I scrapped..I scrapped..I scrapped!
Took me forever to do one page. I have to wait for some ink to dry and then I'll finish and get it on here for you all.

Gorgeous weather - hopefully I'll get my windows done before it is over.

Need to go back and read posts and praise. Wanted to at least check in.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

YAY MELANIE...way to get your scrap on. Now let's see what you made.

I scrapped earlier, but not this evening. And now I'm too tired to. Oh well there is always tomorrow.

So I'll check in then before being gone for the holidays.

Gotta finish laundry, meet with the boys' 6 teachers for an arena style conferences (crazy), get the kids ready to be gone over the holiday weekend, and then tackle the house before it takes on a life of its own and tackles me...LOL (Please don't show up unannounced at my house over the next few days as it's a sight I'd prefer not to share).

Have a great Turkey holiday. I think I'll make 3DTurkey cookies with the kids tomorrow...they are so cute.

Hey everyone, remember me? I've been really really busy, not to mention that my health seems to be declining. The arthritis has gotten worse, and I may not be able to wait until this summer to have it done. If I fall again, that's going to be the end of my knee. Had to have the paramedics come one night because I fell and couldn't get up....I know I know about the advertisement, but hey the paramedics were "hot." Nothing hurt except my ego.

Kevin, my sweetie in London, is on his way here (as I speak) to help me for the next month. Then, I will go there in February I will go their for Valentine's day. On top of that, I'm looking for a new house, after he gets finished selling his house, he is moving to the U.S. and live with me.

I have a new gf here too besides Wanda. We're the odd couple. She's tiny and small, and Vietnamese. I'm not little or small, and I'm white as can be. We have a great time when we go out.

Tammy - Great that things worked out well for the kids.

Lori and Jen - Belated Happy Birthday to both of you!!!!

Debi - I usually would be up and 3:30, but the time change really has the dogs messed up and they are getting up earlier, so I'm trying to bring them to the current time, but it isn't happening.

Nylene - Good to see you back. I hope the power of prayer makes him get better. Sending prayers for both of you/

Theresa - Good Grief 52 is not old. Try being 64.

Monica M. & Tina - Congrats on the new jobs. Both, so well deserved.

Diana - WOW 7 kids. That's a lot of kids in one place. Have a great get together.

Well Ladies I'm starting to get tired, So Time for me to go to bed. L

Melanie, hurray for scrapping!

Linda, hope you get to feeling better soon and hurray for a new friend!

Debi, take photos of your Thanksgiving cookies--well duh, of course you will.

I worked hard this morning and thankfully got everything done that had to be done, have one surgery to deal with Monday but that is it. Decided to put the office Christmas tree up before we left since we're closed the rest of the week and were getting off early today, not to mention that we've got almost 50 patients Monday and Tuesday. Everyone was on board with the idea UNTIL time to actually do it. They all then decided it would be better to wait til next Wed because they wanted to leave. Was going to just drop it but I couldn't get hold of a patient so while I waited for her to call me back I put it up. Can't say I did a great job, needs fluffing and the ornaments moved around to fill up some holes but I don't care. Took about 30 minutes so you know it's not pretty, LOL! The lazy ones can fix it next week.

Got off at 2, have cleaned (finally) the utility room, took the trash out, the towels that I washed this morning are now dried, pumpkin pie in the oven, stuffing made for the turkey tomorrow and I'm pooped! Still have the cheesecake to do but had to rest a bit. Jeremy and Kate won't be here til around 10 p.m. so I've got time.

Just realize that I said I'd be 52 Friday, I won't. I'll only be 51. I'm such a goober!!!

Just going to post a few LO's and run. I need to prove I can actually do a month's challenges in the right month, lol!

K This is for you, Debi! P13,LO 11, a lift of mary_mac's 'S' page.

Thank you cards These are for Linda's fall colour cards and Monica's scraps challenge. Used up a lot of bits of ribbon and paper. I'm going to use them to say thanks to the kids' teachers at the end of the year. I had a lot of fun - maybe I should make more cards.

Growing Popcorn This was for last month's scraplift challenge. I used the SC November kit and combined it with die-cuts from Sillhouette. It was such fun making it - totally frivilous.

And a last one that is for my travel album and not for any challenge: Bridges over the Seine

Have a great day and I hope you don't float away Debi and Tammy!

Happy Thanksgiving Ladies!!!

