Hi Becky, how did your Thanksgiving go? Did they serve real turkey or "pressed" turkey? I bet you will enjoy the leftover turkey sandwiches! Did you do any black friday shopping? I tried to order a few things online for my daughter and as I was continuing to shop some of the items must have sold out because my shopping cart was getting smaller instead of bigger! It was so frustrating that I didn't get anything and I'll just go to the store next week. Any special plans for the weekend? We are probably decorating the outside of the house on Sunday. Whatever you do this weekend I hope it is something fun! Talk to your later. | |

I think it was a cross between the real stuff and pressed...LOL It was ok, I had a small piece and a tiny (1/8c maybe) of smashed potatoes and a little piece of pie. I did pretty good huh? I will definitely enjoy a turkey sandwich or two this weekend.
We have no plans this weekend that I know of. I will try to get my decorations up next week when I don't have a grandbaby in the house, because I know I won't be able to get them up with any of them here...LOL Don is responsible for putting up lights outside so who knows when they will get up.
I just did a little online shopping. Bought all the guys electric razors. Ooooh... lol Walmart.com had an awesome deal on them so they will go nicely in their stockings. I have got a few items already and have a few more things to get but mostly need stocking stuffers. I think I spend more money on them anyways. I'm making all the kids a card that says "when you don't believe in Santa, you get socks and underwear." I'm putting socks and underwear in their box and will hide their cash somewhere inside the socks...LOL

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got some shopping in. My Thanksgiving was very nice. We had lunch with my family and dinner with my husbands family. It's hard eating so much in one day, but I handle it pretty good LOL.
Are you getting any decorating done this weekend? I will put my tree up between now and next weekend. I've got some rearranging to do in my living room to put the tree in front of the window. Hopefully, I can get my husband to do the outside tomorrow. Putting the outside lights up is not one of his favorite things to do
I am almost finished with your goodies and will have them in the mail next week. I will let you know when it goes postal.

Oh my goodness Perla, you sent me so many goodies!! Thank you so much! There is too much to name it all so I added pics, she gave me: alphas, flowers, glitter, ink pads, paper, baker's twine, metal embellishments, stamps, a punch that makes a flower, and washi tape. I'm going to definitely have to start using alphas!! I've never had transparancies before. I don't have any of the flower punches, so I can't wait to try it out. I really like everything you picked out for me. Thank you so much! Hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!!!

YaY! I still did some shopping for my SS! Black Friday shopping. I hope I make the deadline! Did you do any Cyber Monday or Black Friday shopping? I can see why you asked me if I had a wishlist. It's like a scavenger hunt searching for scrapbooking supplies. My family finally left. While we were in line at Star Tours/Disneyland, a lady in our line was holding one of those Donna Downy copycat dirty bird pole dance purses! I just stood there laughing, staring at it. Sometimes trying to explain pea lore to non-peas is fruitless.  |

Hello April,
I hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving. I think I will have leftovers for a week. How about you? Did you go shopping on Black Friday? I had to work, but I did go to Walmart after. That was it for the weekend though. Spend most of it decorating the outside and inside of the house. I am sitting now looking at my christmas tree. I can't wait till you see your ornament, tease tease. I will be mailing it Very soon. Today I had to wait around after work for a drain cleaner to come out, the basement was starting to back up. Yuck, all fixed, tree roots, and cleaned now. Always something, but my grandson sure had fun watching them work.

I am happy to say that my Christmas shopping is complete! I finished it all this weekend. I'm so excited!! I can't wait to see my goodies! You have me very intrigued about my ornament!

Hi ladies! Just checking in. There was a layer of ice on my windshield today - it's getting COLD outside. Everyone in our neighborhood is decorating the outside of their homes, and the lights look so pretty. Haven't started decorating yet, simply cause I do have much to decorate with (just moved into our home earlier this year and waiting for stuff to go on sale). Has anybody started decorating yet?

Hey everyone! Just checking in. SO excited I will be finishing up my SS's goodies tonight! Hopefully I will get it in the mail by Thursday. It's actually a little cool here in Texas tonight, but of course, we'll be back to the '80's by weeks end! Just love this weather - I still get to wear my flip flops in December - ha! It sounds like you have a very busy December!! I did do some BF shopping. We got Payton the Leapster 2 princess bundle & I picked up a Nook for my mom. I didn't see anything that sparked my interest on Cyber Monday this year. The weather is supposed to be really cold & rainy this weekend so I'm hoping I can sneak some crafting time in.

Hi Sparklepea! Yes it got very hectic for a while! I want to have time to prep for december daily and catch up on my scrapbooking and it seems like there is something to do everyday! I can't wait for my daughter to be on vacation again.. :/

Thanks ss's, I am *much* better now. My son also got a very mild case - all from Trader Joe's peanut butter. I remember the recall and our shelves were almost bare but there was a few selections left when we purchased ours, gosh 2 months ago maybe, and I was reassured this type wasn't recalled and just recently opened it, used it and regretted it after the fact. The store will be taking back our jar when I stop by there today as I am more mobile today.
Looks like packages are going out and I will forward all dc's I receive to their respective partner with the SS's name still hidden. It's a surprise until you receive your gift! | |

Hi Mrs. Santa - so, did you get your tree up? I have started decorating but have a long way to go!! I think we will cut our tree down this weekend and get that decorated. I always have a party the first Thursday in December so I have something to motivate me. As I am rushing to get things done I always wonder why I do it to myself!!
Thanksgiving was nice. We always go on a shopping trip with my family the weekend after - add to the craziness at the stores. I did accomplish some things so that was good. Did you black Friday shop? I am probably 2/3 done with my shopping - now to start wrapping. How is your shopping coming?
I am in a cookie exchange next weekend so that will be my next project. Then the weekend after that I am doing our annual Christmas party for my son and his little friends. I will have to get on Pinterest and find some crafts for 5 year olds. We always decorate cookies but I like to have 2 or 3 other things for them to do.
