Yay! So excited to get underway with a new swap! I am newer to the boards but I have bought and sold as well as participated in a few swaps. I do have a puppy. She about 1 and a half. Her name is Coca like Coca Cola. Shes a German shepherd lab mix so shes sort of a big girl. Do you have a furbaby? No kids. A fiance tho and hes a big kid.
I love all sorts of movies. Mostly the chick flicks but I'll watch just about anything. Nice to meet you. Hope to learn more about you along the way!

Hi LetItSnow2012-glad to meet you!! Anything works for me, message board, e-mail or peamail. What's the easiest for you? I like clear stamps because they are easier to store, but I also buy wood block stamps, so either is ok. We don't have any pets, how about you? I have a TwoPeas wishlist but I need to update it, I used it for my last secret sister swap. I hope to get it updated this weekend. I like resin flowers(like Webster's Pages), or silk prima like flowers. I also like Prima looking frames, charms, and Webster's Pages resin shapes too.
We do put out a Christmas village made up of Dept 56, Lemax and St. Nicholas Square(Kohl's) houses. I like to put out a lot of holiday decorations inside and outside on our porch and outside lights. Last year we changed the ornaments on our big tree to be vintage themed and we need more ornaments for it. We put up small themed trees too, plus our big one. In our den it's nautical so I have a tree with lighthouse ornanaments, our kitchen is wine and chef themed so I put a wine ornament tree in the pass-through and in our bedroom we have ice blue ornaments on it. I guess when I think of Christmas I always think of trees so I like decorating with them.
How do you like to decorate for Christmas?

We have *finally* hit cooler weather ourselves, our late Indian Summer is over! Thank God as those 105 days last week were driving me mad I tell ya!
I'm thrilled for 80's this week, personally low 80's are perfect as I am a hot weather gal just not Hades hot.

Hi, sorry to be responding so late, I never even thought to check the thread last week. But, in response to your question, I'm an advanced beginner level knitter, and I mostly make smaller projects that I can complete fairly quickly. Scarves, hats, fingerless mitts, bags, and small felted items. I prefer to work with worsted to bulky weight yarns, but have made a few projects with sport weight too. I don't have a fiber preference. I usually stick with basic wool or wool blends for knitting, but have used cotton, rayon and bamboo too. And some random novelty yarns here and there for very simple things like scarves where I don't have to try and keep track of my work so closely.

Hi Sparklepea aka Pearlyjinglepea! I laughed out loud when I saw your name! That is very creative I'm very excited to participate on my very first Xmas swap! And excited to get to know you! Well let's see I just subscribed to Studio Calico 3 months ago and have some pages done but have not gotten any binders yet. I'm fairly new at scrapping.. my first love was card making and mini albums. But so far, I love scrapbooking. It forces me to take better pictures and document everyday life. I also have not bought any Xmas collection yet, but looking forward to the December Daily kit from SC. I still got to see what lines coordinate with it

I am excited to get to know you, and believe it or not I have already picked up a couple of things for you. I noticed you put down Tim Holtz distress inks couple of times, what colors do you want, or already have?
I see you have a sweet tooth, so do I. Are there any particular stamp sets or punches you are fancying? Do you prefer acrylic or wood stamps? Do you have any of the Tim Holtz distress markers? Are there any Christmas papers you are interested in?
How is the weather in Arkansas, it is cold here, will be in 30's tonight. Had to break down and turn on the furnace a few days ago. House got too cold at night and day not warm enough to get it back up and comfortable. Yuck.

Hi ladies! I discovered an easier way to make a secret ID. If you were in one of these swaps previously (like the Halloween swap) just log in under the name you used for that one. Then go to my account and you able to edit the user name! This way you won't end up with a million accounts and you can easily change you name for each swap. Hope that helps!

It's so nice to meet you!! I do not own any distress markers. I should have put that on my list! The only distress stains I have right now are peeled paint and broken china. I have fallen in love with The Greeting Farm stamps. I don't have any at this time. 
I love all stamps...wood or clear. I also need colored embossing powders. All colors! I forgot to add that too.
I have two wonderful kids. One daughter who is 13 and a 3 year old son.
I am working on my Masters in English. I have a paper due tomorrow! Yuck!
The weather is getting colder here. Boy that's a nice change.