I wanted to stop by to let you know how thankful I am for all of you. You are such a supportive, fun group of friends and I'm so glad that I have you.

I've been up for a while, working in the kitchen, I've got a whole bunch of pies to bake before I hit the road to my parents' place. I hope that each of you has a really nice day with friends & family.

~~Happy Thanksgiving!~~

I'm thankful for all of YOU

I need to go shower & get the cranberry sauce made so it can chill. Then we are heading up to my cousins' house for breakfast & mimosas (Thanksgiving tradition). Back home to cook, and then to another cousins' house for dinner!

Hope you all have a wonderful day with your families!

MICHELLE you are the scrapping diva today. Love all your LOs and thanks for playing along with my digi challenge.

Stateside USA girls, HAPPY THANKSGIVING and yes, I'm thankful to be accepted into a group of supportive gals like you with the same addiction (Scrapping) as I have so I can be my real self (no closet scrapping here). Have a great day and eat hearty. And if you are so inclined (not me) you can burn off those extra calories running for Black Friday deals.

Not finished with my LO yet, but hope to finish it before I head to mom's. If I do I'll post it here.

Have a great weekend.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope everyone's day was wonderful.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THERESA! Hope you have a wonderful birthday.

Sorry I didn't stop by yesterday; Megs has been kidnapping my computer (guess what she's going to get for Christas, LOL). Not much else going on around here, just work, work and oh, yeah, did I mention work, LOL.
Luckily I don't go in 'til 2 today, but then I have to be there at 7 in the morning tomorrow...ugh. Oh, well, keeps me busy. The new store manager gave me a huge pat on the back the other day...and here I always thought he just tolerated me, LOL. It was nice to hear though.

Tina - What a great little write up about you and your new position. I'm so excited for you, although I know how hard it is to say goodbye.

Well I'm going to check out some stuff before I have to go in and I want to get a couple of loads of laundry done before I go too.

Have a super day, girls.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Planning on getting the tree up today. So far all I've done is get the sheets off Jeremy's bed in the wash. Have to get the tree out of the storage building and need vacuum up all the dog hair before I can get started and I haven't done either so it's not looking positive, LOL.

Did post the University of Kentucky wreath I made my SIL on Pinterest. Hoping you can see it in the link (where it says UK wreath for those that can't find the links in these new stupid colors). She got it and loved it.

Just saw a reflection of my hair in the computer, REALLY have to go get it dried before it stays like it is now!!

Start getting your ideas in for next year's Chatty Scrappers

We need someone to be the new organizer. Theresa
We need someone for the every other posting monthly posting. Tina + Debi
We need an announcer? Birthdays, Anniversaries, babies. etc;
We need someone to put the check box up each month.

Also need to know of any other things you all might want to have, That way you'll have time to arrange for a volunteer.

I would like to have everything tied up and in a nice little bow to hand over Theresa at the beginning of next year.

I wish you all a very, merry next new year. Take care.

Linda, the vote was for Chatty Scrappers.

Everyone must be out shopping, sure is quiet here. Took a break to get my hair cut and need to get back to work but thought I'd check on you all first.

I've got a mess all over the house, hunting for Christmas items that I evidently stored somewhere "easy to find" and can't find the ones I want! Made my wreath last night and can not find the snowman piece that I want to put in the middle anywhere. With a tiny house I have to store stuff where ever I can find a spot to put it. Used to keep all my Christmas stuff together in the Utility Room (minus the tree which is outside in a storage building) but have too much crap now to do that so I use the closets in the living room and guest room too. Every room in the house is now upside down!!! Have found a lot of stuff I'd forgot I even had but am just not in the holiday spirit so don't want to decorate the whole house.

COLD today, 34 degrees. Crazy weather, was 80 Tuesday.

Back to work.

OK, just kidding! HELLO EVERYONE!

Oh how I've missed you all. Our trip to Phoenix was very, very fun but super busy and somewhat chaotic. We had a lovely birthday party for Charlotte...we even got to visit the fire station where her god father works. All the children got to run around and climb in/on the trucks. Everyone loved it. Can't wait to scrap some of THOSE photos!!

It took us 15 hours to drive home on Wednesday. Got back at midnight then got up and drove two more hours to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving.

Speaking of which, I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. We are finally home and staying home for a while. YAY! So good to sleep in my own bed and sit on my own couch.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO LORI, JENNIFER, AND THERESA I hope you all had wonderful birthdays!!

