Hey girls! Sorry I wasn't around today... Just felt worse. If what they say about getting worse before you get better is right, I should be better soon!

I did feel up to scrapping tonight, do I finished the layout I started like 4 nights ago!

Super excited about getting my Secret Santa I'm gonna start shopping tomorrow.

Loni- aww thanks for thinking of me! I've just had zero energy between this cold & my teeth issues. It really stinks. I did drag myself to the grocery store because I really needed to stock up!

Rach- hehe you can bet your order will be right! I saw an order from "Rachel" in my inbox & knew it must have been you!

Steph- hope you feel better soon. We can be sickies together!

Elizabeth- how'd you end up doing with the organizing today? That's a lot of work!

Monica: So sorry you feel poorly. I hope the crud goes away soon!

Millie slept for 8 hours! So I slept really well. Now I think I will be up for the day after she finishes eating.

Wow I feel real rested as I should since I went to sleep @ 7:30pm it felt good so I rolled with it. Now fixing a big southern breakfast to get the morning going.

Monica: sucks u are still under weather, but hope that was the worst now you can get to feeling better. That's good that you got to scrap.

I didn't find anything yesterday on my hunt, but not giving up. I think I may have come up with a solution for my kits, but have to talk with hubby to see about getting it and how it would work.

Well I am going to start my day and hopefully finish up some projects.

Awesome Melissa for visiting the states. Hope you are to find a Target and a lss. Lol.

Christina: good luck on the mid-term

Right now all I can think about is some more good sleep. after all that sleep I got yesterday I would think I would be wide awake. Honestly I think I am going to hit the bed early every night until Monday. It just felt that good. Off to fix lunch and put my girls down for a nap.

Hi girls!

Just a quick post before I hop into bed
Thanks for all your sweet comments and thoughts (also on IG). My fathers surgery went well luckily! He got to go home today and my mum will be with him for the next couple of days so he won't be alone all day

@ Rach: love seeing Millies pictures at IG.. She's incredibly cute! Thanks for partnering everyone up! Can't wait to assemble the stuff for my partner Will hopefully be able to do some of that this weekend

@ Elizabeth: Did you re-arange your scraparea? Do you have a spot where you can leave your scrapstuff? I'm scrapping in the living room, at the dining table so I need to clean up everytime

I'm all for sleeping these days as well.. With all the stuff that's going on at work and with my dad I just feel like I need it really bad.. So why not give in to it

@ Monica: You're not feeling well? What kind of teeth issues do you have? I'm no a wisdomteeth-issues-expert

@ Christina: good luck girl!

@ Cameel: enjoy your scrappy time!

I'm off to bed with some tea and maybe some 2peas videos before it's time to sleep.. Tomorrow is another busy day (and night) and then.... WEEKEND!! Yay! Maybe i'll have some scrappy time then

Just got home. We went o Target first and I was mad because they had a VERY small scrappy section. Darn WRMK protectors were sold out... Just got a Dymp label maker. OCD is like

TJmaxx I got 5 thickers and some AC "hooray" flairs. Wish thy had more thickers or scrappy stuff but I guess because Bellingham is small

Camille: did you find any Thickers when you went out? I am hoping for Hobby Lobby to get more Amy Tangerine Thickers. If they ever. I was glad when they were 50%a few weeks ago. Love them!
Hope you are doing good on your accounting exam. 4 parts seems like a lot and when you throw in Math it's probably too much for me. Do you get to use a calculator? That's the only way I can do any kind of math these days.

Dee: I was able to reorganize my craft area in the living room. Lol no room for me. I don't use my dining room table because it is crappy with grooves and I hate it so I would rather use a pop up table which I hate also, but a lot better then the dining room table. I have been meaning to take some pictures. Will tomorrow for sure. I still haven't found a home for my kits or projects I want together, but for now I guess I will keep them in boxes until we move.

Yeah it sounds like you need a need a good long rest and a tea or coffee buddy to chat with. Hope the stuff with your dad gets better and hope the holidays are easy on you. Did you have time to sign up for the secret Santa?

Melissa: you owe your dad a hug for you dragging him around. Lol. I also found some flairs at TJmaxx. No Thickers though. Very small department of crafting supplies. I think they are going to stop having scrapbook supplies if you ask me. They are phasing out. I use to be able to get a TON of great items there for great prices. Now I am lucky to get one thing. Sucks about the target not having any WR page protectors and such. Word spread fast. I like to order mine from Joann's because I can get 50%off. I stocked up and now have sooooo many page protectors I could easily make about 10 albums. Sad I know. I do have the kids albums that I need to finish up so some page protectors will go to them.

