Hey y'all,
Haven't been feeling well lately and it's just getting worse. I finally called & talked to my endocrinologist's nurse today and she sent me to have labs done. She *thinks* it could be low thyroid. I'm honestly hoping that is the problem because then they can just bump up my medication. I really hate feeling this way & not knowing what is causing it... I have a lot of weekend plans and want to feel better so I can still do them!

I agree, this change they made to the site is huge! I like the clean look... it is a bit too bright, but I can get used to it. I do miss the post count & locations, and hope they put those back!

Favorite Halloween costume? hmm... Well, I was obsessed with being a princess at least 4 years in a row! One year, my uncle made me a crown out of foil, and I loved it Justin's girlfriend was "Mrs. Scissorhands" last year, which was a fun costume!

Michelle for some reason I can't post a comment on your LO...or you might end up with 5 or 6 (from multiple attempts-LOL) so here's my feedback for your TRANSFORMERS LO

Cute. I am already missing doing theme parties...now that my boys are 13 they think they've outgrown theme parties....dang it.

And for your THOSE EYES LO

very cute. I like the big photo and the bigger title

It says it's adding comment but then just sits there forever and does nothing. Hmmm.

MICHELLE well aren't you a "chatty Cathy"...1000 posts...that's a lot! You think your kids will like that you're an addict now? Repeat after me, "Hi my name is MICHELLE and I'm a scrapaholic," LOL

TONI I applaud you, hiking fieldtrips aren't my favorite. I'm one of the kids that falls behind.

TINA you've been duped! The boys' room really needs to be repainted, want to come help? LOL

TAMMY I forwent the walking although it's rather desperate that I get to the bank. I've been very sick, coughing non-stop to the point that my ribs ache and my head hurts. Followed THERESA's lead and took some DayQuil before going to bed and slept well and woke up feeling better, but by noon the symptoms were back (guess the meds finally wore off) so ended up taking more and fell asleep around 1 p.m. (suppose to be non-drowsy but I always react differently than I'm supposed to) and didn't wake up til 4:30 p.m. when the kids showed up from practice. Still very loopy. BUt I'm not coughing and I can breathe, so guess that's some relief but needless to say I got nothing done. LOL

BARBARA where do you live? I thought you were midwest...but obviously if you're in Berkley CA that can't be so. Have fun at the game.

The new design is going to take some getting used to.I don't like how bright it is either. Not enough contrast. Can't say I like how the comment section works in the gallery; harder to read for me especially since the writing is more gray than black. Hard on these old eyes. But I'll adapt, I'm sure. Oh heck, I didn't see that the post count was missing, NOW I DON'T LIKE THAT AT ALL.

Oh wow LORI I'm not sure the dimensions, but it's rather small. I had to load a photo to another photo posting site (photobucket.com for me) then download that photo I believe under change signature. Hope you figure it out.

Another one from me:

Well, some parts of this new design clearly still need work!

I just tried to comment on Debi's LO and it won't post my comment.

Here ya go, Debi:
I *really* like how you did that title. And that 'spinner' is great. Super cool how the photo is incorporated...main element but the embellishments still stand out. This is very artistic, creative and COOL.

I like a lot of things about this design, but the grey is really a bad idea. I do like the new comment format. I am certain they are gonna have to put the post count back in!! People are *really* about that.

Off to marinate my tri tip!

Thanks for the help Theresa, IT WORKED!!

Ok, childhood costume... I went as Casper the Friendly Ghost for about 4 years in a row, lol. Wish I had a picture of it but my Mom was never one for pictures.

Next is to remember how to upload a LO, lol. I have a few pictures of the LOs and cards I have done over the weekend.

Linda, you must have posted while I was typing.

Still cant get a comment to work so I'll put it here for now:

Java Girl LO: I love that button-paper border at the bottom. Really, really cute!! Great LO.

I'm thinking that I can't comment properly because I don't use Internet Explorer. I'm gonna experiment with that...

OK, when I access our thread using IE, my comments ARE there.

DEBI -- your comments are there as well. Do you use IE?

I use Chrome and clearly 2Peas is designed primarily for IE, which I really, really, REALLY do not like.

Hmmmmmm. I think I need to comment on that publicly...

The comments do post, just the comment post box won't go away until you refresh. Stupid but true fact. There will be a couple of duplicate praise posts on your layouts before I realized what was going on. But I'm praised up!

