Hi ladies, I was wondering about this kit club. I did go look at it and it does look very cute. I would love to hear from you what you guys think of it. Is it worth the money? I do like that they have a 3 month sub. to get started with. I couldn't find anything on Youtube about these kits which I thought was strange.

They are pretty new and therefore still small in subscribers. I started a three month subscription in August and have to say I love the kits. They are chock full of goodies, including mists, inks, stamps, embellishments, and paper. They are well packaged and nothing has been damaged or missing from my orders.
I've yet to use them as the themes do not suit what I am currently working on; however, I expect that to change as I move from the holidays 2011 into Spring/Summer 2012. Trina, the owner, couldn't be nicer either...I was having a bit of a problem logging in to the website and she was on it lickety split to help me figure it out.
I will probably not renew immediately as the holidays are approaching and I have TONS of holiday themed stuff; but after the first of the year I think I will give it a go again. |

I did a 3 month sub with them for the last 3 months, the current kit has not arrived yet but will any day. I think it's a great kit, but just not for me. Tons of product, full color sheet of layouts to lift, if you wanted. Everything in the kit is current on trends, all recent releases, etc. I love the exclusive items. But, it's just not my style so I will not be receiving the kit anymore. |

I am VERY, very happy with the kits and service I've received from Citrus Twist Kits.
When I received my first kit: Tropical Heat, I was in wonder as I opened my kit. Goodies just kept spilling out, and I was hooked.
I love the there are exclusives in her kits. I love that it comes with ink and sometimes mists. I've just been so happy truly.
I purchased a 6 month commitment when I started because I wanted to get a real taste, not just a snippet.
I've received 2 of my kits, and I've made more layouts than ever with her kits. I'm inspired by the DT, and Trina is just so wonderful. She listens to her consumers, and she pays very close attention to trends. This month they are offering a great deal to new subbers and subbers who refer them.
If you are referred to her kit company, and you a new subber this month, you'll receive something special with your kit as a gift for joining, and the person who referred you will get a little incentive in their kit. How generous!
Reasons why I love Citrus Twist:
1) Perfect blend of manufacturers - I don't like it when kit companies choose all the same coordinating papers from brands. If I wanted the same papers, I would just order all of the papers or the collection kit.
2) Exclusive Materials - Lovely stamps, journal cards, mistable ribbon, and flowers, PLUS cute little 'vintage' doo-dads. Last month, there was the cutest pinwheel. I used it on a layout already.
3) Lovely color palettes - CTK makes me step outside of my comfort zone with their color palettes, and I'm always happy with my end result.
4) Super great embellishments - There is always an alpha. This month and last month's kit had Thickers, and well I'm obsessed with Thickers. Also there is usually a coordinating washi tape, which is fab. So on trend! Twine, Ribbon/Trim, and other lovely tidbits.
5) Lots of options. With you main kit, you can add on a whole other kit, a PL sized down kit, extra embellishments, extra patterned paper, or you can buy extra kit pp and cardstock.
There are a number of reasons to join this growing company. Yes it's new, and that can be intimidating, but all businesses have to start somewhere, and this one is growing a strong following. Just check out the design team. They have designers from many big brands supporting this little shop!
Plus she is offering an VERY inexpensive take on the DD. I've already requested mine, and I am so looking forward to playing with my kit that should arrive in about a week, whee!!
Go ahead and try it on for size; you won't be sorry |

I'm drooling over the Citrus Twist October kit . I'm hoping to be able to find a fantastic job after graduation, because I'm hoping to sub here and Gossamer Blue! I love that they both focus on color so much, and you really seem to get a great value.

@alone_inacrowdedroom - I sub to both Citrus Twist and Gossamer Blue, so I am biased, but I really love them both. My GB kits arrives at the beginning of the month, and my CTK kit arrives in the middle of the month, so I always have something to play with. I love them equally. Trina really is so amazing and VERY generous with her kits, and Lori is lovely too; she was nice enough to send me the cut files for my last kit in a format that I could use on my Cameo (I don't have designer edition, ?).
I like that each month they are chock full of brands that I wouldn't go out of my way to buy, but I love the look of, so they are easy to use. I love that they are both so colorful, which admittedly at first I thought I would be adversed to; it's been challenging me to scrapbook outside of the box (for me, KNIM?) - I tend to use subdued colors in my layouts and muted tones as they reflect my personal style. I LOVE neutrals lol. Initially I thought that I would be happier with a well known club out there that tends to have a lot of muted tones in their kits (they shall remain nameless) but they came at too hefty a cost for what you received within each kit, and the add ons were pretty expensive too. I like that I can just buy cute coordinating patterned paper buy itself with my kit each month, and I like that I have the option for a few more embellishments for very inexpensive.
I'm just so pleased with my experience with both companies, and I think in the future you will be too
I pretty much put it on my paypal account each month and then just pay it off. It's my gift to me. I'm such an enabler *slaps wrist* |

Thanks for the info, fromwatsonwithlove! I used to sub to the club you mentioned before I started this degree and was still working my last job. I loved having all that coordinated scrappy goodness arrive at my door every month, but after awhile, I kind of felt like all my pages started looking very similar. Not design-wise, but the color selection. (ETA: Eating my words now... I've really liked the last few SC kits!)
So now I know that the next kit club(s) I sub to will have bright color palettes that vary every month. I've loved what I've seen so far from both. It doesn't bother me that they are new companies - all of the current kit clubs had to start somewhere. I like when I can see the kit online and immediately have ideas in my head for it - that's the sign of a great kit!

I want to get the DD kit from them but do you have to sign up for a sub or can you just buy the kit?
Forget it, the damn thing is already sold out. That's the 3rd kit I've tried to buy that's sold out. Grrrrr! |
