Hello,
I've lately come to own, um, a few background stamps. I love them, and as per the usual, I use them as backgrounds. I also love stamping and embossing over die cuts to make them even more interesting.
I love the look of "kissed" stamps, but most of my non-background stamps are either small or have thin lines (so kissing would look like bad inking). What stamps do you love to "kiss" with?
List some uses of your background stamps.
Love,

I would definitely ask this on the Stamping Board too. They like to 'kiss & tell.'

When stamping backgrounds, I use Versamark ink. you have to wait for it to dry, but it gives a nice tone on tone look.

When I do the kissing technique, I usually use a background stamp that has a lace design, or one with a linen design. I usually "kiss" that to a bold (solid) floral stamp so you can see the design. Hope that helps!

This is the best explanation I have seen for Kissing. Really clear, lots of ideas, no need for tons of supplies.

TFS That's great. I didn't know such a thing existed. Maybe I should wander over to the stamping board from time to time.