TAMMY - Hooray for Bobby! How's Becca? When do you expect results of EEG? Hope she's feeling OK.

TINA - that press release was sooooooo cool. I know the transition is hard, but WOW are you a super start and gonna shine in your new job. So excited for you!!

THERESA - your wreaths are so stinkin' cute! Love those. I'll be your friend loved hers.

MONICA M - So good to see you. I've thought of you often and am so glad that things are going well for you & the children.

MELANIE - I was gonna say 'yay for you' for scrapping, but I don't see it up here so I'm not sure I believe you!

DEBI - Hope you had a good TG with your mom. I have not received a package from you???

NYLENE - how is Steve? I've been thinking of you both.

LINDA - still house hunting? geesh. Sorry. Glad you have a new friend. Friends are very, very good.

OK, there was more I wanted to say but Stuart just brought me a slice of the pumpkin pie I made (gluten free crust!) and so I gotta go!

PRAISED UP Nice work lately, ladies!

Good morning..... got my mom off to the airport early this am. It's our turn to teach the kids class at church. Need to really work this week at getting our house back together- just kind of chaos going on with not giving it attention over the last week. Have a bunch of meetings scheduled as well to work around. On top of all that, I have a cold/sinus infection starting. Tis the season I guess.

I thought Theresa had volunteered to host.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the kind words on the wreaths. They're actually really easy to make.

I thought several people said I'd do the thread next year, think I agreed to do it but who knows, LOL. With the crazy bright white none of us are on here much anymore so there's not much of a thread to do.

Tammy hope the sinus crud goes away soon. Hate sinus infections.

Have the living room, porch and window boxes done. Not doing lights on the roof this year. Just too much trouble and with the luck I've had lately I'd fall off! Still need to sort through the boxes and find a few things to put here and there but most of the boxes are going back in the closet. Since we're hardly ever home, we rarely have anyone over and don't see the need to decorate the whole house for just me. Randy could care less.

Randy and I are the narrators for The Hanging of The Greens at church tonight. Big production the church does for decorating the sanctuary. They put verses and songs together with the different acts of decorating and have families hang wreaths, place candles, etc. Usually pretty nice service and then the church looks so pretty through New Years. Luckily we'll be able to read our parts and other than standing in front of the whole church for an hour it'll be easy. Might try to sneak in just sitting in the crow's nest and reading the parts over the intercom. We'll see.

Headed for a nap I think. Woke up at 4 and didn't really get back to sleep.

Hey ladies!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. We've been busy doing some Christmas decorating around here. We have also been watching a Christmas show each evening with the kids. We are headed to take Olivia back to school after dinner tonight. We've had a really nice visit with her, we did some Christmas shopping and just spent time at home together. It's been good.

I have been crazy busy since I took the new job, they started sending me things to approve and write as soon as I accepted, so I think my next month is going to be crazier than usual for this time of the year. I have three big proposals to get done for my current job before I leave, so once I can get those out of the way, I will feel much better.

Theresa - I do believe you to be our new organizer for next year, I think we put that one to bed a while ago. I also thought that Debi might have offered to be the other person who alternates with me for posting the thread (although I could be senile). P.S. I love your wreath, it's super cute!

Barbara - So glad you and the family got home safely from your travels. It sounds like you have had such a great time.

Anywho, I hope you all have a really nice evening. I'm making some white chili tonight...yum...so I need to get in there and get dinner going.

Tina

Happy Sunday, all. I am sitting in front of the computer instead of in my scrap room. The girls are taking unusually long naps and I could sneak in a few minutes...but I'm too tired to get up there! Did my long, Sunday run today and now I just want to veg on the couch here.

Since y'all are so quiet, I just go browse the gallery for a while. Hope everyone is well!!

Hi ladies, just came back from dropping Daniel at the bus and making a little stop by the Michael's over there is so much nicer than mine. Went to get a few Christmas stuff for my December Daily that I did it and finished it, but wanted to add more little touches, they had nothing left. I was a little disappointing but oh well I only spend $7.00.

My Step daughter was here all weekend also it was fun, she had me working all day on re-painting some of my planters now I have to buy plants for them. Here they are.

I'm not buying the tree until next week, I want it to look pretty until New Years so I need to wait a little, next week and weekend we will do all the decorating.

