the site looks so "grown up" now! I'm having a hard time seeing the different sections with all the white, but I'm sure it'll be like any change - a little time and I will forget what the other set up looked like.

Had a doctor's appt today - never fun, but did find out that there's nothing to worry about - I measured big at last OB appt so I had an ultrasound today to check fluid and baby size and all that.

@Elizabeth - let me know if the attached file I emailed to your gmail acct went through okay. I've never tried to attach anything that large and I hope you are able to open it and enjoy it!

Nicole: it did thanks. Glad to hear doctor visit went well. When are you due again? All this white is hard on my eyes. I do love how grown up and clean it looks, but if they could turn down the white a little it will help.

Just me and the girls this weekend so not sure how much scrapping I will get done, but I hope to at least do my layout from the close to my heart book. Been trying to do a spread a week and if I have enough time do two (one for each of the girls album), but the week is closing in and I haven't even looked to see which layout I wanted to do. Guess I can do that while I watch a show on Netflix.

How is everyone else doing? Been kind of silent around here on the thread. Hopefully before the month is over you gals get a break in your busy schedules to chat a little. Hope all is well. Have a good night!

Wow, the site is way different! I actually like it... much cleaner & more organized. It's just a matter of getting used to where everything is.

So I talked to my endocrinologist's nurse on the phone today & she sent me to have labs done. I'm hoping that shows something & I have answers soon!

Woah... it's so white! I thought my page just wasn't loading correctly.

And Rach, I'm glad to hear you're at least sad to go back to work early, my mom does payroll for radiologists and one wants to be back at work full time and she's only had her baby for a month. She's more concerned about the money then the baby... terrible

Ooh, ooh, I am loving the new look. At first it was a little too bright to me, but that was because I am so darn used to the old look, but honestly it seemed so dated too me. I'm really into this trendy new style, and I'm very glad that Two Peas jumped on board with modern, minimatlist, and mint loving it.

Ok so I shouldn't be lurking or posting right now as I still have 4 chapters to read before my exam this weekend, but at least I'm done with all the power point lessons. There were 16 of them, ugh!!

I WILL stay on top of my schoolwork for now on.

Monica - Sorry that you are still feeling cruddy... my family has gone through similar issues and the ENDO was the one who diagnosed a lot of their issues, so hopefully you'll get some news that you can work with.

Just got my new CTK in the mail today, ooh yum can't wait to play. Trina asked me to do a blog post for her little CTK blog later this month, so I am really excited to help out!

I hate seeing, negative, ranty type stuff on the boards. I really love the cheerfulness and enabling of the Pea MB -- I was just reading on another thread about stuff, and I just kept thinking.. who cares? Just get over it. lol.

What else is going on tonight...

Also back to Rachel - I went back to work when Sawyer was 8 weeks. I continue still to pump 2 times a day at work, and I feed him during my lunch hour usually. I wish I had more PAID time off for sure. I only had 4 weeks of time saved up, so I missed a few full paychecks when I returned back to work. We are still dealing with playing catch up financially while paying for extra childcare costs. Oh well...

Things will work out... good luck on the promotion. A lady just up and quit in our office yesterday so I am hoping to take her job. HOPING - I did my interview yesterday for another department on campus, and I DO NOT want to be a personal assistant. Honestly I want my personal time to be for me and my family, not having to always think about work, be attached to my phone or computer for work 24/7 so NOT my style.

Sorry for the long post, caffeine pills are AMAZING for me to stay up late and have energy.

Christina: I would only go back part time of we could afford it. I do need to get out of the house or I will go insane...but I don't want to leave her at all. Luckily, my mom is going to keep her and my grandparents can help out too. I wish my in laws lived closer and could retire. We would never want for sitters then!!

Anyone planning special Christmas projects? I won a line of my choosing from LilyBee and I chose their Christmas line. <3
Now I just need to decide if I will just scrap in Millie's baby book with it or if I will have time for another project too.

I agree. For the most part I like the changes - I think I'll post my qualms in one of the gripe threads. haha

So who is scrapping!? My mom is addicted now. She's scrapping without me! Some of us have to keep a house and take care of children! haha. We should have a virtual crop before Rach goes back to work. What do you say? If Monica is feeling up to it?

Rach, I bet it is so, so hard to go back to work. What speech do you want to hear? I think I can support both sides.

