I'd really love a BMX X6 - but I couldn't get one right now. Maybe after I get a car for my daughter.

If I had to replace my car I would get another Honda Crosstour. I've had mine about 18 months and I LOVE it.

I'm buying a Prius V next!

My husband wants that little Lexus hybrid. He technically gets the next new car in the family, since I got the last one. But I think he wants me to have the Prius, and he'll take my Accord.

We bought a new Honda Civic on the weekend. It's a second car for us and third Honda product. I love my Honda's, follow the warranty maintenance and you never have a problem.

I am not in the market for a car (and won't be for at least another 4 years), but a girl can dream.

I would either get a Subaru Outback (practical, sporty, kind of quirky, and fun)

or...

an Acura TSX sedan. That's more $$ than we typically spend on cars, but maybe in 4+ years, who knows?

Just bought a new 2012 GMC Terrain last week. I took it on a road trip this weekend -- 22/32 mpg. I absolutely LOVE it and all its high-tech toys!! It replaces my 2003 Envoy.

Well, we just did that. We bought a Subaru Outback. LOVE it. Wanted a roomy 5 person car with plenty of cargo space. Wanted a roomy backseat for 3 teenagers. Wanted good gas mileage. Wanted a car, not an SUV feel. Got it!

I bought myself a new Jaguar for my birthday this year and when people ask me how I like it, I always tell them that if something happened to it, I would buy one again. I LOVE MY CAR! I have always had practical or parental vehicles and this is just a wonderful present to myself to celebrate a nearly empty nest!!

I just bought a new Dodge Durango Citadel in April. Her name is Daisy and I love her. But, she only gets 14mpg, so it's not economical.

I love how it drives, how safe I feel in it and there is plenty of room.

I'd replace my 1999 CRV with a 2012 CRV. I love this car so much...it's really perfect for me, but it's definitely starting to show it's age.

But, I'm really loving the Hyundai Veloster. Too cute!

My co-worker has one and loves it! They are really cute.

I have a few friends that have Hyundai's and really like them. Hyundai has some great looking cars right now, same with Kia.

DH & I were just discussing this today. It would be a Shelby GT 500. The biggest thing stopping us is that I want an automatic transmission which the Shelby doesn't have nor would it be practical to have. That's what stopped us from going to the dealership today.

The new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee S something. It's beautiful.

But it's also $61,000+ and I just can't seem to spend that much on one car. It seems so crazy ...frivolous.

I'd buy a new VW Beetle! My DH is planning to buy a Dodge Dart next spring/summer.

I did however, recently buy a 2005 Jeep Liberty (only 54,000 miles on it and I love it!! I needed something big enough for the dogs and son and a Beetle just didn't cut it.

I want my BMW7 series back. Freaking economy, it was my work car. totally a luxury but damn it was nice. I have a Lexus now which I have no complaints about.

My friend just bought an Explorer, I have to say its pretty nice. I'd consider it if I was paying.

You have a couple of children, correct? I would look into the Chevy Equinox. Great value and tremendous options. Gets great gas mileage too.

If I could have a work car and play car, I would update my BMW X3 to the latest model with ALL the bells and whistles to drive to work and then I would buy a Kia Soul for running around town with the windows down.

I really want a BMW 328i, but will probably go with Nissan, Honda, or Toyota. Recently drove a 2012 Ford Fusion (also one that had been on my "to test" list) and it felt way too small (and I currently have a 12 y/o Civic so the Focus shouldn't have felt small!) So I have no idea what to do! I'm hoping I'll like the new Corolla but we haven't gotten to see a 2013 yet...

I think DH is getting the next new car, so I don't have a lot of input.

IMO...I almost don't care what I get as long as it only seats 4 people. It can have 4 doors...but I want small.

I'm tired of driving a bus. I've driven a bus since 1994 and I am done.

If DH gets a new car, I think the plan is for me to drive his old car (Acura MDX) and give college DD my car.

Not really sure I'm down with that plan though.

I like the Honda CRV for a new car but if I could have any I'd chose either an el Camino or an eighties Volvo station wagon

I really love my Ford Edge - if I had to buy a new car tomorrow, I would probably get a new Edge - but I also like the look of the new Explorer, and would probably consider it, too.

When I bought my Edge (2 years ago), I also looked at the GMC Terrain. The Terrain was brand new on the market and there wasn't a lot of availability at the time - there also weren't any deals to be had. I would probably look at the Terrain again, too, as I really liked it.

If money were no object we love the GMC Acadia. I like the decked out one that my parents have with the heads up display. More realistically I think we'll get the Traverse. We're not in the market for a new car for a few years yet. I'm still loving my Jeep Commander. Just wishing it got better gas mileage.

I drive a BMW 328i that is five years' old. It looks and drives like it is brand new. I'm going to keep it another five years or so and then buy a new one. I love my car, but it wouldn't have been very practical back when I was hauling kids all over town.

I would get a Volvo C70 hard top convertible. I just had one as a rental and i LOVED it!

That's what I want. We have a s80 that we've had for almost 5 years now, and we love it and plan to drive it until it just dies on us.

I've been having medical issues that have kept me from driving, but I'm doing a lot better and will be needing a car in the next 6 months or so. I really want the Volvo convertible--it's only the two of us since I couldn't have children. It would be so much fun to have such an awesome car to drive around in.

My husband's company has a program that gives a monetary incentive to buy a hybrid or electric car. They also have special parking and even electric charge stations. Dh says he'd like the Chevy Volt, but I've not been impressed with Chevy's quality. I think a Prius would be better, although finding a hybrid convertible would be absolutely perfect.

VW Jetta.

With 4 kids, that is not in the cards for me at all, with 3 carseats, a booster and a double stroller in tow, but if that was not an issue, a Volkswagon is the first thing that comes to mind.

This is the car I had in college and you can literally run them into the ground. Great gas mileage, economical (new or used), peppy and if you have a stick, amazing in the snow.

The mid-life crisis, cost is not an issue, nor is practicality choice: a BMW Z-3.

new (or newer) honda odyssey or toyota sienna. with some bells and whistles!

never thought i'd drive a van. never wanted a van. researched all options for life with 3 kids and no van. you know what, right now the van just makes sense.

but DH has commandeered it so i am driving a crappy 4 door that gives me a heart attack everytime we pull into a parking lot, screaming "don't open the door!!!!!" to the kids cuz i know they will take out the car door next to us!

i miss my van.
