I gave the family down the street who home-schools nearly all of my collection of decorative edged scissors. I just wasn't using them. I kept the three pair that I had used the most and the rest are outta here.
I am decluttering and it is feeling so good to be able to find what I really use and not dig thru a ton of stuff.

Win-win for everyone!

My Scrapn' Blog

Photographers are violent people. First they frame you, then they shoot you, then they hang you on the wall; but if you're real good, they will scrapbook you!

Good for you. There are probably two of my four pairs I should do that with, but the other two I use quite a bit, maybe because I only have two border punches.

What a great idea. I'm always giving my SIL wh is an elementary teacher the proceeds of my decluttering of my scrapbook supplies, but I've never thought of all those scissors that I almost never use.

I love those scissors for younger kids. They can get neat effects without having perfect scissors skills.

Thanks for the pats on the back. Really it helped me more than them. As scrapmomto5 said, now I have room for new things. (Like that Cameo I've got my eye on. Just not quite ready to take the plunge.)

Sent dd over this afternoon with more, a box of old stickers. It worked out well. DD made a new friend and they were glad to get the stickers.
