This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges on 2peas and is a fun place to come chat with other scrappers.

1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. Mark the box for Pokey Peas as you post your layout. Put a link to your layouts on this Pokey Peas Thread for October. (If you don't know how to post a link, leave a note to me on the Pokey Peas Thread or peamail me and I will help you.)

2. This can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items.

3. Please leave praise for others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts.

4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or a dozen. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new Peas.

Please contact me with any questions.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!

Hi, Pokeys! I was careful this month to get our thread in the General Scrapping section instead of the General photography section. Silly me.

Jessie, I'm sorry you are moving so far from your family. I'm sure your parents will really miss that darling grandchild!!! I would love to visit Scotland! My husband's family were originally Scottish. I need to get Angie to post her photos of herself and her DH dressed up in their plaids.

Cindy, sounds like the doctor is pleased with your progress. I'm so glad the reflux is gone and that you are feeling better. You have such a great attitude for all you've been through the past 3 months.

Kelly, I love your drawings. You are doing a great job, and I'm sure you learn more with each drawing. Are you still working in your art journal? Do you add these drawings to that?

Val, we didn't have patterns for the spiders, we just sewed black tubes, stuffed them and the white gloves for hands and stitched the gloves on. We strung fishing line from each leg so that whatever hand movement you made, made all the legs move. We opened up the side seam of the sweatshirt and stitched the legs in as we sewed it back up. We used stitch-witchery to attach the red fabric on the front.

Jana, your retreat sounds wonderful. I'm sorry work is getting so stressful. Hopefully things will be better soon.

Angie, keep posting those layouts. You are really moving along. Can't wait to see all you guys at Thanksgiving.

Pam, hope you are doing OK? Did you tell us you were going to take a trip this fall? Hope you are enjoying the cooler weather.

On Saturday we took advantage of the free entry to National Forests and drove up through the Alpine Loop. The trees were so gorgeous. There were way too many people and cars (as usual this time of year) but it was a wonderful drive.

I hope to be more productive this month, but with the baby coming tomorrow, I may spend more time taking photos than scrapping them. I hope you all have a great October!!

Thanks for the new thread Nylene! We so appreciate you taking care of that for us!!! We have missed you-you are such a busy lady! Can't wait to see the new baby! I hope everyone does well and that the baby is super healthy!!!

Kelly-your drawings are wonderful! I can't draw very much or well at all! Maggie laughs at my drawings! LOL

Jessie-I too am sorry you have to move far from family but the way the world is today you go where the money is! I am sure your family will visit and you get to make new and interesting friends.

Jana-glad your security system is up and working! I am so jealous of you getting to go to the crops at SG! I so wish it was closer to me. I am going to have to make a trip out there just to visit their store! I will plan it when there is a good crop going on! Maybe we could meet there!

Val-thanks for thinking of me! How are the wedding plans going?

Angie-Is the potty training still going well? Loving your pages!!!

Waving a big Hi to Pam, Sarah, Anne, and everyone!

Here's a layout I posted. Back to School

Happy October and Tuesday! It is still hot out here in so cal but I hope the weather gets the memo soon that it is FALL! This heat is messing up some of my baking dreams but I hope it cools off soon so I can have fun in the kitchen making cookies and whatever else comes to mind.

Thanks Nylene and Cindy about my drawing! I am still having so much fun practicing these lady faces. My fav parts are the hair and make-up. Still so surprised that I am going this. My mom has been the artist as far as drawing. Also, this was the next step after coloring all those Disney princess books.

Nylene, I have continued my art journaling. But I do my new art in a separate book. I got a sketch pad from M's and love keeping all my pictures in a book.

Cindy- Glad to see you are scrapping again. SO happy for you! Oh, how is Kelly? Send my name sake a wave hello for me. Is she still scrapbooking? I know she was so busy with work. I hope she finds time to be creative.

Nylene- Congrats on the almost new grandbaby. What number will this be for you? I can imagine it never gets old but still every exciting everytime a new dgc is born. Your grands are so lucky to have you.