Lori, great new photo.

Monica, hope you feel better soon.

Watched Big Bang Theory and am surprised you didn't hear Randy laughing at your house. Gray's Anatomy was better tonight. Headed to bed now.

Geek Pea posted a link about the new changes. You can hover over the Pea's name and get the location and post count. He's getting a lot of negative feedback on the bright white but from his post it doesn't sound like he cares. I added my 2 cents worth.

Good morning Girls!

Wow, all this white is hectic early in the morning! Gonna take some getting used to as it doesn't seem they want to change it...

Thanks for all the comments re being and ADDICT. Yeah, never was one of my life's ambitions, but things change, you know? At least "it's only paper" .

Just popping in to say hi - off to a meeting so need to get going. I'll explore a little later - dying to see what everyone is saying about the comments on LOs, but just don't have time right now.

Morning all. It's really dark outside this morning, thought I had gotten up too early!

Think my time on 2P's is going to be a lot less with all this white. It was bright enough last night with the house lights on. Seriously I can see the computer screen at the other end of the house this morning. Geek posted a reply in the official thread and said he doesn't think he's going to change it. Makes my eyes hurt to read more than a few minutes worth. Hope he changes his mind.

I hope they change the colors of the links/read thread links, I had to search hard for our thread because the grey color is so light. I turned down the brightness of my screen and that helped, but I too am on the "too much white" bench. Maybe because I have signatures off and so not a lot of graphics are on the forum pages?

My favorite costume was Dyna Girl. My best friend was Electra Woman.
My favorite costume that the kids have worn were the year Becca was Tinkerbelle, Joey was Peter Pan and Bobby was Captain Hook, Josh was a pirate.

Thank Theresa. I realized after changing my profile pic that it really wasn't much different then the last but there was 4 years in between them being taken, lol. At lease I have 2 eyes in this one,lol

Happy Friday!
I'm starting to wonder if the cause of my problems is a sinus infection. I woke up with a major headache, head about to explode, sinus pressure, and vertigo. I am trying some home remedies (Mucinex, inhaling steam, set up humidifier, etc.) but I am also going to make an appointment with my doctor.

Seems like it is going to be a lazy day around the house... again. Blah!

The white doesn't seem as bad to me today I think because my head hurt so bad last night... and the dark room made it worse. I do hope they change the font size and colors of the read threads. Oh, I also figured out that you can no longer right click "reply" to open a tab in a new window.

Well, while I am laying here in my pjs, I think I will work on praise...

okay, I praised backwards from here through page 4.

I got an appointment with a new primary care doc for Monday! Yay! He's a D.O., so I'm excited to see what he says about everything. My mom says that her favorite family doctor when we were babies/kids was a D.O.

Ok the comment section in the gallery seems to be working today. still not fond of the format with the comments down the side or the formatting of the emails of comments. I DO NOT like all the white. Too hard on my eyes. A light green would be nice. The post and LO counts are back and MONICA if you right click on the POST REPLY at the very bottom, NOT the REPLY colored tag, you can open a reply in another window.

I came down with the worse flu I can remember yesterday afternoon. And I thought I was starting to feel better but it hit hard (high fever, vomiting, severe stomach cramps, chills, shaking so bad I couldn't control it) I barely crawled into bed and have been there ever since except to hit the bathroom. Not good at all. Hope my kids don't get this. Needless to say I'm in no condition to do anything including getting my car fixed or taking my kids 1 1/2 hrs up the freeway on Sunday for a frisbee tournament. They will be disappointed but what can I do?

I have a splitting headache, been grinding my teeth all night so my jaw hurts and so far can sometimes keep OJ down. Nothing else. All I want to do is sleep. I'm roasting! Last night my skin was so hot to touch you would have thought you could have fried an egg on it. A bit cooler today. Hope this passes quickly.

With feeling unwell, this bright white is excruciating to try to read so I won't be hanging out here much til I get better.

Have a great Friday, and a good weekend.
Debi

Sorry but I have come here to Brag tonight.

But I am bragging about an amazing acheivement made by out small little country school. Our school is one of the few left in our area that actually runs the FULL 10k for Terry Fox. Many schools have shortened or given up the run all together.

OK, our little school of 276 students(yes 2 hundred 76)had set a goal of raising 6500.00. WELL they did that AND SOME raising 8389.63. I can't begin to express how proud I am of our school.

