Hi,
Thank you so much for the welcome
I started scrapbooking, just on a casual basis, when I was about 12 years old (I'm 27 now). I started doing it as a regular hobby about 4 years ago, and I've recently discovered that it actually helps me to deal with stress, depression and loss. A member of my family whom I was very close to passed away on January 2 of this year, and scrapbooking allowed me to keep the majority of my sanity lol.
I've also recently started a scrapbooking business, making personalized scrapbooks for other people. It's been a slow start, but once I get a website made up, and a brochure, I think it will pick up.
Very happy to be a member of this community, and I won't hesitate to ask any questions I have.

Welcome to the pod. What type of scrapbooker are you? 8 1/2 x 11, 12 x 12, other, digital, chronogogical, etc?

Oh, and to Just Lizzy... I'm pretty versatile as far as sizes of albums go... it depends on the project I'm doing, who I'm making it for, and what albums I happen to have around at the time.
I really want to try making my own album, from scratch, but that's a whole other area I haven't gotten into yet. It would be great to save some money by not having to spend $7-$30 on an album (depending whether I order it online, or buy it at a local store), and then have to pay extra for the shipping to get it to me lol | |
