I'm paying forward THREE (3) Chipboard Kits. I **will** ship internationally. See the challenge details for information on how to claim one of these kits.

Wishlist: I would love some old wooden thread spools (no thread, just the spools), if someone is hoarding them and would like to pay them forward. Please PeaMail me if you do, so I can claim a set! Thanks!

I am also paying forward ONE (1) Stencil / Mask kit.

I set up this example to show you that you do not need to make multiple kits - you can do single, individual kits, too.

I **will** ship this kit internationally, too.

Sorry about the duplicate blank posts, I was trying to post from my phone, got a call and could not get it to stop.

Anne, I may have a couple of small vintage thread spools if that is what you are looking for.

I will probably post some more later! Picture of brads here!

Ok, I just remembered I have eyelets too in odd shapes. I am going to add these! Will get the pic added to the brads later!

Anne, this is SUCH a fun, creative idea for a challenge! And thanks for adding the bit about mailing internationally - I will NOT be offended if people don't want to mail overseas, but I would have been too shy to ask people if you hadn't mentioned that. So, participants, please be sure to mention whether you will or not - absolutely no offense will be taken, but it's just good to know whose stuff I can request (when the time comes!).

Thanks, Anne!

I am adding some eyelets to my PIF. 5 each, blue stars, red stars, hearts, and another one that may be leaves? hehehe.
It won't let me add the picture yet but as soon as I can I will!

Anne, our hostess, might not be able to use her computer today. She has spoiled us with her quick responses to all our comments and questions, but today we'll have to be patient.

Keep on posting. I'm thinking of my over-stuffed craft room, but it's so darn hard to part with anything! I know. My bad!

Hi there! I'm so glad that everyone is excited about this challenge! I personally find it easier to "release" some of my hoarded items "back into the wild" if I know they're going to a new home where they will be wanted!

Kat those vintage spools sound exactly like what I'm looking for! So, if you want to make a set and post it as your PIF, mark it for me!

Thanks so much Anne for posting my links! Sorry I had to run some errands before it got dark since we have snow and ice on the ground again.

Ladies I am serious about wanting to move these items on...and for a good price too-I offering them for FREE! Just post a kit of your own and you are eligible!

Anne! I'm attempting to update my Adobe reader so I can read the details (I have tried doing this before)& it will take forever to load (urrently @12, but...

I'd like to attempt to join the fun... I have RIBBON! Enough to open a store. I have tons of extruded & wovens in a huge number of widths & patterns.

I'd be pleased to send 4 business size envelopes of mixed ribbon (1 & 2 yd lengths) to anyone--including international pals here.

Can't wait 'til the upload is done so I can 'see' details--hoping the update takes this time!

For Daniel and anyone else having trouble with reading the .PDF file:

How it works: you gotta give to get
Do you remember that movie called Pay It Forward? A young boy had the idea to make the world a better place by doing three big favors for three people, who would pay it forward and do three big favors for three more people, and on and on...
We are going to take this concept and also tackle our hoarded supplies into a single challenge!
1. Look through your hoarded supplies to see what you might have so much of that you'll never use it all. Try to keep it to a single category, like the ones listed to the right.
2. Make one to three small "Pay It Forward Kits" (PIF Kits) containing a sampling of the hoarded item - a nice kit that would make a decent gift or RAK.
* You are preparing these kits to send to someone else.
* Make sure that you are willing to pay the postage / shipping on the kits you make.
* Please indicate whether you will ship internationally or not.
3. Optional: Consider adding a couple of hand-stamped images or an artist trading card handmade by you.
4. Take photos of your kit or kits and post them to Two Peas. Be sure to check the box for the SOF12 Hoarder's Pay It Forward Challenge when you upload.
5. Once you've posted YOUR kit(s), others who have ALREADY posted their own PIF Kits can request your kit on a first come, first served basis.
6. Also once you've posted YOUR kit(s), you can make a request for the same number of kits from other people as you have posted. Choose carefully!
7. When someone requests a kit from you, please fill those kit "orders" on a first come, first served basis. Confirm the order in the comments of your gallery post like: "Sure, ___, the ___ kit is yours." Once you've shipped, please confirm by PeaMail that it's on its way.

How to request a Pay It Forward (PIF) kit
1. You must have already posted YOUR kit(s) to make a request.
2. You may only request as many kit(s) as you have ALREADY posted.
3. Leave a comment on the gallery post of the kit(s) you want to request. State that you want to request the kit and that you've already posted. Say something like: "Hi! I'd like one of your ___ kits. I've already posted my __ kits."
4. Then click on that person's PeaName to go to their profile. In the left navigation, select Send PeaMail. Send a PeaMail to your host or hostess requesting the kit and leaving
your full name and snail mail address.
5. Be sure to thank your host or hostess!

