.

3. In this thread you can comment on photos, but not cc - don't want to curtail your "Wow" and ooohing and ahhing for each other. Might even get a "how'd you do that" from time to time, which is great because the point is to learn and improve.

4. Please take the time to give CC to those who want it, and respect the wishes of those who are not ready for that, or who just are passing on it this time.

5. On Oct. 1 (or close there to if life gets a hold of me and knocks me down) I will post a "winner" along with a pea mail to the winner. That person needs to post the theme for Oct. by the 5th and pick a winner for the month and then that winner will do Nov. Hope that is clear, but it can be perpetual for as long as people are interested in doing this challenge.

6. Only restriction on future assignments is it has to be something everyone can do without regard to lighting equipment. So no assignments calling for a particular lighting effect that requires some special equipment. Us natural lighting folks want to be able to play without investing money when it isn't in the budget.

7. You can play any time you want, skip a month - unless it was your month to pick a theme - jump in and out, whatever. Point is to have fun and to have a reason to get your camera out and work on those portrait skills.

I have chosen Jeune Girl as this months winner.

Same set of siblings. I agree, sibling photos can be difficult. I had alot of fun with these 3 (and they are gorgeous which always helps)

Liza, I love how you can see how much care the older girl is taking with the baby, so sweet.

Meg, these shots are just gorgeous, maybe when my grands get a little older, I can get shots of them like this.

Jen, I liked your shots to much, I didn't have the heart to say anything.

Great work ladies, keep em coming!

Oh I struggle with this too! My kiddos are 6, 4, and 2. It's so hard to get them all to be happy at once! /giggle

Yes Lori I love the way this sister loved her baby brother.

I love the candid of the kids. I have not been able to get good ones of mine so I end up doing sets of three or more and hope that in at lest one shows the face of each so that only 2 might be looking but the third is in other photos. Mine are 5,7 & 9 we have done a lot of the three walking down the road or something that they are not posed as much as they are active. The 5yr is a boy and really will not sit for photos any more.

OH my daughter has been wanting to recreate a pic from when her & my son were babies. I'll have to ask her more about it. Otherwise, my brother is coming for the weekend. I love the pics so far!.3

Love the idea of recreating an old photo, I hope you get to try it and I can't wait to see the results.

Sorry, I'd love to play, but my kids are in their twenties and thirties and living their lives in all different directions, and my only remaining sibling lives in a different city from me, so just not going to work for me this month.

I love the shots already posted this month and I like seeing the black and white photos too.

I wish we would have gotten more entries, I guess siblings are a challenge for all of us.

I love something about all the entries, but I have to choose Meg (Jeune Girl)as this months winner!