Over the last 15 years we have raises 145,745.22!!!!!!

Sorry but I thought with all of the happenings with CG friends lately, I thought this might be a cheerful moment for everyone.

LORI it's great when community comes together and raises money for a good cause. Way to go.

I'm feeling a bit better, more like I did just with the cold, before getting hit with the flu. Not great but at least I'm not roasting to death or shaking in my boots anymore. Still coughing which I'd love to have go anytime.

Have to admit I haven't gotten much done. Ex decided to be difficult. When isn't he? He didn't answer my emails for the last 2 weeks about arranging for the boys to play in their tournament, in an effort of forcing me to give up yet another weekend to him. I decided not to play the game and just said no. Sorry, the kids won't be going to their tournament. I can only do so much. So when that didn't work, he decided to harrass me about the boys hygiene insisting they shower before he picked them up. Well I said no to that too. Told him if he wants them to shower at his house, go for it, but I wouldn't be prim and prepping them to go to his house above our normal schedule. Then when they got here, they insisted the boys go find the swim trunks they wore here the other day (they have several pairs at their dad's, and they aren't going swimming this weekend) Good thing I had them laundered. Geesh, it's all the niggly things that drive me crazy with that man and his newest wife.

Heard from the grandparents today too...email asking to have the boys come and decorate cookies for Halloween (on the pretense that the boys have been asking them to). I'm fine with that but turns out the boys haven't even spoken to their grandparents and given their preference would prefer NOT to go and make cookies (it's their step-grandmother's thing).

After securing the one of the two days we had free in their list of dates, she then emailed asking for the other day to have the boys come over and watch the presidential debates. The boys said no they didn't want to, so I thanked her for the offer and declined. I then get a message trying for the guilt angle of "I don't know why the boys wouldn't want to come for the debates given our conversations with them lately." Again the boys said they haven't had any conversation with the grandparents. Is it me, or is that whole family manipulative and nuts?

So I guess I'm just learning how to say "NO" and not have to give reasons. You don't have to know or agree with why I'm declining, right?

So here I sit, out of OJ, no car, and wishing I could get out of this house. But alas, it's not going ot happen tonight, so guess I'll scrap or sleep or both.

Upside...I have the weekend to myself.

GeekPea made some changes again, the pea count is back and the location and you can add threads to your watch list by clicking on the little arrow next to the reply. Even with the gray alternating the white is just too bright. I've adjusted my brightness but it just makes the letter light too. Made another plea to change it, hoping they do.

Lori, congrats on the fundraiser. Sounds like the whole school deserves to brag!

Debi, hope you feel better.

My knee gave out on me today. Walked up the 3 flights of stairs to go to work and was going down the hall when it just gave out. No warning, no pain before hand but plenty afterward. I fell sideways into a wall or I'd have hit the floor. Couldn't put any weight on my left leg without having excruciating pain. My knee cap felt like it dislocated. One of my coworkers found me in the hall and helped me. I was trying to show her where it hurt, pushed in on the side of my knee and it popped. The pain got better and I was able to hobble down the rest of the way. Doc said he thinks it was just Plica (a little extra stuff that sometimes floats and gets in between where the knee bends) and it should be fine. He said that it mimics a meniscal tear. Had to take 800 mg of ibuprofen, put on a knee brace and miss out on the Zombie Thriller Dance practice tonight. Doc said to rest it tonight, keep it elevated and if it's not better by tomorrow it might be the tear. Even then though he said since I didn't actually hurt it when it popped it will probably not require surgery. If it does he says he knows a guy, LOL.

Ok, girls, even though my photos are not too good I decided to post my layouts anyway. So, to the newer Calendar Girls - I really do scrap! These are some of the layouts I did over the summer. Most are vacation layouts.

Cousins - Heritage

Hamilton - Boyhood home of J.C. Penney

Marceline and Chillicothe

Hannibal, Missouri

Hannibal Lighthouse

Mark Twain

Sears Roebuck House

Please don't feel like you need to look and and comment on them all. I just knew if I didn't post them all I'd never get it done. Sorry in advance for some of the blur - that's what I get for being in a hurry. I really wanted to post some stuff for you guys or I would probably deleted them and never posted at all. Pretty much all the supplies are old. I have a lot of stuff to use up and even though I have stuff in my bucket, I'm waiting until I use some things before ordering.