Additional information
* You may end up giving away more kits that you receive, but that's okay because you are dwindling your stash! Plus, everything is going to a nice new home to be enjoyed!
* Please only request kits / items that you will truly use and enjoy. There is no sense asking someone to pay for shipping if you aren't truly going to use the items.
* This challenge is open for all of Stamptoberfest 2012 AND SOF12 Hangover Week, to give everyone plenty of opportunity to play.
* There will be no RAK for this challenge, as the point is that everyone gives and receives RAKs by Paying It Forward.
* I have posted my own PIF Kits as an example and to get the ball rolling!

Categories of Hoarded Items
* acetate
* alphas / thickers
* buttons
* card blanks
* charms
* chipboard
* colored pencils
* crafty magazines
* die cut shapes
* dimensional pearls
* dry embossed paper - cut to 4.25 x 5.5 or 6 x 6
* embellies
* envelopes
* foils / metals
* fragments
* glitter
* markers / pens
* mists / sprays
* paper flowers
* patterned paper - cut to 4.25 x 5.5 or 6 x 6
* ribbon / baker's twine / fibers
* rub-ons
* stamps
* stencils / masks
* stickers
* tags
* washi tape
* +whatever else you can think of!

Sending Stamped Images
* Stamp one image per 4.25 in x 5.5 in piece of paper
* Use one of these inks, preferably in brown or black: Memento, Ranger Archival Ink, or Staz-On.
* Write the name & manufacturer of the stamp and the ink used on the back in pencil.

(Please know that it looks much better, it's easier to read, and you can print all these details out easily if you can access the .PDF file...)

So... I amend my last post. I'm offering 3 parcels of ribbon to first-comers. If you look thru my gallery you'll see lots of projects that include the ribbons I have!

Daniel, you may offer 4 ribbon kits if you'd like! I was just trying to make it seem "do-able" ... but really, 4 is fine!

And I went ahead and updated the Shrink Plastic and Gratitude Shower challenges with the details, too.

Daniel, since I know you can't upload a photo of the ribbons to the gallery, that's okay, too. We can just "request" ribbon from you here.

Speaking of which, I'd like to request some ribbon! I tend to use blue, green, burnt orange, and neutrals like white, cream, tan, brown, and gray most often. But, I wouldn't mind a few that are patterned, striped, or multi-colored, in shorter lengths.

Thank you!

P.S. Don't tell my hubby ... he might freak if he finds out I am bringing MORE ribbon in the house!

I KWYM, Ising, but... I believe one difficulty with Anne's 'challenge' is that we all have so much already that adding to it from the wonderful selection of PIFs gives many of us 'pause'.

For instance... I love Anne's stencil kit! It makes me drool , but... I'm loathe to request it. Why? 'Cause I fear it won't get the use it deserves. Same for the other kits & offerings! They're all great, but my hoard is vast! The last thing I want is to acquire more stuff just because I like it. Hope that makes sense.

If someone has Memory Box die cuts, a kit of different papers pre-cut with the dies (and not the dies themselves) might make a good kit.

Daniel, don't be afraid to request my stencils! I would love to see them go to a good home and don't mind paying the shipping to get it to you! (Think of it as trading ribbon for stencils!)

If you post kits that no one requests, you can still use them in the following ways:
You get the idea! Are there any other places that you know of where you can donate gently used art or craft supplies?

The point of this challenge is to get in there and identify things that you can release back into the wild, for someone else to enjoy!

LOL, Ising! I think this challenge is more of a 'yo yo' diet for us hoarders. We lose weight from one part of our stashes & gain it from another!

Anne! Consider your stencil kit requested! You are correct. I know I'll play with them & I can always pass them along if I want to.

I'm starting to put together a pack of ribbons for you--looks like it might be more than ribbon, too. Gonna need a larger envie! LOL!

I have 5 kits, all containing stamped images and either card blanks, stickers, flowers or tags/labels etc.

Please check them out here and feel free to request one!

I will of course ship internationally (duh!), but I forgot to mention that in the post .

Happy shopping, everyone!

I posted 3 kits:

MicheleD's kits

After preparing my post, I read thru Anne's challenge details and noticed the suggestion to keep kits in one category. I did the opposite! Hope that's ok. I'm thinking that later in the week if I still have kits left, folks could mix and match what I have.

I will also look thru my stamps and find some that might be good for coloring to send as stamped images. (I think I mentioned before, I'm not a colorer myself...)