Just thought I'd show off the new little grandson. Alexander Douglas was born yesterday. 8 lbs 1 oz and 22 inches long. I can see that his mom has 2 built-in babysitters. By the way, Alex is a redhead too!

Kelly, this is #13 grandchild for us. You'd think it would get less exciting, but it never does!

I'll be back to chat later.

Just popped in to say hello.

Mom, I can't wait to get my hands on that baby! It's killing me to be so far away. What a sweet little yawn you captured. Don't forget to FaceTime me next time you visit him. I gotta hear that newborn cry.

Cindy, I love that you stay active with scrapbooking despite the health issues. It's inspiring. Thank you for asking about the potty training. We're in endurance mode now. He gets the idea but the novelty has worn off. All the same, we're hanging in there.

Waves to everyone else. I'm off to find inspiration for another page. I'm such a scrap-lifter.

Hey everyone!!

I finally landed long enough to check back in with you Pokey girls!! Hope everyone is well and happy.

I am not caught up but what I did see.... Nylene, congrats for being a new gm, I have a new ggd,Ruby, born Sept 3 and she is beautiful..
Cindy, hope you just keep getting better, loved those school photos of the dgc..they are growing fast.
Jana,I so understand the stress you are dealing with at work.. My only advice is to play hard when you are not at work and do the best you can and know that is all one can ask.

So it's for sure fall here, lovely colors, smells of burning leaves, harvest in full swing and the apple butter is done. Made 24 jars Monday & Tuesday, whew,it sure smelled good here!!

Got to visit Jacob on the campus this week... he's doing well and adjusting to his surroundings. We took his favorite home-cooked food over for a nice evening meal. He had a late evening class,so we dropped him off at the lab.

Well I know I have missed a lot... will check in soon. Soon Come

Pam, I'm glad you got to visit Jacob. How far away is he? I have never made apple butter, but I'd love to know your recipe. Angie's DH loves apple butter. Congrats on the great granddaughter. Aren't they just the best!!! So nice to see you checking in.

Kelly, glad you are finally getting some cooler weather. Ours turned very cool yesterday and the day before. I need to add another blanket to the bed. I dread the coming of winter. I need to check your blog to see if you've posted any other artwork. BTW, the two redheads in the photo are Em's other children. Alex is #3.

Hi,Cindy. Love your layout. Keep 'em coming. Are you on tastier food yet? I don't think I'll ever get tasty food again. I hate dieting...especially when you know you have to keep it up forever!!

Angie, I'm counting the days 'til you get here.

Waving to Sarah, Jen, Kim, Wendy, Leslie and all the Pokeys we haven't seen for a while.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hiya! Congratulations on Alexander, Nylene!!

End of Harvest Festival Sunday here so I'm in autumnal mode. And it's getting colder too like Nylene and Kelly I'm adding extra blankets!
And drinking hot cocoa!
I'm trying to find the time to make some cards that I can write notes in to send to people down here when I've moved. I'm going to use some of the mound of paper I already own onto white scallop-edged cards I just bought. But I'm soooo tired

Hugs to all you peas and hope you all find some cosy peace to be creative in xxxx

Hello, everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. Looks like I've missed a lot.

Nylene - Congrats on your grandson - Alexander is adorable!

Cindy - so glad you are recovering well. Can't believe you are still able to be so creative and productive. You are an inspiration!

Kelly - love your drawings! I'm so glad the weather's been cooler too. I've already made soup in the crock pot twice!

Angie - congrats on your new nephew! I love that your mom will be able FaceTime you the next she sees Alexander. Technology is amazing! Btw, I'm a total scraplifter too!

Jessie - thank you for your comment on my feet photo. It reminded me I have been neglecting the Pokey Peas. Hope you are settling in.

To all those I have missed - hello! Have missed all of you lovely ladies!

Cindy, I am glad that your surgery was a success! I hope you continue to heal properly. It would be fun if we could ever meet up at a crop at SG!

