Prosperina - did you have an opportunity to mail these yet? I've emailed as well and again, if you didn't, I completely understand but please let me know if I should fill-in for you. I am prepared to do so but wanted to get an update from you first. I am here to help in at way I can. Truly.
Still waiting on 3 sets that are due to arrive tomorrow according to DC's, yay. I really would like to send these back out by Saturday for all that has return postage in place.

Also, I included a little something for the hostess, I had originally made enough to put two on each banner but though it was too much so threw some extras in for you. I cant tell you what they are but they are adorable and will make great tags for Christmas gifts or to add to something to coordinate with the banner!
Thanks again! | |

Update OP regarding shipping status.
It's been a pleasure to host this swap as I hope you adore these as much as I do! Again, it's been said time and time again but the women in my circle and a few neighbors would just love to take my banners off my hands. LOL!
I am debating about hosting a Valentine's themed one but most likely will as I know some decorate a tad especially those with children it seems. I will definitely host a St. Patty's Day and Easter one that I will begin taking names for and pre-cutting those suckers for now. I can't believe my pennant die has kept up so far, I estimate that die has been through the ringer at least 300 times since later Summer!

Janet - OMG I didn't have a chance to cross-reference my list and just created 15 identical piles from each person's package... I just now seen after April mentioning that we have a mix-up regarding the letters. It appears you created an "S" when your letter was "R". Since I got yours and a couple of packages last week, I was in a rush to try and get them back out to everyone as quick as I possibly could considering the few that were sent after the due date (understandably).
I apologize for not seeing this over the weekend and hope it's not a bother for everyone to create an "R" in lieu of the extra "S" you had received.

Looks like mine will be delivered today, I have no problem making an R for an S.
I'm looking for constructive feedback on my pieces because I am so new to swapping. Could anyone tell me what they like and what they would have liked to see or where I can improve.
I'm also thankful I had these done before Dad passed, and I truly appreciate everyone thinking about me and giving me a couple days to get these mailed!
It has been mentioned that there may be a Valentine banner swap upcoming, I would LOVE that. Do you have an idea on what you want it to say? I would suggest "Love Lives Here" with two spacers! Either way I will want a spot!

Urgh I cannot think straight anymore. I think I am taking a break from holiday hostessing as Nov - Dec is just too insane around here now that I am Mommy with a December child.
I was short 1 "S" that had the bingo card (SS) on it but swapped the group as-is keeping my second banner short, I can create another one as I also received a few extra stockings that were also used on banner as a hostess gift and I have that particular sheet of paper so maybe I gave you the extra S Andrea?
Okay in a nutshell we had 3 groups of "S"'s and it looks like Janet make
"S"'s instead of the assigned "R", most likely she had "S" in mind as that was her letter for the Harvest Banner Swap so I could see how that could easily happen.
And I am knee-deep in getting my son's party invites out and also organizing Christmas Eve that we have last minute stepped up to host for over 50 people that I honestly do not know if I am coming or going anymore. Almost can't wait for Dec. 26.
If anyone likes, I can cut out the "R" for you and send right away to replace the "S".

Can those that created these please identity who's is who's as none of them are labeled on the back:
Also for those that would like to keep on with a Valentine's themed one, please keep your "S" as it may come in handy.

Ladies, I am so sorry!! I did have S on the brain from the harvest banner and I did this one with a rapid turnaround.
So, here's what can happen: I have more of that paper and bling, so if you PM me your mailing addy I will cut R's out of the same paper and the same font and mail them out to all of you. It's no problem, really. I used the cricut and will cut them tonight. You would only need to switch it out with foam squares and keep the S for something else.
So, PLEASE PM me with addys and they will be in tomorrow's mail!
Again, my apologies, I really didn't know!!

Jeanette, I had two banners in that group, so I received an extra s for each one.
No worries! I will make an R and stick it on there! no biggie. I was hoping that I did not have someone's else's pieces.

Hi Becky,
You essentially have all pieces, complete by everyone except there is an extra "S" in lieu of being an "R" due to an oversight by Janet. She has offered to cut an "R" to send out so that's up to everyone whether they'd like her to do so.
Janet - no worries on my part, I already cut a few R's & good to go. |

Lol Becky... Speaking of trying to find a place. My whole house is filled with tools. So, I went outside to try to find a place over a window and was run off by the roofers. So I went to the front yard and try to find a a place around one of the windows or may be in the entry way. But was run off by the exterior carpenters. I may have to put my poor little banner up and hang it next year. |

Hi Ladies--so how are each of you hanging this? To be honest, I did not get the others hung up at all. Do you string ribbon through the loop things on the edges--and does it hold?? Any other ideas? I want to get this one hung up before my Mom comes to visit for the holidays so any tips are helpful! |

I hung my Halloween and Thanksgiving banners by threading baker's twine through the end loop of each pennant. If you go back to page 5, you can see my Thanksgiving one. I believe Aimmer hung her's with ribbon.
If you don't think the loops will hold, you could punch a hole in a bit, but there might be embellishments in the way.

I used bakers twine. I have also been known to use small clothes pins to attach them to ribbon or to use my tiny attacher if I really get impatient |

I have used all the above - twine, ribbon and for Halloween one (think I have pic in my gallery), I used tulle on each top corner loop tying 2 ends together. Right now I have looped one long piece of hemp twine through top loops. Very cute! So far all my banners have held with loop attachment. |