So I think I've determined that a big part of my problem is a sinus infection. I woke up this morning with a major headache, my head feeling like it is going to explode, sinus pressure, and vertigo. I am going to make an appointment with my regular doctor to have it checked out. I did take some Mucinex, Tylenol, and inhaled steam and I feel a bit better. I really wanna scrap tonight so hopefully I feel better by then!

Rach- So you are definitely going back to work part time or that's just what you would like to do? That is really nice that you have help from your mom and grandparents - more than a lot of people do! I agree that maternity leave in the U.S. sucks though!! As far as Christmas projects, all I have planned right now is a December Daily. I am just going to use the album I made last year because I never ended up doing anything with it! I can't decide on a line to use, though - I'm debating between SC, Crate, and Pink Paislee.

Melissa- Working til 2am? Dang girl! Hope you got some sleep!

Gabrielle- I've been terrible about keeping up with chatter so maybe you've already said, but what are you studying in school? I so want to go back to get my bachelors in accounting, but otherwise I don't miss all the homework and studying and exams!

Nicole- Good to hear that your appointment went well and you got good news! How far along are you?

Loni- LOL, that's funny what you said about your mom scrapping. Just think, though - your mom had to go through years of child rearing and household duties I'm only 27 and I already can't wait until I retire!!

Oy, I just aged myself... I'm actually turning 27 in one month. Eeek! So far, I have absolutely no plans for my birthday and not sure I really feel like doing much. My mom said she wants to take me out to a nice dinner, though, which is sweet!

@Monica - I just finished my BA in Sociology last spring, and I started working on my MS this past August. My major is Educational Psychology concentration in Family Studies. If I wasn't working on my Master's right now I'd probably we working on a second Bachelor's degree with a teaching certification attached. Maybe in French or Social Science. I love Social Sciences, love languages, and I love learning
LOL > I'll be a forever student pretty much.

Holiday projects, well I ordered a December Daily kit from CTK, and I think I'm going to use it with my PL rather than putting together an entire December Daily. I'm just going to try to scrap it as it is happening for the most part within my PL.

I am 28 weeks and so over being pregnant this time around. Seemed like I wasn't this tired and uncomfortable with my first.

Today is my 10th wedding anniversary and we decided to just go eat dinner at a local mexi place. We both weren't in the mood to get a sitter, do the whole wine and dine thing. We will probably just wait and do something special after baby arrives and Momma can drink!

My mom got me to get out of the house and go to our favorite vintage shop... it was fun! I got a vintage letter sorter for my scrap desk.

Gabrielle- wow, lots of schooling! Good for you! I'm with you - been in school forever. I started out in accounting, then switched to elementary education in my sophomore year. I would have my BA in elementary ed if I had turned in the portfolio, but I had a change of heart and am now back in accounting. I graduated in May with an associates, but I'd really like to get my bachelors if I can figure out financial aid.

oh, what is CTK? I'm guessing a kit club?

Rachel- Bummer about having to go back full time. It will be hard to be away from Millie! I'm hoping to feel up to scrapping tonight, too. Maybe we should use the chatroom!

Nicole- aww, hope the rest of your pregnancy goes by fast! Happy anniversary! Good plan to wait for a big celebration when you can drink

Loni: lol your mom is truly hooked. That's good because it's fun, creative outlet, memory keeper and it keeps her busy. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I did my scrapping for the day and did my layout for the week using CTMH book. I had so much fun and didn't even realize I completed 7 layouts in only a couple of hours using my scraps. If the girls go to bed on time I can finish up my mini album while watching Netflix.

@monica- thanks. I feel ya with school. Bachelors is the way to go. Do you file as independent; if so you may qualify for some grants if you are in the low-income. That could help. Also if all else fails you'll probably qualify for some type of loan. Look for jobs at your local university. They may provide some type or discount or tuition assistance for full time employees plus benefits. I work as an admin and I've been with my university (employed) since 2008. That is how my hubs and I pay for school tuition discount, scholarships, and loans. Go back to school if you can better to go part time than no time st all is my motto. CTK citrus twist kits, I just found them a few months ago and I've been very happy

Morning sunshines!
I'm feeling better today than I have the last few days, so I'm going to make the most of it! And it's beautiful outside, so that's always a perk. I'm going to scrap most of the day/evening, but I do have a Scentsy party tonight and hope to use my J's 60% off coupon.

I finally got around to uploading the first few layouts from my hotel crop. Be warned that you will see a lot of Oregon pages for a while!

