Hi Tracyarts, your knitting projects sound like a lot of fun. I also like to knit but haven't done very much in the past few years. I enjoy watching the football games in the winter with some small project in my hands but seem to enjoy escaping to my room to scrap better HA. I love Christmas and it is my favorite time of year. I love it especially because it seems like people treat each other better during the holidays (except maybe in toy stores where I have heard people fight over whatever the special toy is for the season). That seems crazy to me. I am looking forward to getting to go to some scrapbook stores to start on your shopping but waiting until they get some more holiday lines in. I also can't wait until the stores start putting out more ornaments and decorations. We have a lot in common with our color schemes so I may be doing a BOGO (buy one for you and get one for me)HA. Hope you had a good weekend and maybe even Columbus Day off? It's always nice to have an extra long weekend. Take care and talk to you soon. Have a good week! | |

We had two lovely days of cooler weather but we're back up in the 90s for the rest of the week - yikes! Nothing like getting us excited for fall and then socking the summer temperatures back at us.
I've got my fall decorating done... but already dreaming of the holidays thanks to our swap.

Hi SecretElf!! Oh yes... those are my amazing granddaughters who truly brought a whole new sparkle into our lives! Teagan is 19mo, Addison is almost 15mo and Hailee just turned 7mo. I wish I could get them all together for another picture for Christmas, but Addie lives about 5 hrs from here and doesn't get to visit very often. I just babysat Hailee today and she is just so dang cute! I love how she just makes cute noises all the time and her smile just lights up a room! Teagan is a complete joy and we have so much fun with her. Luckily we still look young enough that people think she is our daughter! LOL We are actually trying to make arrangements to go see Addie this weekend!!
Nope, I didn't do ANY scrapping last weekend as I worked. I wouldn't even have had time to browse a magazine we were so dang busy. I swear I should've lost 10# just from all the running I did.
I don't think I have a wishlist on 2peas, but I will try to make some time to start one. I know there are tons of things I would love to have! The only thing I probably need to add (or should I say delete) from my survey is that my hubby and I started a diet on the 1st so if you choose to get candy or sweet treats, if they can be like tiny in size (or none at all) that would be super! I don't need any more temptation! I do love suger-free gum (Mentos (peppermint or spearmint)is my very fave and chew it all the time!!!) so that would be an idea

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I just love it!
I have a daughter that will be 13 on the 30th (my mischief baby) and a very active 3 yr old boy. They keep me busy! Christmas will be fun with my little guy this year, he really knows whats going on with holidays now.
Inks- I could use more memento inks or a new versamark pad. As far as contacting me, Im good at checking the board, peamail
Takes me a little longer because Im on my phone all the time and the app doesnt show when you have mail. If you send me a peamail, you could post here for me to check it

Good morning Mrs. Santa - I totally agree with starting the week on a Wedenesday (especially since I don't work on Fridays!!). It is very cold here already - I live in the upper peninsula so that is not uncommon. I am hoping it's just temporary and we have some more warm days. Winter is long enough here and I don't care for the cold!!
I am sure as I watch all the new things coming to the store I will see more that I love. I am really not fussy though so I am sure I will love whatever you choose.
What kind of scrappy projects do you enjoy? Do you have any pets or children? I mostly scrapbook my son but I am many years behind!! I have to try to find more time to get some pages done.

I want your job if you have Fridays off How nice would a three day weekend be every week. I'm in banking so we were off Monday which was very nice.
I have two boys, 18 and 13. They both graduate this year, the oldest from high school and the youngest from middle school. I'm finding this is a bittersweet year for me. I also have a Pomerarian "Molly" who is hell on paws LOL. She is wide open, but we love her so much. I have been married 25 years this upcoming February. I want to have a vow renewal ceremony, but dear hubby doesn't want too. He said he did it once and that should be enough!!! MEN!!!
I have been working on a Christmas album for this year so when I get my pictures all I will have to do is put them in the book. Pages are ready and just waiting on the pictures. I've got so much scrapping to do and talk about being behind..........I am waayy behind.
Do you have children? What are you working on right now? I am planning to have some friends over Saturday and we're going to have a scrapbooking day.

Secret Santas Sister,
I don't have any dies on my wishlist because my DH has decided to get me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas. I am so excited, I already have a cart full of shapes. 
As for the embossing folders, I do like some of them, I saw a damask one @ Hobby Lobby a while back that I liked. But even though I like it I don't know how much I would use one. They always seen to tear more than emboss. Maybe I am using the wrong sandwich but anything else doesn't cut/emboss.
I do have an affinity for Die cuts that I can use for titles...Not really anything for the sizzix or cuttlebug but more the OA Miscellany and thickers.

Sorry for the delay! I've been running around like a maniac. I was frantically trying to figure out what was wrong with my internet connection last weekend. Something was just blocking my router/modem signal.  Pinterest is getting me in the Christmas mood. Do you have one? I think I'm going to start a Christmas board soon. I don't think I have a wishlist here. If I do it's probably 5 years old. I wonder if any of the Christmas decor stores that have wall to wall Christmas trees are open yet. We have a couple of nice ones in Pasadena and Seal Beach. Googling 'Bangkok Christmas trees' is one of my favorite past times. They create some very unique looking Christmas trees over there. I like this one. And this one.... And this one. I like to put my Christmas trees up in the center of the room. I don't give a sheet if it blocks the TV!