Hope you all have a good weekend. We have the opening of Pheasant hunting this weekend and hopefully it will be busy.

Theresa- hows the knee today?

Debi- I don't think you need to feel guilty at all. While it's important for the boys to spend time with their grandparents, doing it under manipulation and lies on their part is not the way to go. Sorry, because I know it puts you in a bind.

Melanie- glad you posted! I love your vintage work.

Rebecca came home yesterday morning with really bad stomach pain again. spent all day on the couch and then began her cycle of vomiting about 4pm. gave her zofran at 8 after she vomited three times. she's still miserable this morning. so I am glad we hadn't committed to the big girl scout fair today. will just stay at home and rest (and maybe scrap??). Tonight Gary and I are going to a "Beetlejuice" theme party. should be fun.

I came back twice and checked on 2peas hoping the white would be softened, but no such luck.

Morning sunshines!
I'm feeling better today than I have the last few days, so I'm going to make the most of it! And it's beautiful outside, so that's always a perk. I'm going to scrap most of the day/evening, but I do have a Scentsy party tonight and hope to use my J's 60% off coupon (I feel for ya, Toni!).

I finally got around to uploading the first few layouts from my hotel crop. Be warned that you will see a lot of Oregon pages for a while!

Actual knee feels better, some pain behind my leg down toward the calf, thinking I may have injured a tendon. Still can walk on it without hurting so all is good. Tried to practice my thriller dance this morning and realized quickly that it isn't going to be possible without causing pain so I'll be a Zombie in the walk tonight without doing the dance portion.

Tammy, sorry Becca is ill again. Quiz her really well on what she ate yesterday, it may be a food allergy.

Can't spend more than about 10 minutes on 2Ps without eye strain, sure hope they change the white.

Praised up. Michelle and Austin are coming over in a bit to get ready for the Zombie Walk. I'll get Randy to take photos.

holy smokes, Theresa, those zombie costumes are AWESOME! You guys did an amazing job! Are you going to wear it again on Halloween?

I went to J's this afternoon and picked up some ATG adhesive with my 60% off coupon, plus some other scrap goodies on sale and a bunch of cheap Halloween activities to do with my cousin's kids next weekend! Then I went to a Scentsy party - the girl selling it I had worked with at the bank. She and I used to have the best time there! I sure miss that job & working with her. We spent some time catching up & promised to keep in touch & do more together. I love when old friendships are renewed

I've scrapped 2 layouts and a card today. I still have some energy left, so might crank one more out. I sure have a lot of uploading to catch up on!

Good morning!

I have just realised there must be something really wrong with my parenting skills... Kyle (4 1/2 yrs old) is just learning to write his name and just now he came to show me his first other word: "kill". Where am I going wrong?

Debi and Monica - thanks for asking and answering the 'other tag' question. I've always wondered how to do it... This makes commenting a lot easier. This computer-illiterate is getting there...

Debi - hope you are feeling better today. The flu sucks. At least you don't have to go outside for anything and can just chill.(no pun intended) The ex's family sounds very passive-agressive. Making up conversations is weird. And I agree that you can't force the boys to spend time with them if they don't want to. They are at an age when you need to let them make decisions too. Maybe you could let them tell the grandparents? I do agree that 'No' doesn't always need to be explained.

Theresa - horrible about your knee just giving in. Glad it's feeling better. Surgery if it's not? WOW! I need to go look at all the pics before commenting on the Zombie Walk, but it sounds like a cool idea.

Lori - that is amazing for a small school to raise so much for charity! I was in a high school of 315 kids and I wish mine could be in a small school too, but we just don't have small schools in our area. I used to love how everyone knew each other and even the sibs. Well done again!

Melanie - you scrap? Who knew! LOL! I'll go back and praise them ALL!

Monica - hope you are feeling better too. Seems there is a plague of illness/pain going around. I have a bladder infection but the meds have taken the pain away so I'm okay again. Just need to finish the course. A 60% off coupon- wow, we never get deals like that here... I'd spend a fortune on stuff I didn't really need just because it was a good deal. No wonder we haven't seen Toni - she must be exhausted with that going on.

Right, now I'm going to catch up on praise before I never can...

praisemark!

Tina - WOW! Your town goes all out for the Zombie Walk. You looked amazing. I can see why you made kiddies cry, lol. I love the bride with her bridesmaids too. What did you do over your eye? It's cool but gross too. My boys would love it!