Jessie, good luck with your move and getting some scrapping done!

Kelly, I love your drawings! I love that you are using color pencils. My sister loves to draw and I have always wanted to see her use colored pencils. I gave her some for Christmas one year and she used them some. I think graphite is her favorite.

Nylene, what a cutie!! Congrats on your new grandchild!

Angie, I am a big scrap-lifter too! I am always doing a kit from SG, using a sketch or ideas form the gallery. A lady at the scrapbook meetup I go to told me that I am always using something for inspiration! My sister can just sit down and scrapbook but I need assistance.

Pam, I was glad that work was better this week. A nurse came back from vacation and we actually got to have staff we needed for the amount of patients the last time I worked. The night went much smoother! I hope the flu season doesn't hit us hard.

It has been cold here this weekend in the 40's! I have turned the heat on but plan to turn it off tonight. It is supposed to be in the high 60's again this week. I am just not ready for this cold of weather yet!!

I celebrated World Card Making Day at SG plus attended super saver scrapbooking. It the same people that sign up for the class so it is fun to sit and catch up plus scrapbook!

I hope everyone is doing alright! I hope to check back soon.

As usual, I'm on the run.
Here's my latest page. I've been focusing a lot on scrapbooking pics of my son. But I just couldn't resist doing something new.

Crafty Sam

Mom- As I write about scrapping something current I'm hearing a voice in my head saying, "Start with the most recent photos and work back." Oh, yeah. It's mine. Ah, the good old 4-H demo days.

Pam- As my mom mentioned, my husband loves apple butter. I can't find it anywhere here in northern California so "buy apple butter" is top on our to do list when we visit Utah. That, and see family, I guess. I should ask you for your recipe but...let's face it. He'll just have to wait.

Off I go again. Errands to run. Kids to entertain.
Waves to everyone else

Where is this month going? Seems like the days just fly by.

It has been so fun to have a new baby in the family. I spent yesterday with them as my son-in-law went back to work. Mom and Alex are doing really well. The older sisters are out of school today, so they didn't think I'd be needed. They are great helpers with the baby. (Sometimes too much help!)

Jana, I'm glad things are somewhat better at work. What will you do if the flu season brings in tons of patients? I hope they won't work you to death! Will they hire more nurses?

Hi, Cindy! How are you feeling? What scrapping classes are you taking now? I want to take a couple of the 2peas classes, but I need to have life settle down a bit more. I want to be able to devote the time needed to them.

Jessie, I think you have a great idea to use some of your stash to make cards once you get moved. I really need to decrease my stash, but it's so hard to part with it....in case I might need it someday! I have a lifetime supply. When will you get moved?

Anne, it's so nice to see your smiling face checking in. What's going on in your life right now? Are you getting any scrapping time?

Kelly, is it still cool there? It's been cold at night, but quite warm in the middle of the day. I'm expecting it to freeze soon. I need to go get the last of my tomatoes before it does.

Angie, I love your layout. I can't wait to get Sammie into my scraproom. I hope she'll take a bag of buttons, jewels, flowers and paper home with her. I'm working on a Sam layout today. I had to laugh at your "demonstration quotes" that pop into your head from 4-H. I find myself often thinking, "make sure you have all the graduation photos before you start the graduation pages". Does that sound familiar from your 4-H Scrapping demo?

Val, we are missing you. How are the Halloween party plans coming?
Did your sister get her job?

Nice to see all of you. Drop in when you have a minute.

Hsppy Friday! Hope it has been a good one for you all so far. Well, dh started another temp job today. So hope this one last longer than the last. It's a little closer to home too so that is nice. Just glad the rollercoaster has slowed down for a while.

Finally my AG pp came today! I was so happy to see all that pretty Christmas paper. So I am excited to start some cards. But just want the paper to sit a few days and let inspiration grow. I got 100 sheets in various patterns so I will have plenty to play with. Yippy!

