I was lucky this year at halloween. My daughter is almost 14 and she wanted this mrs edward scissorhands costume ($62) but we wear the same size so I am wearing it Friday night to a dance party that my husband and I are attending. We do ballroom dancing, argentine tango and salsa. Great exercise and great quality time with my spouse. |

Hi Westcoastsista...How are you doing? All is going good here...it was my 2nd week of my new job and boy, there are alot of things to learn...who would have thought...lol I am so glad it is the weekend...I am going to go scrapbooking in a couple of minutes, then taking the kids to two Halloween festivals tomorrow...should be a good day for them...then,have to bake a bunch of cupcakes on Sunday for work on Monday...they are having a bake sale for AHA....next week at work will be fun...Monday is PJ day, Tues is Tacky day, Wed we get to wear costume (I will be Cleopatra), Thurs is Wild Hair day and Fri is team spirit day (GO VT)...its not the best job in the world, but they like to have fun...lol
Well, gotta go scrapbooking...have to get my stuff together for the daily album swap...

That sounds really cool with putting lights all around your Christmas dinner table and then turning out the lights. How fun!
I started drinking hot tea again too. Do you have a favorite flavor? I really like cinnamon apple.
I've never heard of the "My Shopping Adiction," I'll have to see if we have it here. My favorite places to shop are either craft stores(Michaels, Archiver's, or Hobby Lobby) or Home Decor stores like HomeGoods.
That's great you won something from Pottery Barn!!

Are you doing anything for Halloween? I'm getting ready for a baptism for a friends baby and a 21st birthday party next week. I hope the windows don't crack when I walk into the church! I started shopping for my secret sis too. I stopped at my local VA thrift store today to look through the art and bought a chia pet for my SS. Just kidding! I'll catch up with you next week.

I hope your weekend has started out amazingly. How was your week? I hope not too busy for you. Have any plans for the weekend? I plan on getting some scrapbooking in. at least that is the plan, and you know what happens with that. LOL Are you currently working on any projects? I know with all the holiday coming up it is a busy time of year and there can be lots of ideas. With that said, have you seen anything new and exciting that you just cannot live without that you would like to add to your wish list? If you have, just let me know and maybe I can plant a bug in Santa's ear.

JCI to wish everyone a Happy Saturday. I'm taking this chance to wish everyone an early Happy Halloween because I fear that I will be without power by Monday as I am almost in the direct path of Sandy. Hoping everyone in her path remains safe. Lets prepare for the worst and hope for the best! My daughter is not very happy about possibly missing out on Halloween. I told her to look on the bright side that all the candy I bought will become hers! Have a great day everyone.

Just got back from mandatory continuing education at work, 4 1/2 hours. Good thing it's overtime, they use it as a group meeting to keep us up to date on a lot of changes going in the system. They even give us a continental breakfast, which was very good, I guess that makes up for using our Sat morning. They only do it twice a year. Next I want to go and develop the pictures from my trip and scrap them this weekend, I have some beautiful fall colors scenery ones. I have some pages already made up I can add them too. Hear we might get a bit of snow from the Frankenstorm coming, I will do a little shopping, just in case. Hope everyone affected is kept nice and safe.

I haven't paid much attention on new paper lines mailnly cause I don't wanna fall in love with any LOL! But I love anything fun colorful or anything that will coordinate with My December Daily kit. Hi Becky I hope you have had a nice weekend and had fun with your Granddaughter. Just wanted to check in with a quick hi because we are going to be impacted by Hurrican Sandy or Frankenstorm whatever you want to call it. I'm hoping I don't lose power but I'm not holding out much hope because we lost power for a week with Hurricane Irene. I guess I've given away a general, very general idea, of my location but I didn't want to take the chance that I would lose power and you would think I forgot about you. Did some shopping this past week, have a craft show on Saturday, so will look for some goodies there. We are on the fringe zone of Sandy, we are just expecting rain, snow and wind. For those of you farther east keep safe. My DD rushed to move into their new home this weekend, they have most of their stuff moved, but the rest will have to wait until after the storm. They are in the Philly area. |

hope u had a fun weekend! are u ready for halloween? i know u have a baby, r planning to dress your little one up? my son is super excited about hallwoeen! i have been so busy with volunteering to do a lot for his classroom party...i think i took on too much, but luckily my mom is a huge help! i always get excited & want to make & help with everything when that form comes home from school to sign up for something...especially anything crafty! lol!
how many children do u have? do u have any hobbies besides paper crafting? do u collect anything? do u like nail polish, make up &/or lotion? do u like to cook/bake?
what is your favorite type of gift to give in the under $50 price range? homemade crafts, baked goods,
candy/chocolate, wine, candles, clothes, fuzzy socks/scarf/gloves, picture frames or sleepwear? what about favorite to receive?

I hope all is well. That also goes for all those in the path of this horrible storm. I pray for your safety.
Are you taking your son out trick or treating, if there is a break in the weather? I brought an awful lot of candy if no kids come out. My grandson is going to be Spongebob, it is so cute.
I love to see all the little ones in costume.
I cannot believe Oct is almost over, where does the time go. Next minute it will be Thanksgiving, and on to Christmas.
Are you reading any books for pleasure, not text books? Do you have any on your wish list?
Do you like to do puzzles , I like Suduko.
Boy, have I been raking up the leaves, garbage day I lined the whole front of the house with the brown paper bags. How about you, do you have a lot of yard work? I love to work outside until the colder weather hits, but my back says enough leaves already. My tree is empty, but all the neighbors leaves are dropping by. .

We are going trick or treating. He is dressing up like the red transformer robot. He's excited I think.
I'm only reading text books right now dang it. I have a huge test on Saturday that I have to pass before I can graduate. I do want to read the book Cloud Atlas among several others. I'm such a book nerd.
I love love love sudoku!!
I do love working in my flowers. My favorites are daisies and petunias. I tend to mine every day. They make me happy. My little one and I always look in the daisies hoping to find what he calls a new "baby". He gets excited when we find one.

Wow, Hurricane Sandy was scarey! It was a long two days, but we are down to a drizzle. We are one of the lucky ones with power and have people sleeping over that lost power so they can stay warm. We lost a tree, but we are so thankful that is all. The destruction is unbelievable! I hope everyone else is safe in Sandy's path. | |