Monica, thanks. No, won't be wearing it for Halloween. Since it falls on a Wednesday I'll be working and that is way too much gunk to deal with for 10 hours. Took over an hour to put on and like to never got it off me OR out of the tub!

Michelle, I know you meant me instead of Tina. The patch over the eye was purchased for $4. It was actually both eyes but I knew I couldn't do both so I cut them in half and my sister wore one. It has black mesh over it so you can see out, actually quite well. My sister has contacts so she didn't have any trouble seeing out at all--me on the other hand, no glasses at night. Not so clear! You adhere it to the skin with gum paste and then paint over it. I didn't do my make up like I wanted to. I added fake skin and scar tattoos and my skin ended up being too gray to really have the eye work if it was bright light or up close. From a distance it looked awesome. Had hundreds of people ask to take my photo so it must have worked. They raised over $3,000 dollars last night, whoo hoo!

Good morning, I had not been on this site for days, very surprised, I like the clean look I don't know if I'm crazy about the grey, more so than the white.

I also don't like that I can't open a window so that I can read and comment at the same time, guess I have to do it the old fashion way, but just opening another window to twopeas, I think I can live with that.

Theresa...That costume is amazing, you did an amazing job with the make up. WOW!!! That ZOMBI walk looks great!! Wow so many participate what a wonderful town you live in. Theresa I hope your knee is feeling better.

Debi..Sorry you are feeling a little under the weather, that flu is for the birds. I've had it for over a month, some days I feel wonderful then all of the sudden I'm in bed at 7 feeling horrible.

Tammy...How is Becca, poor baby stomach flu is not fun. How is she doing today, and how was the beetlejuice party?

Melody...soooooooooo good to see you scrapping again.

Lori..That's a lot of money raise, way for your small town to come together, that's fabulous. It's so good to see you here again.

Here are some I made this month. Sorry for the flood.

hey girls -

just wanted to jump on by and say hi...

Theresa - that is so stinkin' fun...and cool to boot! What a great fundraising event.

Trying to get used to the changes on here

Anyway, Larry and Kevin went to go look at a car today! Keep us in your prayers that it will work out for us...Larry is really, really grouchy these days carrying us all around, LOL.

The dog survived her surgery, but in the meantime she's hurt her leg/hip/foot...I gave her an Advil this morning so I hope it helps her.
we're keeping an eye on it. Needless to say, she's now peeing on the rug...hasn't done this since she was a little puppy!

Well, gotta run...sorry I haven't read everything though. Since Larry and Kevin weren't here, I did some cleaning, and want to do some more before work

see you all later.

Good morning. Rebecca is still ill. Had to give her zofran each day to stop the vomiting. It's not the flu- she is undergoing testing/treatment at children's for abdominal migraines. we ahve to wait until after thanksgiving to get into the GI there. So no church today. It poured last night but no word if the games are rained out today or not for baseball. Our beetlejuice party was fun- but dumb me didn't even take pictures.

Diana- if you click on "post reply" (at bottom of thread)and the return button at the same time you can open a second window automatically.

Theresa- your costume was awesome. I'm so impressed!

Lori- hooray for your school!!!

Monica- glad you and your friend reconnected!

THERESA you did an awesome job on the zombie costume. Geesh I have no idea of what you used even with you describing it. what is fake skin? I bet it was a bear to remove. Maybe you should make it your new icon photo. LOL

My fever broke for the first time around midnight. Woke up completely soaked through including the 2 blankets I had on. So got up and took a shower changed clothes and got a new blanket. Felt good then, and went back to bed. but now that I'm up, not feeling very well. Feel like the fever is back. Did try to eat this morning. Oatmeal and some tea but now my stomach is doing flipflops. I've lost 8 lbs so far so I need to start eating soon.

wish I felt as well as I did at 3 a.m. I have things I need to do today.

Maybe if I just get up I'll feel better.

Nice to see so many people stopping in these days.

good afternoon!
It's beautiful here today. I want to spend a least a little while outside, maybe reading. I love fall!

Debi- Bummer about being so sick Hope you get some relief soon.

Tammy- Glad you had fun at the party! You didn't take pictures?! Shame shame. How did your costume turn out, though? Hope you get some downtime today... maybe the games will be rained out.