Nylene- Yes, the weather has cooled down and it even rained today. I can't even imagine what you all deal with in the winter but I hope this winter isn't super cool. Also, glad to hear the baby and mom are doing well. I know you all are enjoying this new family member, mr. alex!

Anne- Glad to see you. I have a crock pot and have never used it!!! I would like to try but gotta look up some recipes. I don't even know what to do!

Jana- I love drawing and using the colored pencils is cool. But I look forward to trying other things. My mom uses colored chalks and it works great for her. So maybe I will try it, too.

Kelly, you said your AG paper came. I can't figure out what the AG stands for. I think it's cool that your mom is an artist and you are just now finding out how much artistic talent you have. Have you ever tried colored chalks? My neighbor does gorgeous work with colored pencils and her DH uses chalk.

Hooray, I actually scrapped today. It is a scraplift (yes, I nearly always scraplift or use a sketch.) I used my mists for the first time, and misted the title letters which were white. Do you know how hard it was to leave the elements slanted? I think I straightened them up about 10 times, but made myself leave them. Do you think I'm a bit rigid???? This is Angie's little Sammie. It's hard to read the journaling, but it says, "Samantha is growing up so fast. It's hard to imagine her going to school this year. She's her grandma's sweetie."

Sam @ 5

And since I'm in the mood, I may ignore my house cleaning today and scrap the rest of this rainy afternoon.
Have a great weekend, Pokeys!

My Friday has been a little quiet. After a very crazy week it is nice to just relax. (Well trying to relax!) Here are some cards I finished up and were made for the ladies high tea event I have donated to the last past years. High Tea Cards

Also, I posted on my blog more info about these events I have given to. Take a peek! My Blog

Nylene- AG is for Anna Griffin. I saw her on HSN a few months ago selling her new pp and other stuff. I was so glad to finally get it. Soooo much pp. I have 20 different designs with 4 sheets each. WOW! I may have enough for a few Christmases! Also, your lo is so adorable. I just love it. Glad you are having fun and skipping the house work. I haven't tried the chalks yet but my mom uses them. I hope to try along with paints and even pastels. So fun!

Waving hey to all you other sweet peas!!!!

Good morning Peas! Stopped by to check up on the news over here in our little corner of the world and saw that there has been some scrapping going on. I try to keep up with all the postings but do not always have much to say-WHAT??? I said that?????? I have been trying to do a few things around my house this past week-like moving the clothes around. I hate that job but with the change of seasons I definitely need my warmer clothes!

Nylene-so glad to see you found sometime and someone to scrap with. I can't believe how much Sammie has grown! She is so cute! I am taking a class at Creative Passions by Jana Morton called Blending & Beyond. She is so good at blending photos, and we will also learn to do extractions, and the "spilling over technique-where parts of a photo appear to be spilling put over the frame. I am learning so many new techniques in PSE9, and scrapbooking design. Here's a link to Jana's gallery at DD's! Jana Morton's gallery I hope to do my page this weekend and will post it here!

Kelly-your drawing is improving everytime I see it! I am so glad you are working on more facets of your creativity. Have you tried working with the water soluble oil pastels? You can blend them with water and they look like watercolors. You can get them at Staples in the kids art section and they are very inexpensive. Crayola makes this kit- Water-soluble oil pastels Make sure you get the water-soluble ones.

Angie-You are such a busy mom so I know finding time to scrap is slim but you have been doing such great pages! I know you can't wait to hug that sweet new nephew of yours.

BTW how is the new addition to the family doing Nylene? And how is MOM?

Jessie-hope your move goes smoothly and that you make it "HOME" in short order. I am sure you will make new friends and will fit right in short order!

Jana-I am going to try to visit your area someday and we will have to plan on meeting at SG for some scrapping fun! Glad you are getting some help at work-it is so hard when you are short handed to give the level of care you want when you are so busy.

A big HI and "we miss you" to alll the Peas I have not addressed individually! We hope to see you all soon!

