I placed my first order with SSS last weekend, to stock up on some Jenni Bowlin reinkers (since 2peas doesn't carry them). I just got confirmation that the order shipped, so it took them 5 full business days to get my order in the mail. This seems really slow to me.

Is this normal for Simon Says Stamp? Or are they usually faster than this?

My order with them was really slow, also. But it was worth it, I got some things I couldn't find anywhere else.

I shop with them sometimes and yes their shipping is a little slow, but for the the price of shipping, I will not complain...very inexpensive for us Canadians!!

I've been shopping at Simon Says for a long time and I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say. I have never had a bad experience with them. However, I will say that it can take quite some time for my orders to arrive. I always attributed that to being in Canada and it generally takes a few weeks for anything to arrive!

A lot of companies stated 3-5 business days for shipping.

I them. I use them when I can't find something here and vice versa... They are an Ohio company so I get my things SUPER FAST from them. They probably got REAL busy during their STAMPtember promotions too.

I have found that several of my favorite online SB companies take that long to ship. It is annoying, since pretty much every other type of company I shop from ships within 1-2 business days.

That's normal for SSS. I order there all the time and it seems to take a while for them to get orders shipped.

Thank you for all of the responses so far! I'm not upset that they took so long to ship, I really just want to know what is normal and what to expect with future purchases. 2peas usually gets my orders out in 2 days, so I guess I'm just spoiled at this point.

Plus, I just really want all of my new goodies to get here so that I can play with them!

Honestly, most of the time I purchase online, the item ships the same day or the next morning (regardless of the speed of shipping). To wait 2-5 days for something to even leave the warehouse blows my mind. I'm spoiled by Amazon.

My orders usually take about 5 days. My card kit takes a little longer but I'm sure that has something to do with batch shipping.

My one and only order with them was lost in the mail, they sent it with delivery confirmation and it was not confirmed as delivered and they refused to replace the item. I had to file (and won) a paypal claim against them. Terrrible service for me - won't ever shop there again.

Yea it was crazy, I sent an e-mail showing them the tracking info with no delivery and they said too bad too sad it isn't our problem. It was my one and only order with them. It was just one set of $15 stamps too, it would have been much cheaper for them to just resend them. In the end I got my $15 plus shipping back. Terrible customer service IMO.

I have only ever had positive experiences shopping with them. They have been running a month long anniversary sale in which a discount (usually 20 was offered for one company a day. I would imagine that their volume of orders was very high during the entire month. I am also waiting for a couple of packages, but with the amazing discounts and the free shipping, it is well worth the wait (IMHO).
Hope you enjoy your goodies!!!

I just ordered with them in March and shipping was a big problem. I waited 4 business days and my items still had'nt shipped, so I contacted them (Friday). Promised me it would go Monday.

But it did'nt.

On Monday, They sent me an email saying it shipped with a tracking #. I checked and USPS tracking showed that they had been notified of package but it had not been shipped. This lasted for 3 days. I tried to contact SSS during this time to find out what was going on and they did not respond. On the fourth day, the package showed "shipped" and I let SSS know. They finally replied back but did not take any responsiblity for the delay-it was not their problem- but did seem glad to be off the hook. (My order was $160.00) The package arrived priorty two days later.

I will not order from them again.

I ordered from them once. It took longer then they stated to ship but not too terrible. But, there was an item missing from the order. It was apparently on back order but that was not indicated on the website or the invoice. I wasn't contacted when they realized they didn't have the item nor did they issue a refund until I asked. I don't see ordering from them again.

My mom and I both recently ordered from there (stuff that isn't carried here) and had the same experience. It was very frustrating because there was no good tracking info either. When I ordered from here a few days later, it still took afew days to send out but it said so right away and had great tracking info once it did ship.

I've ordered a few times, but I would hesitate to do so again.

I ordered over $100 of product and waited. And waited. And waited. I called, they said that it was sent weeks ago and to ask my postal carrier. We live in a huge town and I can't imagine that my carrier would remember my package among hundreds that she must have delivered in that time. The CS person at SSS said they couldn't do anything if the package wasn't found. And yes, she acted like I was lying.

I asked around the neighborhood and found the envelope. (A whole other irritation--really? Why would you hang on to a package for weeks if it wasn't yours. And no, it wasn't opened and yes, I knew the neighbor). I think I would have been out my money if I hadn't found the package. It costs cents to get delivery confirmation. It seems that maybe SSS should use it on packages larger than they are willing to reimburse.

My husband ordered a gift for me from SSS. It took so long to arrive that he had forgotten he had ordered it! We looked it up and discovered it had taken over a month. My guess is that the item was on back order. I don't think I would order from them if I needed something quickly.

I have always had a great service from them. I just noticed however, there is no more free shipping for orders over $75 for Canada? That's too bad. However, shipping is still cheaper than here... my last orders here have cost me a fortune in shipping.

Ordered from them one time (supplies to make graduation invites).

No answer to mult emails and phone messages, no order for nearly 4wks. I finally emailed and canceled the order. Ordered here at 2 Peas.

THAT very day, I got a email saying my (rather large) order had "already" shipped from SSS. I told them I was sorry but had already ordered elsewhere.

SSS told me "my kids have had flu", apologized and asked if I would send back the order and they would pay for shipping. I did - in the box then sent the order in - only opened to order to include a note that this was a return order and told them the cost of returning the package. I also emailed the amt the post office charged. No response. AGAIN!

I decided to write off the $10+ as a "lesson learned", BUT low and behold on our next credit card statement SSS BILLED ME FOR THE RETURNED ORDER!

We disputed it with our ccard company, they blocked the charges. The next month, SS BILLED US AGAIN FOR THE RETURNED ORDER!

At that point, we submitted a detailed step by step of my interactions with SSS, including the emails where I was told they they shipped the order anyway, asked me to return it, offered to pay for return shipping, acknowledged that they had shipped in spite of the order being canceled etc. Based on the documentation, our bank put a permanent block on our ccard for SSS. But we wasted HOURS HOURS of time dealing with their mistakes.

Oh, and just for the record, it's been several yrs and I have yet to be reimbursed my $10+ for doing them the favor of returning the order.

I have only placed a few orders with them.. & up until recently I haven't had any issues! I placed 2 orders one on the 11th and one just a few days ago.. I recieved an email today stated my order from last week has shipped.. I noticed that the order from the 11th still hasn't shipped and it has been over 10 days!!! So I contacted them via email & got a response the very next day saying one of my items is out of stock but is expected to ship in the next week! I have no problem with that I don't mind waiting as it is nothing something I need right away but my only problem is with them and all other company's that do this is..

They should really notify you by email or post it to your account online that the items are waiting for shipment! Bugs me but since I haven't really had any issues per say with them and have always gotten correct orders I will shop with them again!

I have noticed however that they sell the same items on eBay and when you purchase items from them on eBay it seems like they are quicker to ship them out.. Not sure why its like that but it should all be the same shipping times regardless of the sites! They also don't have any info on there site about how long they usualy take to ship a package.. That would be helpful to know!!

I placed an order from SSS and on Saturday Jul 20 I called them on Friday July 26. They did not even apologize they just say they running behind and that she will call the warehouse to have my order ship. That is so ridiculous! if I woul it they would take even longer. I have to use SSS some time because Two peas does not carry everything. I will think twice before I order from SSS again, since this was my second order with SSS and they did exactly the same thing with the first order.