Tammy...My house is a mess also, It's like nothing was done the last 4 days, but I did clean and pick up and clean some more and cook some more. I'm ready to go work tomorrow and relax a bit. Glad you had a great time with mom. She comes back for Christmas right? I remember how you all make cookies together. My kids and me are also sick, we can't seem to shake this cold/allergy what ever it is. Maybe the fact that is 50 in the morning, 80 in the afternoon and 50 at night has something to do with it. We are having unusual chilly temperatures for this time of year, but it's nice.

Tina...Good luck with the new job. Looks like they really needed you. Glad you enjoyed your time so Olivia. It's so good to see them and just hear all they are doing.

THeresa...you have been busy, and that wreath is gorgeous!!! Theresa the church that my grandparents use to attend the were Baptist also, did something similar to that, I went with them when my grandmother was alive it was beautiful and such a professional production. I miss those times with her.

Nylene..I was thinking of Steve, how is he doing? Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with all your kids and grandkids.

Barbara...Glad you had a wonderful trip.

Where is Debi?????

Well ladies hope y'all have a wonderful evening, going to have some fun in pinterest and maybe scrap something even though this room is a mess.

12 Days of Christmas Tag.!!!!
Those of you that are going to play along, this is what I'm doing to make it easier for me it really helped me last year.

in a box I put.

1. 12 tags.
2. inks
3. images (x-mas)
4. Christmas scraps.

these are just a few things you can have ready. It will help you do the tags each day. At the end you will have some beautiful tags to add to your gifts.

Come back December 1st for the first one.

Hi again everyone,

I was trying to get motivated to get something done, but no dice. Now we are *all* camped out on the couch eating fruit and snacks for dinner and watching TV (alternating between Diego/Peppa Pig and cooking shows). It's not even December 1st and we are in full "winter" mode here at Easson Acres. Charlotte is the only one who has moved in the past 25 minutes. (Unless you count going to the kitchen to get more snacks!)

DIANA -- I *will* go up to my scrap room before I go to bed and get my TAGS BOX ready for December 1. I'm excited to play along! I love what you did with those planters! What kind of paint did you use? I need to do that!

DEBI -- Are you back from your mom's yet?? Hope you had a good, safe trip. Were the boys with you or at their Dad's?

TINA -- so nice to hear that you had a good weekend with O home. Must be hard to bring her back to school again.

OK...chances are I'll be back again before the night is over.

While I'm thinking of it, could someone please post a tutorial of how to put a photo directly into a post? Diana? Tina? Linda? Anyone who posts the thread at the beginning of each month? Nylene??

I have wanted to do this many times but have no clue how??

THERESA those wreaths are adorable.

DIANA, I'm here. Was at my no-internet-access Mom's for the holiday. Wow it's amazing how much I hang on the computer...I was relegated to organizing stuff on my computer, studying japanese and doing a few pages that I had to wait til I got home to post. Can't convince her that she'd like the internet...oh well.

LINDA, I think you don't need to worry about organizing next year's thread. You've done a great job. I think THERESA offered to host next year, and TINA and I would be willing to post monthly threads. I could also do the blog link if NYLENE doesn't want to since I know the color scheme of the new 2peas is wrecking havoc on many of our eyes. It'll all work out. The name that was voted on was "Chatty Scrappers", now we just have to make that true. And this Kevin, in England,...any scoop on the new beau?

BARBARA...package? yeah about that...I've been procrastinating. I'll get it to you eventually and of course your dh can take as long as he wants. You are so sweet to offer. What an awesome Christmas gift if he's successful, huh?

Yep, I'm home now. Doing laundry and preparing for the upcoming week, before the kids get home.

To post a photo within the thread it has to be posted either in the gallery here at 2peas or on a photohosting website like photobucket. The image has to be smaller (600x600 at 72dpi will work). For example you want to display a LO within the thread. Go to your layout in the gallery, double click to open your LO, right click on the layout, select properties, highlight the URL address and copy it (Ctrl C). then go back to message board, click on IMAGE at the bottom, paste (Ctrl V) in your URL. hit enter. The photo will now show within the thread when you submit your message. Same process with photobucket...select IMAGE URL and repeat process above. If it doesn't show, chances are your photo is too big. Good luck.

I need to upload my LOs, but first I need to swap out the laundry. Doing the boys' bedding so would be nice to have it all clean and dry before they get home so they can make their beds. Be back in a jif.