Toni- Good to hear the surgery went well for your dog. But what a bummer that she injured herself again right away. Hope she heals without more vet bills Keeping my fingers crossed for you on the car!

Diana- I'm glad to see you've done some scrapping this month!

Theresa- Yikes, sounds like it was harder to get off than on, huh? It looked like a complicated costume! Good thing you got good pics

Michelle- The 60% off coupon is rare, and what they do is put everything else on sale (at 30-40% off), so it's hard to even find things to use it on. I figured adhesive was a nice, practical way to spend it Yes, lots of illness going on right now. I hope it all clears up for everybody soon.

I uploaded a few more layouts:

Just doing a quick, and I mean quick (the white is blinding to me) check in to see if anyone scrapped or posted. Weather turned out nice today which makes me feel even worse that I couldn't get it together to take my boys to their tournament. I know guilt serves no purpose other than to make me feel badly. Oh well. Hopefully they are having a good weekend.

Still not feeling too well. I was so hopeful after breaking the fever last night but it seems to have returned. Oy! I hate being house-bound, no way to get groceries either. Looks like it might be over $600 to repair my car...ouch! and that's just the alternator and battery, not including a needed oil change, or replacing the EGR valve which I'll have to do by next August or I won't pass the emissions test. Cars are just too expensive to maintain and too expensive to replace. What's a girl to do?

One last page from me. I did 10 this week while sick. At least I could scrap some.

sweet boy Noah

Hope you all are staying well and getting some scrapping done.

Debi - so sorry you are sick I hope it is over soon.

Tammy - hope you get some answers for Becca. It must be so frustrating to go through. I never heard of stomach migranes.

My dad will be selling all his cattle this week. He doesn't really want to but has no choice. The drought this summer has left him with no feed and it is too expensive to buy. He is having another surgery on his leg at the end of the month. At least he won't have to worry about taking care of them this winter. Still hard on him though to sell them ALL. If it starts raining in the spring and everything is ok with his leg he will probably buy a few - 10 or so and start over.

I'm thinking this praise if pretty fun - guess I better get to scrapping again. I still think I may make a few page kits for when I'm sitting at the hospital. Haven't started yet though. Still enough to do at work although the season is winding down. Started listing on Etsy again - my store was completely empty! Now have 40 items listed. Our Etsy store is oldwesttradingpost if you are interested. The store is also on Facebook for some of you newer girls if you want to see where I spend my time.

Well, better sign off for now.

Yay, I got the LO I did a couple nights ago uploaded. Still have absolutely no luck with the "related product" section though.

This is for Linda's Technique Challenge. Sanded the edges of the photo. Thought I find the picture of the LO itself very dark, might be hard to see.

Here are 2 cards I did last weekend. I am trying to use up the scraps from one of the BG Monthly Page kits from last year. I find the Indie Bloom too girly so I don't want scraps left, lol.

Lori look who's got the scrappin bug? I thought you hadn't left a link to your Rusty LO then realized I'd miss it because the text is so light blue I didn't see it. Funny too cause I really looked for it and instead went into your gallery to praise only to see the link there later. I don't t think I'm doing too well with all these muted colors. Too soft of a palette for my old eyes.

If they would just darken everything a couple shades, I'd like the changes but I feel like I'm reading through vellum.

I spent the afternoon doing laundry (not very enthusiastically) and watching catch up episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice which had me in tears though both of them. Guess being ill brings the emotions to the surface more. geesh.

Kept down some soup. so all is good. well a bit better anyway.

waited all day for 2 different shops to return calls on what it would cost me to replace the ERG valve...neither called back, and one even told me he'd never heard of such a thing. Doesn't exactly make me feel very confident in their services...LOL

I have to wrangle myself out of bed to fold a load of laundry and switch the wash to the dryer so my kids have underwear for school tomorrow. although I might make them to that when they get home in a couple hours. Fever is less but not very strong on my feet yet. Wanted to take the overflowing garbage out but now that's it's raining I may postpone that too.

Last one for tonight. I think, lol. This one is the actual POTM LO that I have been using the scraps from. I have tossed the last few pieces of paper but I still have LOTS of the embellishments left.

Calming Effect

OK, time to go get caught up on praise from the past day or 2.

That is a very good way to describe it Deb! I am not getting a headache like I did hte first night but I can feel my eyes straining.

I am caught up on praise. Sorry if I have missed any. I did try to find them all.

