I LOVE the counterfeit challenge!! I am one of those people who does not purge, so I have a huge stash. I have challenged myself to try to duplicate the kits as closely as possible with what I have, or with creating whatever I need. It has been such fun! (Putting together the kits is almost as much fun as actually scrapbooking).
An added benefit it that I end up re-aquainting myself with my stash as I search for a paper to match with whatever is in the kit. In the end I have a kit made from my own stash, that is pretty darn close to the original (and maybe occasionally I do buy a few new things...) |
