My only specific plans were to work on my vacation photos and to put away all my recent new goodies. Other than that, I just knew I wanted to play for a while.
I made some progress on the photos. Even printed a handful in case I wanted to scrap a LO or two to get me started.
Put away new stuff - hmm, partial success. All but the paper, which is my tidying bugbear. Yes, I have too much paper. And yes, I keep buying more
Did a little reorganising - my ribbon drawer was a complete mess, so I pulled that out and divided it into baggies by colour, much better.
Then I decided that in the spirit of organising, I should pull out my part-finished LOs and see if I could get any of them completed. They were in varying stages of completeness, from just needing a date tag adding, to having done no more than choose the papers.
Well, I finished 6 pages! This is nothing short of a miracle for me. I have plenty more WIP to finish off, but that was definitely a good scrappy weekend for me.
Did you achieve what you planned to do?

I only completed one LO. I am off today and am going to see if I can get at least one more done.

My scrap room is almost back together (recent room switch and downsize) so I had to make a lot of scrap cr@p fit into the new space!
I had to go car shopping with my son on Sat, so that took half the day! But I did find the prettiest chandelier for my new scrap room, so that made the weekends scrap room progress all the better

Nothing! My pics are still sitting on the table. UGH!!! MY DS had a BB tournament all weekend. Plus, I got started on cleaning out a closet that is taking forever.

Over Friday evening and Saturday I got 7 layouts done, new stash put away, and worked on my Me @ 33 Album. 3 more layouts and I'm current for 2012.

I took out all my Studio Calico kits from there brown bags and put then in nice clear storage bags. Also went to Crafts Direct and bought 23 dollars worth of pattern paper for $3.69.
This coming weekend I plan on making some Halloween goodie boxes for my sons preschool class.

Yes. And No.
I did accomplish 9 layouts.
But then I got sidetracked and had the brilliant idea to make my own sticker letters. Just white and black. But then I had to find the perfect font. And then I had to decide how many of each letter, and which letters to do more of, and how many vowels. So...that took more time than anticipated. But since it was through eCal I saved the file, and it'll be easy-peasy to make more letters to match!
Hopefully, I can stop running out of the letters I need!

Nada. Nothing. Wah.
We had a massive rain last weekend and then sunshine all week, so our yard was waist-high weeds (we have 3.5 acres). So hubby had to mow. Which meant I had both kids all.day.long. Which meant no progress on the scrap room.

I almost caught up my Project Life!!!!
Yea!!! Me too. I managed to get 9 weeks finished yesterday and today and now I am almost caught up. I only have the past two weeks to journal then I will be completely caught up. I also had to split my album into two separate albums. I was trying so hard to keep it in one but it was just too big. That took a while and now I have to go back and figure out what to put in the front and back pages.
I also got about 99.9% of my scraproom reorganized. I only have a few more odds and ends to put away, otherwise it's all done
Now I hope to be able to scrap a few LO's. Being so far behind on my PL was starting to concern me and I hadn't been able to concentrate on anything but catching up.
Woohoo for progress. | |

I got 7 double page layouts and 1 single page layouts done. A mix of current summer, my DD's first year album, and old pics back to '96 of other DD's first dance recital and Halloween 2006. Not very much considering I had 5 days off, but still had house work to do, apple and pumpkin picking and scrappy shopping. So, all in all, I'm pretty pleased.

I had planned to catch up my PL...but I got side tracked organizing clear stamps, which meant a trip to get more stamp holders. Which then turned into just a quick peek at new scrappy stuff they had, well you get the picture.
