I use Shutterfly and have never had a problem. If you are interested in sharing (you mentioned email), you can make a "share site" where you import albums you have uploaded to their site, and you can send invitations to friends/family to view, then they can order pictures through their as well. I am constantly getting emails with coupons, and get a big enough batch at a time that I don't have to pay shipping.

Shutterfly. I'm very picky about color and they do a great job. If you're not in a hurry, upload and adjust (crop for 4x6 or whatever size you're printing), and then wait for one of their frequent sales! |

Costco, mostly, but also mpix. Both are great. Love that you can get different finishes on mpix (metallic, etc.) |

Shutterfly but I am not sure it is the best quality... I think from the site is good...
Really MISS scrapbookpictures.com... not sure if they shifted their inventory to Persnickety?
I was never notified they were going out of business..
Have heard great things about MPIX too... never tried them though. |

The great thing about scrapbookpictures.com was the 2x2 and 3x3 sizes... and also 4x4... Makes smaller pictures fit so well on a 12x12 page especially for GRID designs...
I do not see those sizes on MPIX... not sure if Persnickety has them...
I've done so many great layouts with these off size square sizes... |

I get them printed at WG, paying the less expensive rate for ordering online but still picking up at the store. I am not sure if you had googled "picture developing" if it wouldn't literally give you film developing, which Walgreens and most other places like it can do, but aren't needed if your camera does not have film. |

I use Shutterfly for cheaper prices and decent quality everyday photos.
I use MPIX or Adorama Pix for nicer and better quality prints. They are more expensive, but they are really good quality and have more variety of photo finishes. They also have someone who checks the color and brightness of each photo order to make sure they come out looking ok. |

How about 12x12 scrapbook layouts? Where is everyone getting those printed? I used scrapbookpictures.com before and loved them. So sad they went out of business. (I know that Costco does 12x12 pages, but I'm hoping for somewhere less expensive.)
I am making scrapbooks for my co-teachers at preschool. I'll be making books for 5 teachers covering a span of 6 years so I am trying to find the cheapest place. I am supplementing the 12x12 pages with divided page protectors filled with 4x6s to help lower the costs, but I know I'll have about 3-4 12x12 LOs per teacher per year. That's a lot of money!
Although I still haven't decided whether or not to scrap those 12x12 LOs by hand instead of digital, but that's a different problem for a different post!

I'm lucky enough to have a Costco near me. I upload my photos to their web site, then go pick them up the next day. They're affordable, and anytime something didn't print well, they have reprinted for me while I wait, without any extra charge. |

Another vote here for Persnickity prints! They have great shipping rates to Canada and love that their 12x12 print is only 1.99 (very affordable!). I love including enlargements in my albums, so the 12x12 is the way to go. I'll often collage multiple pics on one canvas (some enlarged, some instagram sized) and just cut them apart.
