just gave me hers!!! (she thought she was going to get "into" scrapping and she just never could.. and I can't believe she even went as far to buying a cricut (she's too funny)... anyway, on her recent visit, she brought all of her scrapping stuff that she decided she would never use (including some yard sale finds from her neighbor, heat gun, stamps, etc)
so... I am now a cricut owner and will be playing later... hope I like it!! I basically only make cards at this point and will use it for that..

I'd be doing the happy dance!! And I think the little one is great for cards, you wouldn't need something as big as the expression if not cutting out borders, etc for a 12x12 layout! | |

Congratulations. I would hop over to the Cricut.com board for information on how to use it, see the cartridges and projects it can do. I use mine daily even though I have a Cameo as well. Enjoy! | |

Congratulations! And what a lovely sister!
Especially for cardmaking, you will enjoy your machine I think. As far as it not being THE machine to have, well I find that most people are quite content with what they have until they start looking at everyone else's new toys. I have recently adopted a policy of being happy with what I already own. And you know what? In simply making up my mind to be happy and satisfied, I pretty quickly found out that I AM.
The baby bug is super for making cards. There are several good blogs out there for cardmakers, and I have found that even if different die cut machines are used, I am usually able to find something in my cartridge aresenal to get pretty darned close to duplicating anything I see. |
