Definitely a Starbucks on site and no "shared" music.

Massage would be nice after a day of leaning over layouts.

Tons of healthy snacks like fruit, nuts and cheese/crackers...evening dessert bar but not all day!

I actually go to an awesome close to perfect as I can imagine,

We go for 3 days, we have a great price on rooms $79, the crop costs $50 and the sponsors bring their entire store.....there is food and bar service right at the tables. Great food too. We have a huge ballroom with tons of table space. The hotel is ocean front and only 2 hrs from my house.

We go twice a year and in 3 weeks we go back.......can't wait.

They do paper sales 10-25 cents each and draws. it all. If there is better, I can almost not imagine it.

A candy buffet would help but we all pitch in to bring snacks.....this year I am making halloween bags for he girls too.....

I love the smell of card stock in the morning.....

The Movie poster that is my avatar is very special cause my husband is in it and it won best film at the Canadian Film Festival in 2012. See it......It's super funny.

Colorado Rockies in September, with an Aspen grove outside and lots of picture windows for natural light.

Two 6 foot tables.

Private bedroom.

Tasty, home-cooked meals, but not full of fat and calories. Hate feeling heavy when sitting for so long.

Lots of Peanut Butter and Coconut m&m's. Lots of water and unsweet tea and snickernut coffee. My own box of Cheez-its.

Some of my favorite PEAps around me.

The ability to snap my fingers in the morning and be instantly showered and dressed.

SG on hand to run their fabulous on-site store.

And a full week to enjoy it all.

That's QUEEN Paper Peep to you!

I would love to have access to a photo printer. I have one I can tote along, but it's one less thing I'd have to bring. Oh, and I'd love for it to print up to 8x10, so I have more design flexibility.

-Private room
-No kitchen duties
-Ample table space and great lighting
-Kind acoustics! (Nothing makes me nuttier than having to SHOUT to converse with the person sitting next to me)
-Scrap-friendly snacks (M&M's or other non-messy foods)
-A good vendor or two
-Goody bags don't hurt, either.

Hum, most of what I would say has already been said!

1) At least 6 feet of space with lots of natural light.
2) Private room w/ bath.
3) Healthy food, snacks, drinks.
4) Masseuse on site, and gorgeous woods to take walks in to work the kinks out too!
5) Creative and talented ladies to crop with including my favorite crop buddies--my mom and sister.
6) Occasional games w/ new product prizes.
7) A few interesting make-n-takes.
8) On site store with the basics.
9) On site printer and electronic die cutter.

I've been to a few really fun retreats . . . but sadly they are not in business any more.

Goal for 2013 To scrapbook 1 Layout per week = 52

'12=60, '11=103, '10 Unknown but not many! '09=89, '08=198. '07=148

How bout all of the above PLUS that it's a Two Peas get together and many of us that have been posting and sharing ideas and layouts for years finally get to meet each other! How cool would that be!

8 ft rectangle table for each scrapper, good food not the greasy stuff, great goodie bag no old stuff allowed into it, some games for those who want to play along. Single rooms available at a reasonable price. great location to trails and shops. Really nice grand prize. Store on site. Comfortable chairs and great lighting. The ability to bring an extension cord for machines. Nice welcoming people. A pool and hot tub for later, a television area and internet access.

I think for a perfect crop you need at least one obnoxious person that everybody can come back to the Crop Nightmares thread and tell about later.

an assistant who cleans up after all my scrappy mess and hands me things as I need them

SUPER COMFORTABLE CHAIRS...ones that would recline, yet still allow me to scrap

a service that will keep my drinks cold with crunchy ice...and that same service will also read my mind when I'm ready for coffee and a sweet treat

My dream crop is at the beach, a table by a huge window overlooking the ocean. There is great natural light, people are steadily working so there is a hum of activity but no loud outbursts and other distractions.

I would have a big table to myself and a super comfy chair. There would be great snacks and food to help myself as the spirit moves me.

There might be some soft music but sort of in the background; maybe a fireplace somewhere in the room and some lounge chairs or comfy sofas to take a break and relax in to look at the fire or stare at the beach.

There would also be things to buy if I want to browse; maybe a swap and sale table.

Definately NO KIDS, and cell phones on vibrate. No kitchen or clean up duties. Private room nearby to go to for a break with wifi to check my email or whatever.

Cricut users would be in a separate room or all in one area so they can listen to the machine and I don't have to.

My choice is to not take it personally - people have opinions. Particularly people here.-Peabay 12/29/11

Large airy space with natural light, large work space, comfy chair and good lights for night scrapping.

Ice cold beverages (water, diet coke and tea). Hot beverages available as well.

Scrapping snacks (m&ms, twizzlers)

Easy quick meals (excellent food, but I hate wasting precious scrappy time waiting on meals!)

Nicely stocked onsite store
Free wi fi and access to a computer and printer and die cut machines so all I have to do is bring my cartridge and a mat for cutting.

I also like my venue to be scenic and offer amenities (bar, spa, pool, sauna, etc)

Comfy quiet rooms. Absolutely no smoking!!

Prizes! The retreats I attend always include special treats throughout the event and even a small prize with the chance to win something bigger...

I am spoiled as this is almost what I get at my retreat every year...

Comfy chairs
healthy snacks
nanny and housekeeper at home
plenty of room for my scrap stuff, computer stuff and cricut.
a friend to go with
my own music
photo printing services
no kids ( wouldnt mind my husband, but he would get sooo bored waiting on me hand and foot.)
I have lots of supplies, I would just need to bring them.

Ooh I like that!! Packing and unpacking! Last year the venue of my retreat changed to a new resort. The scrap space was in the basement (did have windows at least) but trudging down those stairs was a real bummer! A member of the resort staff offered to help and I didn't say yes (silly me).

Basically what all you lovely ladies said:

my own 8 ft. table
good lighting
my fave snax & drinx
comfy chair
private room
hot man bringing me my fave snax & drinx
free massages
scrap shopping on site or very close by
beautiful view of the ocean or mountains
no more than 2 hrs. away
finger-snap-shower idea is excellent

Oooh - I did think of one thing - all my fave restaurants w/in delivery distance.

So, when can we go?
