Phew! Finally got Millie to take a bottle. She was starved! I guess she is growing because I can't keep up with her milk needs. So. Finally in her co sleeper sleeping peacefully!! After 24 hours of holding her basically non stop, I don't know what to do!!

Rachel - Try eating a bowl of oatmeal in the morning (the kind that comes in the container) not the flavored instant packs, drink plenty of water (eliminate all caffeine - for a few days), and pump in the morning either before or after she nurses. Your body will produce more milk for her, but she will need to nurse often in order to let your body know that she needs more.
These things help for me. Also if you are desperate try making some Quinoa noodles or rice - this will really stimulate your milk production; also raw milk is a miracle for women who've had trouble nursing. Here is a link about it: Raw Milk - Nursing Mother of Twins
Stephanie: It is such a cute little shop - it is very little, but well decorated and well stocked for such a small place. I like that they ONLY carry brands that you don't find at big box stores. When I went in there they had October Afternoon, Lawn Fawn, Studio Calico, Buttonfarm, Lily Bee Design, Simple Stories, and a few other brands. They also have TONS of mists, inks, stamps, etc. The shop was really cute, and VERY worth the drive. There selection is nothing in comparis on to Two Peas, but it's great if you want to attend a class or just pick up a single sheet or two of you favorite papers. I bought a couple OA papers, a couple Studio Calico, and a couple Lawn Fawn. I also purchased like 4 sets of Thickers (full price too, lol) I never do that, but they were SO stinking cute!!
By the looks of their blog they may have received some new stuff since I was there this weekend... darn, guess I'll need to visit again a month. Little Blue House - Blog

It's snowing again! Actually, it's been coming down lightly but steadily all morning.
Rachel, It's so hard when you want to nurse but it won't work! Sometimes you have to supplement. I hope Gabrielle's tips work. How are you feeling today? Is your incision doing better?
Yay! I hope you can scrap with me. Your baby pics and PL ideas are keeping me motivated right now. I want to go back and see what else I can do with Baby G's album.
Melissa, Are you scrapping too?
I'm caught up on my blog reading, so after some organizing and printing I can get started.
Monica and any other ATG owners. I have a question about the tape roll. If that breaks is the rest of the roll wasted? I'm wondering if it's worth buying. I used to love those tape runners but they would break often and then the rest would be wasted!
QOTD: ANY ADHESIVE ADVISE?
Hey, that sounds like a Glitter Girl episode title. haha Should I ask the general board and see if she responds?

I can chat in the next 30 min or so - gotta put munchkin down for nap soon. I would LOVE to scrap sometime this week but I can't get my new printer to work. Anyone on here tech savy? I don't feel like waiting for hubs to get home and remember I asked yesterday for him to look at it. And I'm not usually a dumb-dumb when it comes to stuff like that so I feel like I'm missing a step or something.

Loni: I have been able to rig the ATG tape to work if it breaks. It happens rarely. I love my ATG and don't use anything else (lazy, cheap). Haha. I have a friend that buys me a year supply of ATG tape for my birthday each year. He is the one who bought the ATG for me several years ago!!!
I will be back in a bit and will hop on chat.

Loni - If the tape breaks, all I do is restart the roll.
I open up the case, pull out the discard, then I rethread the tape again, like if it were a brand new roll. You should be good after that. It's happened to me on occasion
Sorry I can't really chat with you gals while you're scrapping... I hate working. Why can't we all quit our jobs and just trade stuff, lol...
I want to open a scrap store, that way I can purchase, stock, and play all day long.

Going back to the doctor tomorrow for my incision and I will have her look at my throat. It is getting a bit scratchy.
Hoping to scrap some tomorrow night...anyone else?

hey girls!
It's been a nice, relaxing day for me. It turned cold today (in the 50's compared to 80 yesterday!), so perfect for staying in. I made Hungarian goulash (kinda like a beef stew you serve over egg noodles) in the crockpot and it has been smelling up the house all day! Smells sooo good!
I started a layout... hit a roadblock, and I've just been wasting time online.
I'll be in the chatroom tonight, though, if anyone wants to join me!
oh, if anyone else wants to be added to the Young Scrappers RAK list, please let me know! (See first post on this page).

Melissa: that will be an awesome costume!
At the doctor. My incision is still weeping, but showing no signs of infection. So she gave me some steri strips to keep it covered and said I'm not at risk for it opening more.
Also, got my flu shot today. Woo.

Hello ladies. Hubby went to Houston for the weekend yesterday so it's just me and the girls again. Plenty of time to scrap and clean I guess. Tonight is my monthly crop and trunk or treat. Hoping to get my stuff ready for that. I did finish working on my mini Halloween mini. Just got one page to complete, but plan on finishing it tonight using my cricut. Hobby lobby had their thickers 50% off so I got some really cute Amy Tangerine and Dear Lizzy ones among others.
Well I am going to get started cleaning and packing for tonight. Hope everyone has a fun weekend.

Look at the weather forecast for where my office is: Boone Weather. Down the mountain, we only have flurries in the forecast, but SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am concerned for others on the east coast, they are saying that this could be the storm of the century in some places, being part Nor’easter, part Hurricane, part Blizzard.
What are you all up to today?

Today we are going to visit with my parents and the in-laws. I'm hoping one of the LSS on the way will have some stuff I'm looking for. Will call them on our way up. We are also going to carve our pumpkin tonight!

Good morning!
I'm sitting in my pjs sipping an Oregon chai latte. It's going to be a pj + scrapping day today It turned out to be a pretty busy weekend. I hung out with my cousins on Friday - went to my cousin's daughter's school Halloween party, took the kids to get some popcorn after school, went to my old college's Fright Night (games, booths, & trick-or-treating through the dorms). After that, we got pizza & watched Halloween movies til pretty late. Yesterday, we all slept in (haha), then I stopped at Archivers to check out their sale and did some stuff around the house. Got invited to a Halloween party at the last minute & went to that with my friends. It was PACKED - not kidding, at least 100 people
I hope everyone in the path of the storm stays safe & sound.
oh, is there anyone else who would like to be added to the Young Scrappers RAK list?! Christmas is coming up - we all like to get Christmas cards in the mail I'll be sending the list out this week, so send me a peamail with your info.

Monica: What are you scrapping today??
I'm going to work on some things for a swap and then Millie's album for a bit. But first, a nap/rest!
Millie and I went to church today by ourselves. We are so blessed with a wonderful church family and Millie is quite popular there!! One of my friends held Millie so I could sing the anthem and take communion. She said she will hold her every Sunday till the end of time!

Monica, I saw your cards! They are so cute. I need to go look at those LOs you uploaded now . . .
Melissa, I hope you get feeling better and good thing you are safe. I'm glad the glue stick worked out with your eyebrows.
Rachel, Millie gets cuter every day! My little girl is such a stinker at church. She'll fight with her siblings and then turn around to the family behind us and grin like "Aren't I so cute! Don't you love me?" And they do! haha
I think I'm going to start and hopefully finish that scraplift. It's not too late to join me! Or are we all just too busy?
I accidentally invited people over to carve pumpkins without telling my husband. Wish me luck with him. He'll be fine, but really! I can't believe I forgot to tell him!!
