Beck's Real Project Life classes began Oct 4. Is anyone taking it? If so, what can you tell us about it?
How is the kit? Do you like it?
What is your first assignment?
I'd love to know what you think of the class.

This is my first online class that I have spent money on-with that said, I think the class came across my radar for a reason. I have been trying to find balance in my life lately and I'm hoping this will help me with that.
The class is based on realizing that we can't do EVERYTHING in life. Becky has a voiced over set of videos each week with an assignment that you turn into a PL page. The framework is based on S. Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I signed up on Oct. 4 so I have not received the cards yet.
I'm working on the first assignment today. I'm really excited to focus on this for the next 12 weeks. Honestly my hope is to realize again what is really important in life and focus on that.
No creative title here...

I haven't watched this week's videos, but I like the direction it's going judging by the printouts for the week. There was no "kit" for the class - just some beautifully done quote cards from Persnickety Prints that fit the PL page protectors. Students signing up now get the digital version so they can print them out.
There's a "Wrapping up 2012" assignment that's tied to the video and there's a photography/journaling sheet with prompts.
I think the class is going to be really good for getting me on track for enjoying and recording life in a new way.

I am loving the class. It is making me journal/take pictures of things I would not have thought of. For instance today I took a screen shot of me and my daughter skyping today while she was eating her breakfast.

Great thought provoking content so far and the free PL cards and prints from Persnickety are a nice addition. Glad I signed up. The prompts are good for photo taking and journaling even if you don't do PL.