Would someone just shoot me and get it over with. I hurt my hip on the same side that my knee just got replaced in April. Instant swelling. I'm going to have to start using a heating pad again. Argh! here we go again. Ice, heat, ice heat. I can't seem to win lately. There's no other way to say it except getting old just plain sucks. My mind is in its late 40's, but My body tells me I'm not!!! How rude!!!

Theresa your wreath is great. Love that snowman. Also, have you heard about something called, "Light Relief?" It's supposed to help manage pain.

Barb You're just a traveling girly girl, aren't you? I'm jealous.

Debi He's not a new beau. Been together about 6 months...and he has nothing to do with any of the dating web sites. He will be here this coming Sat. because he missed his other flight. So he went home and rearranged everything. Nothing fishy, he got called back to work to make some sort of repairs, since he's going to be here for a month. Then I will go there for Valentines and stay there for awhile.

Well girlies, that's all from this part of the country.

Hanging of the greens went well. Ended up having to stand at the pulpit at the front of the church, miss read two of my lines but since no one knew what I was reading it all worked out.

Praised up while watching TV, headed to bed. Should be a busy week.

I knew I'd be back!

I did another LO...the other sketch. Yay! It's almost 9...can't decide if I want to do another or go to bed. Or maybe get a snack first.

Are you all making Christmas cards this year?

I really want to, but I don't seem motivated to design one. Is it just awful if I order them from Costco (or the like)?? I have too much to do to actually make them all...I send about 100 when I do it.

OK, I think I'm done for the night...G'night ladies. I hope your holiday season is off to a happy start!!

Well, the Thanksgiving holiday is all but over. It was our year to stay here and spend the day with Greg's parents. They are both in their 80's so we don't do any cooking. Instead we go to one of the reservation casinos. They have a Thanksgiving meal there. $3.00 and we were stuffed. We have done this every other year for a while now and Greg's parents have gone every year.
Spent the rest of the weekend putting up the tree and doing some other odd things. Did a little scrapping and some resting too.

Later all!

Ok I got my LOs loaded. Geesh that can take a long time. SO for those of you interested, here they are.

thanksgiving 2012

LINDA well in my mind 6 months is still new. I know you said there were 2 Kevins and you narrowed it down to one, but all I know of this man in your life, is he's British. More power to you for dating. I still haven't dated and it's been 9 years. Geesh!

Sorry to hear your body isn't cooperating. Mine isn't either. I swear in our heads we rarely get pass 30 but the old physical container sure know how to keep us humble. I'm dealing a lot with my RA these days and it's pretty wearing. So sorry about your hip. Hope it's only a temporary set-back. Take it easy, girl.

BARBARA sounds like you're in the scrapping mood. Glad all the holidays went well and Charlotte had a great first birthday.

THERESA between your crazy co-workers, your church participation, you watching out for your Aunt and Uncle, supporting your grandkids'(or is it nephews') sports and your own health ups and downs, I'm amazed you ever want to stop napping. But I like your spunk!

Ok I'm all spunked out. Off to bed I go. Back to routine tomorrow. Argh!

morning girls -

all is well here...the crazy weekend at J's is over. I swear, yesterday was busier than Saturday! Although the whole weekend
was crazy busy. I even scapped a little...first time in I don't know
how long, LOL. I made the mistake of drinking some coffee at J's at
about 7:30 last night, and I was up most of the night from it. I just
can't do that anymore.

Linda - I really know what you mean about getting old...when I sit too long, or stand too long, my knee is a very, very weak link.

Tammy - I'm sure it was hard to see your mom off again. Doesn't seem like her stay was very long this time. How is the job hunting going for Gary?

Theresa - I'm going to have to check out your wreaths. I've got to admit, I've not seen anyone's work this month yet...I really need to get on that. I don't get the chance at school these days...I'll have to see if I can find some time soon.

Diana - looks like your yard is going to be looking pretty good here once you get those plants in those planters

I'm looking forward to the new year and hoping I get my scrap back...
I hope we don't fall by the wayside.
Theresa, if there is anything you need for me to do, just let me know.

Well, I've got to take Kevin to work this morning (Larry needs to take the truck for a doctor's appt), so I'll need to get my butt in gear fairly early this morning...sigh.

Be back soon.

Hello everyone!

Sounds as if you all had great Thanksgiving weekends- except possibly you, Toni, what with crazy busy days at work. That's the harsh part of retail... we get like that just before Christmas when everyone wants their meds early as they don't want to come in over the holidays.