Owen spent the day at his friends today, so it was just me and Gavin. It was nice to have time just the 2 of us. We did some groceries, came home cooked all the veggies for dinner. Gavin made some Pumkin Muffins. Same recipe as Linda's LO but we used carrot cake mix and added pumpkin, chia and hemp seeds and raisins. I won't eat them but the boys love them, lol.

Now the boys are in bed and Kevin and I are watching The Walking Dead.

Speaking of Walking Dead Theresa you guys looked AMAZING!!!!

Happy Monday All--if there is such a thing!

Spent the day with Randy yesterday. After church we went to Bowling Green and did a little shopping. He got some new stuff and I happened to find some new shoes and boots (what can I say they jumped off the shelf into the cart, I had to buy them!).

Knee has given me a little trouble, well not really the knee, the side of my leg, sure it's a tendon pull. Wore my brace most of Saturday and to church yesterday but took it off and it's been okay without it. Still taking Ibuprofen. Going to take it to work but try not to wear it because it's uncomfortable.

Debi, hope you feel better. The fake skin is a latex product that is worn for theatrical makeup. You can buy it in the Halloween make up section of stores. You can put it on with gum paste. Allows you to add moles, scars, extra weight to your nose, etc.

Off to the showers. Can't believe it's still pitch black dark outside.

morning girls -

Lori - wow, that is awesome! What a great job you all did raising that kind of money. Kudos to you all.

Tammy - I am so sorry to hear Becca is still sick...is it stress? Is that why they call it stomach migraines? I sure hope they can find something for her. This is probably what Larry suffered from when he was a child (and still does somewhat) and they could never figure it out.

Melanie - Kudos to you for getting some pages done, girl I will get to praising some time this week.

Diana - oh, no, I didn't realize you couldn't pull up another page and post while reading this one...that stinks...not that I did that, but I would pull up another page especially when I was posting a page I did.
That stinks. Hope you're doing ok.

Monica B - yeah I know that's one of the bigger complaints about the coupons...but the items in floral (not the flowers themselves, or the vases, or done decorations) but the stones and raffia and floral ribbon are hardly ever on sale. Buttons and Ribbons are hardly ever on sale. I see you found that the adhesives are hardly ever on sale (which they used to be, so that's weird). The actual books (not magazines) are hardly ever on sale. There are a couple of other things, but I can't think of them right now. Just a little inside info

Well, I woke up late...Larry is going to go nuts when he finds out he'll have to take me as I won't be ready in time for Kevin, LOL. But it was soooooooooooooooooooo busy at J's this weekend, I was exhausted.

Anyway, I did do the scraplift page, and I'll post it sometime later.

Hope everyone is doing great.
Love you all.

Good afternoon!

Oops, Theresa, yeah, my turn for the typo... But you STILL looked awesome. I was wondering if you could actually see anything through that.

Debi- oh my dear! I really hope you feel better soon. 8lbs is a lot to lose in a short period of time and, though it feels good afterwards, isn't a good way to get better.

Tammy - Any news on Becca yet. I haven't heard of stomach migraines before either, but if it is stress induced, could it lead to a stomach ulcer? My youngest brother suffered from severe anxiety as a child and developed an ulcer by 11yrs old. Hope that's not her...

Sorry, need to run. Kyle has a dentist appointment - he woke up with toothache this morning but has been complaining about a sore cheek on and off for a few days. How he will handle an injection if a filling is needed I don't know. If you heard screaming all the way in the US it's him, lol.

Good morning. Need to call MD this am- Becca is no better. Woke up at 3am vomiting fiercely. Although I've been trying to get her to drink this weekend, I think she looks dehydrated and has only eaten 2 cups of applesauce all weekend. We've done testing to rule out a turned intestine, appendicitis, and constipation. Several folks have suggested allergy testing, so I think I'm going to ask for that before we lose our insurance. Thanks for your continued prayers for her and Gary.

Michelle- ouch! hope Kyle finds the relief worth the filling.

Toni- hope you got some rest. and that things work out for the car.

Theresa- glad you had fun- the make up looks great. hope your knee is able to heal quickly.

Debi=- hope you also got rest and are feeling better.

lots of layouts to praise- I'm going to do that now so I'm calling this my praisemarker.
I really hope they change the white and not just take a stand on it. I have not "popped on" like I normally do several times a day because I can't stand to look at it very long without having to move my eyes away to rest.
