10/15 I hope to open round 2 of Journaling blocks either Wednesday or Thursday. Be on the lookout for them. They will include 2 disney Groups since I had a request for them and well most of you know I Love Disney!!
9/22 Please note I increased some groups to make 12 get back 12. I had such a interest and these are soooo easy to make, I figured that ya'll wouldn't mind...I hope everyone is cool with this.
This Swap is for Project Life Journaling Blocks.
Due Nov 17, 2012.
Since so many are doing Project Life I thought this maybe a way to get some Journaling Blocks to add to your current book or your future book. I am actually going to start one of these. and wanted to get some block in my stash.
If this one goes over well, I have already have a 2nd one ready to host. I found too many words/phrases too cute not to use!
Guidelines:
1. Since most of the journaling blocks with Project life are 3x4 or 4x3 I am going to leave it up to you as to the orientation. Please make the actual size 2 7/8 x 4 or 4 x 2 7/8 (I dropped the 4x6 size as I think it will just easier to stay with one size.)
2. These will be embellished at least 3 times. Please use flatter type embellies like inking, stamping, washi tape, tags, twine, wood veneer, die cuts, doilies, sewing, border dies cuts...NOTHING thicker than the wood veneers.
3.Appropriate paper for journaling...current papers for example papers with grids, lightly colored chevrons, kraft cardstock or cardstock(with or without lines stamped on it). No bold prints where you can not see what you are writing or if you use bolder patterns place a lighter paper on top for journaling. When researching this I saw journaling blocks with bold prints with a Doily on top for journaling and a piece of washi on it, with a Word or phrase in the corner.....just an idea.
4. ALL corners will be rounded (reason the original blocks are rounded).
5. The word you choose on the journaling block somewhere. It will be on the page (not hand written) stamped, typed, small stickers, die cuts, ...etc This are small blocks to journal on, so make sure word is not over powering you block.
6. You will make 10-12 and get back 10-12. See the number to make at the top section.

Mail them to me by the due date of November 17, 2012. Please include postage for the ride home to you....send as much as it cost you to send to me. Please send stamps or money. My post office does not take metered strips (he told me he would be fired if he did). I will send back any postage/money not used.
PLEASE, PLEASE place each group of items in a Ziploc bag and LABEL them with your name, the Swap name, and Group number.

For me I have a new computer and it is so more sensitive that my old one. I thought I hit edit and then I watched as my computer stated "deleting post" and me screaming NO!!!!

So, do I need to relay another entertaining story Becky???
We have a new puppy (Lizzy) and I am trying to house train her. She got loose when I brought her in the house after my son's bath and was running laps around our house. My 4 year old was standing in his room about to get dressed and reached down to grab his underwear and our puppy swooped through his room and snatched up his underwear and kept running. My son was upset and was running circles around the house naked trying to catch her hollering "No Lizshy, Shtop! Come back!" ...I thought it was funny...he DIDN'T! Ha! We never did find his underwear...