Linda- sounds as if you and Kevin are joining the jet-setters like Barbara, lol. Tell us a bit more about this guy... My Dad has just started dating again and it is killing me, but he seems ready for it. After all, my Mom was ill for a long time and he has been very lonely. I just don't have to like it, do I? I hope you didn't hurt your hip too badly. Rest it as much as you can.

Theresa - I'm with you on the messy house (and Tammy too, lol) I have been so busy with work and other stuff that the dishwasher has 2 loads, the washing isn't done and the kids' playroom looks like a bomb has gone off in there. At least I can ignore the playroom - don't HAVE to go in there for anything. But the lounge/kitchen is open-plan, so a messy scullery makes everything look untidy.

Barbara - welcome back. 15 hours in a car with 2 small kids - brave woman! I'd be chewing on the upholstery after 3 or so The vegging in front of the TV sounds like a perfect way to spend an evening. Especially in cooler weather. I'm struggling with the opposite problem these days. With summer here it is getting dark so late and the boys don't want to come inside even when it is after 7 some evenings. The fact that they have to get up for school the next day is immeterial. Luckily only 2 weeks to go before we have our summer vacation of 6 weeks.

Tina - they are throwing you in the deep end. Doing 2 jobs is going to keep you really busy. Glad Olivia's visit was fun.

Diana - the planters look great! What are you planning on planting in them? I have a pizza box full of Chritmas goodies just waiting for your tags Can't wait to play along.

Debi - I think I just figured out why I can't seem to add a picture in a post - my images are too big! Small detail, but there you are. Thanks for asking, Barbara.

Hope everyone feels better soon - sinus problems/flu is the pits. I'm on antibiotics for a recurring bladder infection too. Just can't seem to shake it. Kept me awake the other night. Ugh! Germs!

Right, need to get Sean studying. Thank heavens it's the last one (Science) tomorrow! Then I can finaally stop sounding like a harpy and pack away the nagging till next year...

Hey ladies! I tried to post this morning, but now I don't see it...hmmm....maybe I had a blonde moment and didn't hit submit.

Toni - Don't work too hard lady! Sounds like it was crazy at J's.

Linda - So sorry to hear that your hip is bothering you, that has to be so frustrating. I hope you enjoy your visit with your beau.

I finally got a couple of LO's done (I've been a huge slacker), so I thought I would post them. Here they are:

You must always remember

I have to run, I have to finish a presentation for a training that I'm doing tomorrow...yay...

Being doing my tags..lol!!! but I'm going to play along with all of you also, since I need at least 30 tags.

Barbara...to put a picture directly on the thread right click on the picture and copy the "copy image url" then come here and left click image below and past the "copy image url" unto the post. hope this helps. I used the outdoor paint that you use on your house, they have the small samples and some masonry spray paint, on the terracotta planters. on the plastic one plain spray paint.

Linda..sorry you hip has been bothering you. I don't know you but when it turns chilly here every bone in my body starts aching. Hope you feel better soon.

Michelle...It most be hard that your dad is dating, but man dont like to be alone, and the way I look at it is if he is happy then don't worry you are right you don't have to like it, just accept it, it's hard to be alone.

Toni...nice to see you.

Debi...my mom is the same way. although she has internet because of the grandkids.

Hi Ladies!

I'm going to jump in and catch up with my praising tonight. I made a batch of roasted cauliflower so I should have brain food.

I'm sorry that I've been so quiet, but I had my daughter here and that was a priority.

I actually got two more pages scrapped, and killed the November Studio Calico kit to the point where I have no guilt about putting the leftovers into my stash.

KATY thank you for all your comments on my LOs...all of them, my goodness girl you didn't have to do them all in one sitting. Probably felt like the debi show would never end. LOL, but I thank you anyway.

I felt exhausted today, not sure why. Didn't do anything but clean my kitchen which desparately needed it.

Now I'm watching dancing with the stars finale. Most of the dancers were excellent this season making it fun to watch. Wish I could dance like that.

Have a good night.

Good morning Girls!

Exams are over! Exams are over! *Doing the happy dance* I'm so pleased I don't have to fight with Sean anymore. I just hate every day being miserable to him, but if I just left him he'd do nothing.

Katy - good to see you again. You really got into the praising thing, lol. My e-mail was full this morning! Thanks so much! Hope you had a blast with your daughter and took lots of photos.

