|Posted: 10/9/2012 10:29:26 AM|I was browsing the web last night and came across this company
Look at their prior kits for Christmas! Holy Moley! I've never done a DD but I think this year I just might.
I know that Teresa Collins has a kit out and Ali Edwards (although that one is crazy expensive).
Do you guys know of any others?

That Christmas one looked so cute! Wish I could see page by page. They are all sold out - good for them!

Gossemar blue does. It is really expensive. It has a ton of items plus a class included. A girl can wish...

Scraptastic has a pretty awesome kit... I think they are all around the same price tho
|Posted: 10/9/2012 11:51:31 AM|
Gossamer Blue is $100
Scraptastic is $75
Hip2Bsquare, Work In Progress Kits, Evalicious and Citrus Twist are doing kits too.

Gossamer Blue is pricey, but it looks totally worth it. If I was doing one this year this would be my kit of choice.
The price is right along the lines of what some other kit clubs have done/ are doing.

I'm totally drooling over the Gossamer Blue kit. But there are so many things going onright now, money is running out. I need a scrap fairy godmother!

Hi! I've never done the DD either but really want to. I was looking at Citrus Twist, it doesn't look like Scrapscription has released any kits for this year but the previous kits are really nice. I don't want to pay big bucks since this will be my first one though. In the comment section on Citrus Twist they were talking about album size and she suggested Simple Stories 6x8 books. Well I went looking and not only do I love the book but I love the papers, embellishments and page protectors. I'm going to put together my own 'kit' from them I think. I'm still toying with making it a hybrid DD by doing some of it digitally. Big dreams lol!

The one at Scraptastic Club is $75 which also includes a class.

ScrapScription is releasing a december daily kit this year featuring Bella Blvd Christmas Wishes. You can email them to be put on the list for the kit. They haven't released the full contents/kit yet, but judging by past kits (and I've ordered a couple of their mini album kits) it's going to be a winner. The email I received said the kits should be shipping Nov 1st and she'll send a paypal invoice at that time.
|Posted: 10/9/2012 3:15:05 PM|I found the Theresa Collins one at Archivers for $20, less with the coupon. I think it's worth it for an album, dividers, 10 pages, die cuts, stickers and tags.

I preordered the Ali Edwards kit from Studio Calico. This will be my first attempt at December Daily. I liked that kit because of the size of the album and the exclusive stamp set. I am a sucker for stamps.
|Posted: 10/9/2012 5:16:23 PM|Oh I really like the gossamer blue one too! It would take a miracle to have the scrap fairy deliver it to my house, but a girl can dream

There was a couple at CKC in Kansas City last weekend selling chipboard albums and kits. The samples on display were stellar! Their company is called Heart of Texas Studio. Look on their website heartoftexasstudio.com. The December Daily album kit is beautiful.

I'm doing the Studio Calico DD, but Cocoa Daisy is doing an art journal one that looks cool.

I ordered an embellishment only December Daily kit 2 years ago, but I can't remember where from, and I wish I could! It had some really neat current embellishments plus some vintage items and ephemera as well. Has anyone seen anything like that? I would love to do a DD, but I want to use my OA papers, and I really want to fluff up the embellisments!

I was going to make my own but Gossamer Blue is just too irresistable. Includes the class, a heap of product - inc cool stuff I cant see anywhere else - and best of all free shipping.
My budgety plans of using what I had just disappeared! Thanks for sharing. I cant wait!!!!

Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to try to get one of the ScrapScription kits. I'll see if they respond to my email.

Oh my gosh the Gossamer Blue kit looks amazing! I hadn't seen this before. There is so much stuff in that kit! I actually can't believe its only $100. that is a lot of stuff! I think I could make 2 DDs!!!
Well who ever ordered it you have to tell us what its like in person when you get it. It looks sold out now. Wow. I got the SC kit, but there is not that much stuff compared to GB.
Will I ever get to Buckethead?!

|Posted: 10/10/2012 8:21:52 AM|Citrus Twist just posted a bunch of sneaks and the price for their December Daily, and it's only $38 plus $7.95 shipping. It's free shipping if you are a kit subber too.

Citrus Twist Kits - December Daily
I'm debating whether or not I should get it. It's such a great deal, and I do need papers to scrapbook my Xmas photos. I purged all my 'holiday' papers earlier this year. I think I'm going to include my DD within my PL project for my family.

If I do DD, I am just going to use my stash but I did like the Gossamer Blue one. There was a TON of stuff. I was surprised how much it had.

i have a stash but no Christmas stuff tho
----i have no skill or patience to pick out all the stuff.... so its perfect for me plus the classes made it a win win i think everyone of them are an awesome value...
looking to see what Shimmelle comes out with but need noooo more
|Posted: 10/10/2012 10:18:27 AM|I love all these kits, but no cash to purchase! I really wish someone would release just their album! I actually have enough Christmas supplies to make DD work, but would love some of the albums I've seen included with the kits. Guess I'm going to have to keep looking...or make my own!

It's not an album, but Technique Tuesday just introduced a new Studio AE set for October by Ali that also works with a December Daily. It's called December Joys. It's a different than the one Ali and TT put together with the Studio Calico kit in mind.

I'm going with Scrapscription. I've always been beyond pleased with kits from them.
