I'm starting a new 12 week program (thanks Pinterest)...and the first day calls for a 'Core Workout'.

I have a notebook full of workouts...upper body, lower body, total body...but nothing specifically for 'core'

There is a yoga class tonight at my gym...would that be considered a good core workout?

Other than that, I don't have anything specific and am having a hard time finding it with Google.

Maybe if I add some planks to the yoga? Does anyone have any suggestions for a core workout?

See if you can get a copy of this book

The Women's Health Big Book of 15 Minute Workouts

I haven't used to workouts in the book but I got it from the library so I could see if it was a book I wanted to purchase. All of the workouts are pretty straight forward with good solid moves.

Have you tried looking on YouTube? I'm sure there's going to be something there.

Pilates.

Pilates.

Oh... did I mention Pilates?

Go to YouTube and search "core workout." There'll be a ton.

Just add 2 one minute planks to your routine. Planks and pushups are the best work out for core and arms.

The Core DVD from the first P90x is great. I think you can buy it on Amazon.

I have a couple of pilates videos at home...maybe I'll try them tonight with some treadmill cardio afterward. Then I won't even have to leave the house.

And Anna...I love Collagevideo. I'll check that one out...looks like a good one. Thanks!
