No, it's Al in the high altitudes or smokin' some of that medicinal weed.
Obama just wasn't on his game last night, but it doesn't mean he didn't score a few points. |

I knew there were reasons I didn't vote for Gore, & that just helps solidify why for me.
I am voting for President Obama, again, but he was compltely off last night. No way around it, & I have no problem saying it.
While I view debates as political sport, they haven't ever been a determaning factor for me. By the time they come around, I always know who I'm voting for. But I still watch, cause I'm a politcal junkie.
I will admit, thru my own drugged up haze (had some massive dental surgery yesterday), I did wonder for a minute if GWB had inhabited Obama's body. He acted so much like GWB in the first debate against Kerry in 2004, it was a little eerie to me.

So, by that reasoning, it should have affected Mitt Romney, as well? I guess he would have been super-duper exceptional last night had it been held on lower ground, then!

Me either....and I've already voted for the President, so the debates are a completely moot point with me.
He won't let it happen again. |

Actually Elenort, in the whole clip, you'd see Romney had been in Denver several days - so basically training at altitude - poor Obama only arrived at 2....

Maybe he'd been sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber for a few weeks leading up to the debate... Is that considered "doping" in politics |

Oh my heavens... this from the guy who invented the internet.
The only thing high altitude ever did to me is make me gassy - although, that could explain the mysterious rumbling sound that came from behind them. |

I think that Obama was off his game last night.
I do have to say that I was at a funeral in Colorado a few months ago, and was dreadfully sick from the altitude the entire time.
I felt miserable. |

Absolutely.
And people think Bush wasn't intelligent. Poor Gore... Just making himself look more ridiculous. |

So, Al Gore is saying Obama was too high for the debate, basically.
I wonder if Obama had, basically, like worn his totally platinum sparkly spandex jumpsuit, he would have gotten more points?
Maybe next debate?
Or maybe next debate, he could phone a friend.

I could see the altitude affecting him if he were running a half marathon, but debating?
Nixon was ill during the 1960 debate with Kennedy and lost the election in large part due to his appearance on television (radio audiences thought he won).