Diana - yeah, I will just have to make peace with my dad dating. You are right, they don't know how to be on their own. A friend was recently saying that, in divorce, a man leaves for another woman but a woman will leave if she is unhappy. She knows she'll be okay on her own. It seems men are like that no matter how they end up on their own. I just hope he doesn't jump into marriage.... would NOT handle that well

Off to do some grocery shopping - went to do the laundry last night and realised the washing powder was finished...

Good morning my sweeties!

Worn to a frazzle yesterday and don't think today will be any better but I'll survive. Bought a seasoned pork tenderloin over the weekend and Randy had it done when I got home and even cleaned up the mess. I just crashed on the couch with the TV.

Loving Dancing with the stars too. Sure wish I had those legs!!! Of course if I worked out like they do I would.

Michelle, congrats on getting exams out of the way. Enjoy the summer, it's 28 degrees here right now. Gets dark at 4:30 p.m. and the sun doesn't come up until after 6:30. Makes for a LONG day.

Tina, glad you had a great visit with O. Try to pace yourself at work. They can't expect you to do both jobs 100% so you keep giving to the old one until they aren't paying you anymore. They've earned your all which I know you're going to give. But I worry you'll also try to do that for the new one. They can wait, after all, they'll have you totally for the next 20 years or more.

Linda, you be careful. I worry about you even though you don't think I should.

Toni, get some rest.

Tammy, any bites on a job for Gary and how'd the EEG results come out?

Know there was more I wanted to say but didn't open another window and just saw the clock. Have to get with it.

I always say what I mean, I just may not mean to say it out loud!

Good Morning Sweet Peas!

Life here is going swell, nothing major happening today (that I'm aware of). Ron has decided to look for another job, I think he's tired of working at home alone, he needs some kind of social interaction. Hopefully he will find something that he really likes to do.

Michelle- Glad to hear that Sean is done with his exams, I'm sure that is a relief. I understand how hard it would be to have your Dad dating again, it hasn't been that long. I agree that some men just don't know how to be alone, especially if they've been married for a long time. I hope he takes things at a reasonable pace so you have time to adjust.

Diana - I can't wait to see your tags! Everything that you make is always so pretty.

Theresa - Thanks for the kind words. I'm trying to pace myself, I think the new place is just trying to include me and make sure that they don't get us into any contracts that I wouldn't want to be stuck with long-term. I've already told the folks at my place that I'm going to spend my last week there going around to all of my buildings saying goodbye to people, I just have to get some contract bids done before then.

I hope you all have a really nice day! I'm off to make copies for the finance training that I'm doing today.

Tina

Good morning, ladies!

I tried to get up here last night to say hi and catch up and I fell asleep with the lap top in my lap!! I expect to be tired on Mondays, but that was a little ridiculous!

TONI -- Wow, it sounds like life is chaotic for you these days. I'm sorry you haven't been able to scrap. We've all stretches of time like that. I hope you're able to find some time for yourself soon. And don't worry, we won't be falling by the wayside! I think we're pretty committed to keeping this chatty group together.

MELANIE -- $3?! how cool is THAT? Do you gamble...I think I'd end up increasing the cost of dinner when I was unable to control my urge to play cards after I ate. I'm sure that's why the offer that meal. I hope it was fun! Are we gonna see your latest work?? So glad you've been able to get some scrapping in!

MICHELLE -- You definitely do NOT have to like the fact that your dad is dating. I think Diana is right, men are not good at being alone. Sorry you have to deal with that. Do you have plans for the 6-week break?

LINDA -- sorry about your hip. You must be feeling like its time for all this physical stuff to be done now, huh?? It will get better. Be patient with it...pushing too fast & too hard will only make it take longer. And you definitely do not want to do anything to jeopardize that trip to London!! Will you be in London proper? Or outside the city? I have some suggestions for places to see/go if you're in the city...though I'm sure Kevin can plan most of that.

TINA -- I can't believe you are finding time to scrap! I hope that gives you a little relaxation during the craziness right now. You seem to do a great job balancing everything. You're an inspiration!!

Hi Everyone! Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!!

praised up!

While I was posting that last post Julia woke up and joined me in my bed (Daddy is already at work) and we started browsing through my gallery...

I just want to THANK YOU all for this thread, again. Looking through my work reminded me of how much you all inspire & motivated me to scrap. And I'm really, REALLY glad I have this hobby and all of you.
