For me, it's paper flowers. I buy them over and over and over again. If layout doesn't look quite right - BAM! - a flower slapped down and it's finished. Haha.

What's your go-to embellishment?

Lately, it's been twine, washi tape and buttons.

Washi tape. I haven't used it in awhile. It doesn't matter. I fully admit to myself that I just love looking at it.

Tiny staples. Regular size staples not so much but tiny ones I have issues and I freely admit that.

Oh, and did I mention brads?

It depends on if the primary subject of the layout is male or female, but it's either stars or flowers. Although with stars I tend to stamp the back of pattern paper, then cut out the star. With flowers I tend to either hand make a flower several different ways or reach into an extensive collection of them.

Lately, I am loving wood veneers. And while it is not really an embellishment, I seem to be using a lot of pop dots WITH my embellishments

Lately its been washi and enamel dots. A tried and true for me is vintage or repurposed stuff...like old bootlaces or netting from cinnamon pinecones or old tulle or lace. I'm trying to reconcile the chevron washi I'm in love with and my vintage-ish style...

Due to the fact that 95% of my pages are masculine, it is a tie between buttons and brads. I still, however, must have 185 million flowers that I can't seem to stop buying.

Now I need to go find out what enamel dots are. I guess I can imagine what they are, but I haven't been shopping in a LONG time. My stuff has been packed up for over a year due to a move. I wonder what else is new out there! (I finally get to unpack in a few weeks - yay!)