I got good news today I won 2 stamp sets from studio calico. I also got one box of pictures sorted and put into the pocket dividers. I picked the 2 or 3 that would go on a page put the best others in pockets. I had a stack probably over 200 photos that were discards. That was pre digital for me lol. So Many discards.

Right now I'm watching Football!!! It's a disease down here and you have to pick a side haha. Currently we are playing one of our most hated teams I really want to make a Walmart run for more drawers. I need to expand my stamp and embellishment storage. It kinda none existent at this point so my stamps and stuff are stuck everywhere. So it's game or organizing. Hmm still in the first half. Could go now. Wouldn't take long. Everybody is watching the game. Anyways I'm sure I'll be in the chat room later.

@rach I agree U.S. maternity leave sucks. I've never had a baby but you don't get paid for most of that time.

@monica hope you feel better.

Back... Anyone on chat tonight?

Monica, since my new second job is a group home for youth, shifts can very. I usually won't be doing 2am/over night shifts lol

Christina, for sure next time... We have very little time and crammed so much in 4 days! I barely got in the Internet, only to check emails.

What y'all think about the new website? I like it... But missing the colourfulness!
Loving the new job, I am only casual so I am hoping I get a few shifts.

Been kinda quiet around here this weekend! Melissa, Steph, & I chatted in the chatroom tonight, though, which was fun!

I went to J's this afternoon and picked up some ATG adhesive with my 60% off coupon, plus some other scrap goodies on sale and a bunch of cheap Halloween activities to do with my cousin's kids next weekend! Then I went to a Scentsy party - the girl selling it I had worked with at the bank. She and I used to have the best time there! I sure miss that job & working with her. We spent some time catching up & promised to keep in touch & do more together. I love when old friendships are renewed

I've scrapped 2 layouts and a card today. I still have some energy left, so might crank one more out. I sure have a lot of uploading to catch up on!

Steph- I'm with you, love when weekends aren't jam packed with stuff! And, of course, scrapping beats just about all of it for me! LOL.

Melissa- I'm glad you like your new second job! I like the new website & new look. I've gotten used to the white - don't know why so many people are still complaining about it. I guess it would look good if they added more gray to the background of the posts.

Bethany- Awesome on winning the SC stamps! How did you do that?! Sounds like you had a productive day with your picture sorting!

My inlaws are visiting this weekend. I called for back up as I am not feeling well and Ry had to work this weekend. I think my incision has a bit of infection. I spoke with the midwife yesterday and have been cleaning and treating it at home and will call for an appointment first thing tomorrow. She said not to panic unless I develop a fever.

So I am in the craft room printing photos for Millie’s album while she is content with her grandparents.

Hello ladies!

Sorry i've bit a bit MIA. Work got busy, and so did life. I haven't scrapped since last weekend at the crop, but at the crop I did manage to get ALL my christmas cards made! I made 44 cards and my first 2 page LO! I'll post pictures sometime soon.

Rachel: That sucks about only having a maximum of 16 weeks off for mat leave. I know where I live we get a full year! As for the new LO, I like it but I do find some forums and whatnot are hard to read. I do however like how all the message board forum list is on the left side as well as the recent watchlist! And as for Christmas projects, I am going to make a DD! I finally got all my materials to make it, now I just have to start the base pages and wait till December!

Loni: I think a virtual crop would be awesome. Saturday nights work best for me!

Monica: Noticed you said you went to a Scentsy Party! Did you have fun? Do you own a Scentsy at all? I do, and LOVE mine.

Well ladies i'm off to have pizza and watch movies with my sister. My parents went down to the states this weekend, so she's been staying with me. I also went and got a new phone on Friday! I switched from a Blackberry Curve to a Samsung Galaxy S3! LOVING the new phone. So much more apps and better suited for what I want in a phone. Have you guys seen the Wish PIF Thread over on the For Sale or Trade board? I am thinking of participating in it at one time or another!

So quiet on here...

Monica, glad to see the LOs

Rachel, Millie looks like a happy baby and non-colicky... Are my observations correct

Going to be scrapping tomorrow and Wednesday probs all day. Planning to start making Xmas cards.

Speaking of Xmas, I forgot to answer regarding gifts. This year my family and I aren't exchanging big gifts. Instead we are going to "adopt" a family and provide gifts and turkey dinner for them.... I don't think Jonny and I are exchanging big gifts either since our trip will be around the corner

It has been quiet on here!
I've been around today... just didn't ever see the thread on page 1! Had my doctors appointment with a new primary care doc this afternoon, and that went pretty well. Pretty much determined that I need to see a dentist/oral surgeon ASAP. He seems like a good doctor, just kinda socially awkward. He reminds me of one of the guys from Big Bang Theory!