Hugs, Cindy

Hey Scrapincin,

I try to keep up with all the postings but do not always have much to say-WHAT??? I said that??????

What have you done with our Cindy??? Do you realize that this thread had never reached 2 pages until after you joined? We love your chattiness and hope it comes back as you heal!
That gallery is wonderful. You are so ambitious. I wish you lived closer and I'd make you spend a few hours a week helping me with digi.
BTW, I'm posting b-days at Calendar Girls and have to go back to your instructions years ago to use imageshack to post the birthday clip art. I seem to get less computer savvy all the time!

I loved reading your blog, Kelly. You are going to develop quite a name for yourself. I love that you donate some of your beautiful cards.

Mom and new baby are doing great. I can't seem to stay away. He's such a good baby and I need to get all my snuggles in before Angie comes and takes him over!!! She's informed the whole family that over Thanksgiving he's all hers.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Good Monday morning to the Pokey's! Stoppped by to post my digital layout and my first attempt at blending photos! Not bad for my first try. Hopefully I will improve! Had a quiet weekend-watched the grands for a couple hours Saturday-Bobby had croup. Poor guy! It did not seem to be bothering him much though. He gets it honest as I dealt with Becky's croup for 12 years!
A big "Hi" to everyone-need to get a few things done around here.

Precious Moments

Cindy, I always love to see your smiling face pop up! I love that layout. You are becoming the Queen of Scrap Techniques! Love what you have done with those photos.

I have finished my 3rd and 4th layout this month. I think this is a first for me in many months. I get my scraproom all cleaned up and I can't stop myself from sitting down to scrap...and the room looks like a tornado hit it again. If I just left it messy, I'd never scrap...cause I wouldn't be able to find an inch to work. It doesn't help that I keep all my Cub Scout stuff in the same room!

Alex will be blessed at Church next Sunday and then we'll have a luncheon at our home. Em's MIL and Grand MIL will be coming from Michigan. That means I have a lot of cleaning to do. I may just close the door to the scraproom! We need to be sure to get a 4-generation photo while they are here.

Here is my double pager.

Hope you are all enjoying the Fall weather. I hate to see the winter come.

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was ok. The weather has warmed up again. It is to be in the high 80's and 90's. Right when I was wanting to cook more. Well, hope it cools down soon. I am so ready for Fall! I shared more of my art on my blog. Still having fun! More Art

Cindy- That lo is so good! Keep going girl! Your digi skills are so great! Thanks for the pastel link. I checked it out and hope to try them. I have the oils but want to try these.

Nylene- Thanks! I am so amazed at all this art flowing out of me. It has been fun and great medicine for me.

Happy Thursday! Hey, I love the new look of our Two Peas site don't you? So nice to come to a new surprise today. My day is moving along slowly but hope to enjoy myself today. I made a bday card for that wonderful gospel star Vickie and was so excited to send it to her. I will post pics of it. I loved adding pics and the text all together like I did my mil's card. So today is Vickie bday and on Twitter she is getting lots of well wishes. Hope she got my card, too.

Waving hi to all of you busy ladies! Take care!

Waves, everyone.

I agree with Kelly, I like the new look of the website. But today I wanted to bookmark a member and I can't figure out how to do it now. It still lets me bookmark individual projects. I just don't see a "bookmark member" option anymore. Am I missing it? Can anyone help?

I'm sewing like crazy today because our church scheduled the annual Halloween party for tomorrow! (Yes, that's 11 days before Halloween!) On the bright side, at least the costumes will be done and the kids can enjoy them a little longer.

Mom, thanks for having Dad call Drew. And thanks for the potty training pep talk. Drew wasn't very animated since he was still kind of hurting. Poor kid needs to learn to poop more often! But seeing Grandpa right then was a nice reward and hearing his encouragement helped, I'm sure.

Back to the sewing machine.
Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Angie, I can't find a place to bookmark the member either. Hopefully they will come up with a fix for that soon.

