I have three ATG guns...love them...clearly. But sometimes I like to use small tape runners when making cards or gluing tiny pieces.

I currently have a glue glider pro - not quite small enough, and I don't love the adhesive
and a Plus adhesive pen - love the narrow width, and the stick of the glue, but the refills have been hit or miss.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I've been using the tombo mono ones. I get the refills for $1.97 each at an online office supply place. Way cheaper than other places I've seen.

a hesistant vote for the Tombow blue dots refills.

I was hoping to see some new brands here that I could try. I get refills from Penwa.

I used to use Tombow - I still have my dispenser, but I had problems with photos falling off pages over time, same with my Duck runner. Did they improve the Tombow formula?

Personally, my go-to for small things is Scor tape.
And, it's great for heavier bling, etc also.
I use 1/8", 1/4", & 1/2"

I used to use the duck, but haven't seen it in a while.

I'm a die hard 3L Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner.

I buy them by the 2 pack. Here in Canada, it is cheaper than buying the Glue Glider refills. It's all I use and have used for many, many years. I've never had a problem with anything falling off my pages.

MyStik as well. Everything with tombow has fallen off.

I found a 2-pack of tape runners at Staples for $7.00. They aren't refillable but worked great. I just bought some more last week.

I'm not sure how small you want but there is one by xyron and Teresa Collins (it's called the Theresa Collins Megarunner) and it's very popular in my store. It's like a mini-atg. Here's a picture:

I use the mystik also. I have been getting the refills at Hobby Lobby using a 40% coupon but you can only do 1 at a time then. Anyone have a cheap place to get these?

I love the pack from Staples that a previous poster mentioned.....and it's easy to find! Use both the permanent (blue dispenser) and temperary (yellow dispenser).

MyStik YES! Recently converted from the EZRunner, of which I've probably used hundreds. I think they are both by 3L, but the EZRunner is not refillable, and the MyStik is. I really like how the MyStik folds out to make a "handle". Archivers' has 3-packs of teh refills which makes a great use of a coupon.

I do use Tombow on cards sometimes...but in my experience, the stick never lasts over a year so not for me on SB pages.

Just looked up my order from April, I guess I actually only paid $1.67 for each and I ordered 50 to get free shipping.

I've started using glue dots to hold my photos on, as I like the sticky adhesive for photos. The mono works great on paper. They did change the formula a little bit and it seems stickier to me. I still like them and haven't had any issues.

HERE is the link for the item.

I must be in the minority but I LOVE creative memories tape runner. I have used just about everything at one point or another and thought I was going to move to the Tombow but I started having issues with stuff falling off my pages (and I'm not a lumpy and bumpy scrapper). I love my atg but for smaller items I'm a CM girl all the way. They changed their tape and dispenser last year and now I love it even more since they have vellum runner refills also.

I just tried out the new CM tape runner at a retreat a couple of weeks ago, and promptly bought one and several refills - and this is from the person who threw away several of the old ones in disgust! It has a nifty drop-in refill that is SO much better than the old winding one, and runs so much more smoothly!

I love the Tombow diamond dot -- it's different than the smooth Tombow tape -- never pulls out or messes up, and adheres great.

You're not alone. I have tried every other brand out there and I keep coming back to the CM tape runner. Love the new style.

I really love the CM mini-tape runner for those small items like narrow titles cut with a Cricut or similar. They are getting harder to come by since being discontinued but I try to get them whenever I can.