Melissa- I'll be scrapping a lot this week! Wanna have a scrap party tomorrow?

Lisa- This was my first time going to a Scentsy party or playing with their products. I've seen a catalog before, though. I love it! I just wish the warmers were cheaper. I got a plugin one to start with. Love the scents they have, though!

Rachel- Sorry you weren't feeling well this weekend I really hope your incision heals soon! An infection is no good.

Loni: How much snow do you have!?!? Is it still snowing?

I am hurting from my appointment yesterday. No infection, but my incision had opened up a bit and that had to be mended.

Ryan is off work for 2 days because he worked over the weekend.

Yawn! Didn't get much sleep.

Hello ladies! How is everyone? I have been scrapping and cleaning my house. Hubby came home last night from London and it felt good to have the house tidy.
I was able to finish my mini album and now all I need is pictures and a few more embellishments. Waiting to finish my Halloween one, but still waiting in my 2peas order.
Feeling a little sick today so not sure how much I'll be posting this week.
Have a good day everyone!

Ok Rachel, Why don't you and Ryan move here? Your parents and in-laws can come too. Let's make some snowmen! It quit snowing at about noon.

I have some catching up to do! But it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Elizabeth: Sorry you aren't feeling well!! Hope you are better soon.

Loni: I like that idea! We will all need jobs out there...so that might take some planning.

Millie doesn't want to do anything other than nurse. I wonder if she isn't feeling well...

Hiya folks,

Sorry I've been out of reach - last weekend I scrapped, studied, and took an exam. I did well on my interview last week, and I was asked back to interview today with the assistant VP (person I would be assisting). Seems like an interesting enough job, and goodness knows I need the extra money since I start paying on student loans next month I think, ugh.

There's always something going on right... I'm going to be featured next Monday on the Citrus Twist Kit blog, so I'm excited. I hope everything turns out alright. I'll post the pictures in the gallery after it's all said and done.

I got to pages scrapped as I was trying to do them in between nursing sessions, studying, and traveling to a local scrap store. There is a great one about 25 minutes from me, so that is GREAT!! I'm excited to have an LSS again that I can frequent from time to time.

I see that some of you ladies are feeling under the weather; I sure hope you get to feeling better. I'm sorry to hear about your incision Rachel. Millie is probably nursing a lot because she is going through a growth spurt. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and get enough calories to quench her appetite. Sawyer goes through that each weekend practically. I think he just likes nursing and wants to do it alot on the weekends since I'm not at home a lot during the daytime to feed him.

Well I'm off to work again, but I'll be checking back later

Melissa: So sweet that you are collecting winter clothes for the needy. Millie is actually sorta colicky. But I can photograph her and soothe her at the same time. Haha! She has the most dramatic mad faces and can really kick up the volume of her cries when she is mad.

I wanna scrap tonight, but I don't know that Millie will let me!

I'd like to get this week of her album started and maybe do a layout.

I may just get to hang out and chat though.

Gab: where is your LSS? I was looking when I was there and nothing. Very disappointed, but made the trip to Joann's and it cheered me up. You are a busy women and clearly doing a great job so keep it up.

Rachel: hope you heal fast too. Millie is probably going through a growth spurt and I second what Gabrielle said. Load up on the water! It helps.

Loni: snow already? Oh my must be fun for the kids. It's going to be a harsh winter for sure. Guess I really need to invest in a coat for hubby and I this year.

Melissa: so sweet of you to hand out clothes to the needy. I'm sure they greatly appreciate it. I have noticed all the new goodies in the shop and it's starting to become overwhelming. I would think a few of it will be around in March. I sure hope so anyway. Honestly at this point I am going to try to stick with buying adhesive only.

I'll probably join the chat as I work on finishing up another mini. Just need to do the covers, binding and embellish. I honestly love the Hello Summer by Echo Park and dreading having to cut it up, but I decided I would rather see it on a shelf filled with beautiful pictures and embellishments than in my paper rack. Chat with you ladies later on.

I don't think it's new just new to me. It is in Keller called Little Blue House. You can find them on their blog online. It's really sweet and quaint. We should plan a midweek meetup and go there for one of their "stash bash" classes.