Sorry you are stressed getting the sewing done. I finished Em's quilt last night. Today I got 2 receiving blankets ready to be hemstitched so I can crochet an edge for little Alex. Should have been cleaning since my floors still need to get done before our Luncheon on Sunday. (So here I am PEAing!)

The white/white on the new site is really hard on my eyes. I can hardly read titles of the the gray threads that have been previously opened. Looks like something is wrong with my monitor. Light gray is hard on the eyes against the white. Of course that could be due to my "elderly eyes"!

Waving to everyone. I'll be back to chat on Monday. Hugs

Hi Ladies! Hope you are all enjoying a great weekend! I had a busy one. I cooked a birthday dinner for Kellie yesterday so had the entire crew here for that. She requested vegetable soup so that is what I made her. Also her favorite chocolate cake. It was good time! Sounds like all of you are keeping busy! I scrapped my page for my digital blending class today so I am posting it to share with all you girls! Will check back tomorrow to see if anyone has stopped by! Waving a big HI to all of you!

Angie, you need to come Mount Vernon, MO in the fall when they have Apple Butter makin' days. I have never been to the festival but I do love apple butter!

Nylene, they have hired a couple of nurses. They won't get trained in time for the busy season though. I am afraid on of them isn't going to be able to keep up with the busy med-surg pace. We will have to see how that goes. I hope flu season isn't that bad. I still need my flu shot but have been sick. Hopefully this week I can get it.

Kelly, good luck to your DH with his job. Is pastels similar to chalks? The lady I have taken drawing classes with also teaches a pastels class.

Cindy, I hope you are able to make to this area someday! That would be great to meet up and hang out at SG!

I have been ill with a sinus cold but feeling much better. I am looking forward to next weekend when I get to go to Branson and crop with some friends! I need to get my stuff together. I only work 2 days this week and then I get a break! I am ready!

Yesterday was Pets & Pumpkins and I dressed Phoebe up as a leopard. Then my sister, nieces and I went to a haunted maze called "Field of Screams". People dressed up would jump out of the corn. It was a lot of fun!! My nieces kept hanging on to my sister and I!

I was shocked when I logged in and things looked different. I am getting used to it but not sure where everything is yet. I haven't tried bookmarking anyone since the change.

I hope everyone is doing good!

I figured out how to bookmark an individual. You go to their public profile and to the left, you can select from the list to bookmark them.

Thank you, Jana, for figuring out the member bookmark! I got it!

Well, I was sewing up until an hour before the Halloween party last Saturday but I made it! The kids had a lot of fun and I'm glad that the hard part of Halloween is over.

Maybe later this week I'll get back to scrappin.

Hello all!

I am really having trouble with this new website. I can hardly see the light gray letters as I type them. I know my eyes are getting bad, but this is ridiculous!

Jana, your Pet and Pumpkins with your Phoebe sounds like fun. I'm glad you are going to get a chance to scrap soon. Be sure to post your layouts. Hope your cold gets better before you go so you aren't miserable. A break from work will be nice!

Cindy, you are becoming the little artist with all your digi techniques. Why don't you move next door to me. There's a silhouette file I'd love to have and I would make you cut it for me! Wouldn't we have lots of fun together? Tell Kellie Happy Birthday from me. How's she doing?

Angie, I love the photo you sent of the kids in their costumes. Take lots more and include you and DH in them too. The blessing of Alex went well yesterday and we had a houseful for lunch afterward. The kids had so much fun all playing together and Tyler cleaned up the kitchen and emptied the garbage without being asked. He's such a great young man.

Kelly, I hope you scanned or photographed your special card before you sent it. We are waiting....(standing with foot tapping!!!)

I need to get off. I get a real headache after being on this site very long. I hope I don't have to give it up altogether.

Hello, Pokey Peas! I have scanned through the posts to try and catch up a little. My life is still very hectic. However, I have a brand new neice (3 weeks old)! I love the pics of your new grandson, Nylene! He is so cute! Congratulations!

I will pop back in when I have pics/a lo of my new neice.

Waving hi to everyone! I sure miss having the time to "chat" with you gals!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hey SweetPeas! I hope this day has been good for you all. I am working on Christmas cards. I was so surprised when I went to M's they didn't have red or dark green 1 1/2 inch ribbon. So I hope to find it at another location. we even have HL now. They just opened last weekend and I can't wait to go.

Here is the bday card I made for gospel singer Vickie. She received the card and took pics of it to post on Twitter for all her followers to see! It makes me so happy to know my card lifted her spirit! I was so excited! That made my day! Please forgive the night time photography. Vickies Card Also, in the card, I wrote a poem. I haven't written very much but she is so inspiring to me that it was fun and easy to write something special to make her smile.

Nylene- What are you working on these day? Sewing, scout crafts, cooking? You know you are our Martha Stewart!

Cindy- Tell Kelly happy belated birthday! That soup sounds so yummy. I know she loved that you cooked it special for her. You are such a good mommy!

Jana- Did you go to Branson yet? I know you will have a fantastic time scrapping and chatting!

Amy- Good to see you! Congrats on your new addition. So sweet!

Angie- So glad to hear the sewing was finished on time. What costumes did you make?

Amy, it was so good to see your profile picture of your children pop up. I know how busy you are and we love getting even a moment of your time. I love your sweet layouts. You have such beautiful children. I hope you are not wearing yourself out and are getting a little time for yourself occasionally.

Kelly, I love that card. You are so thoughtful. I'm sure she appreciated it. I'd like to know how you make your bows so perfectly!

I thought I'd try this "new website" again today, but I can see that I can't spend more than a few minutes on it without eyestrain. Maybe my visits will be shorter...which would probably give me more time to actually scrap!

I have company here from Oregon (Dh's sis and bil for a couple of days) so I'd better go get some lunch started. Have a nice day, everyone.

I'm missing some of our regulars! Come out, come out, wherever you are!

Good morning Peas! Hope you are having a great weekend! End of October already and we are still on page one! I guess I am going to have to get more chatty! LOL! Yesterday we had Trick or Treat so I have some fun pics to scrap-paper scrap. I have been doing anohter digi and it took a while to find the right pic for it to come out right. I feel like I have been working for days on this weeks class. LOL I think paper scrapping is much easier!

Nylene-so sorry about your eyes-at least it seems they have put two shades of gray where the messages are posted, but like this page seems very bright white If they would just go to a shade of cream I am sure it would help a lot of people. The brightness is harsh.

Well a big hi to everyone as I don't have a lot to talk about this morning! Maybe I will come back later and be more chatty! LOL!!!

Here's my digi layout-I am going to clean up my scrap table and paper scrap today-it's cold and raining here today.

A walk in the Park

Momday Monday! Hope you are having a great start to your week! We are having cold wet weather and waiting for the winds that we are going to get from Sandy! I hope everyone on the eastern part of country stay safe, warm and dry! Here's a layout I did yesterday-a traditonal paper page! I have not done too many of these since my surgery and these classes I have been taking but hopefully will be doing more as I feel better and have the time! LOL

Trick or Treat!

I got these right off of my camera and scrapped it ASAP as I was so wanting to do a paper page! Less stressful!

Hi, Pokeys!
I'm sure many of you are in the processing of getting your little trick-or-treaters ready for the evenings adventures. Here's wishing each of you and your families a HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

I am going to try to get the November thread...can it already be Nov???...posted later tonight. I'll put a link from this thread to the new one and will try to get it in the right forum this month.

Cindy, you have really been moving along in your classes. I can see that the digi would take a lot of time when you do so much manipulation with your photos and elements. I love what you are doing though! I'll bet Bob is really proud of you.

I find I can read the forums better with the grayed background they added in every other post in the forums. But the pale gray as I type a comment is terrible. It's hard to see what I'm typing. I just don't understand all the "white space" on a site that sells bright and colorful paper. I hope I get used to this.

I'll be back later.