I had a pretty good day though. After a quick afternoon nap hubby came home and dragged us out for Ice Cream at Cold Stone which made Glori (5) hyper as all heck.she doesn't handle her sugar well. (Maybe all the coke sluppees I drank while pregnant didn't help) anyway it was still fun and I got my chalk markers and I even got a snow marker. Looking forward to testing them both out this weekend.

Well looking forward to tomorrow so I can scrapbook and spread out for weekend before I have to clean up. Hope everyone has a good night. Calling it another early night.

Elizabeth, yes I took him out for lunch while we were down there I agree with you... The Target in Bellingham doesn't have much selection regarding scrappy items. If I went more south I think I could have more luck. I just tried to order some but they're out of stock Chalk and snow markers - fun!

Curious, I am trying to purge scrap paper but I don't have the heart to throw out much... how small is too small do you think to keep?

Monica: best of luck with that. Knowing Dentist it's going to cost an arm and a. Leg, but hopefully you won't need a lot of work.

Melissa: I am tryin to purge on scraps too and I might keep a few small 3x4 pieces for page protectors with the pockets and for using on my Cricut. I went through a few weeks ago and got out all my holiday scraps and used only those for cards. Got rid of some that way, but still a work in progress. I did keep a few skinny strips. Could use for banners and flyers.

Well last night I had a rough night so today is going to be an interesting day. I m hoping to find time to scrap, but doubt I will. I hate not having a room. Taking out and putting away my stuff is getting annoying. It makes me not want to scrapbook. I have a friend who informed me the other day that after her 2day crop this month she is selling all her scrapbook supplies and no longer doing it. Guess everyone has their breaking point and lose interest for a bit. I remember when just about everyone I knew scrapbooked and was a consultant for a company. Now it's hard to find a friend to scrapbook with in your area and a consultant in your area. What is scrapbooking coming to.

My appointment went great! The cost is WAY lower than I anticipated & what they quoted over the phone. I'm pretty sure they gave me a steep discount for being uninsured. They didn't even charge the consultation fee she said because I'm uninsured! The surgery is scheduled for December 5, which is perfect - after Thanksgiving but enough time to recover before Christmas.

I'm feeling very blessed today

I have missed a lot of chatter, so trying to play catch up.

I start my new gig on Monday the 19th, looking forward to the change. I downloaded Dragon dictaction for my iPad; thanks for the tip Rachel.

I'm really excited about our secret santa swap. I have some awesome ideas of what to give my secret santa. I need to get a stocking for them and some lovely goodies.

I didn't realize there was a wishlist thing on Two Peas, so now it's full of stuff that I want, lol. It's sad. I always just had a running cart of stuff. Glad to know there is a wishlist option. One of my favorite online clothing stores has a wishlist... I use it often. www.shopruche.com

Anyhoo... I see that a few of you gals are or have been sick. I hope that everyone is feeling MUCH better and getting in plenty of scrappy time if you are sick at home during the week

This weekend I will be studying for my 3rd exam in this Research Methods course. This class isn't so bad, but the research proposal is kicking my A**. I really am not looking forward to the literature review, ugh.

However, after studying this weekend I have major plans to scrap and reorganize my scrap space, so I'll be staying up late this weekend for sure. Tonight I am taking my little hubs on a date; we are going to see Skyfall at the Movie Tavern (have dinner/drinks and a movie), so I am really looking forward to that. My husband turns 29 on Sunday, so for his bday I bought him a coat and new shoes. I hope he likes them.

Well I gotta get back to work, but I'll chat with you gals tonight

I am hoping to scrap some tonight.

Hey girlies!

We are having our second snow storm! It's the giant flakes floating every which way kind of storm. The girls lined up all their little camp chairs in front of the window to watch it. It was pretty cute.

This is great weather for scrapping, or should I write another chapter for my novel?

Rachel, Yay for 8 hours of sleep! I'm so glad she's getting on a schedule for you.

Good luck with exams Camille and Hodge and Gabrielle

Enjoy your weekend, Dee! I'm glad your dad's surgery went well.

checking in from the land of doo-doo. DS (almost 18 months) has been crapping his little brains out almost all week. I took him to the Dr on Tuesday and they said only give him water and then dry carbs on Thurs...Tuesday night we let him eat some bread 'cause he was crying and begging for food. He's too little to understand "fill up on water!" so it's been "fun" hanging with a mean little guy who can't talk yet so he can't explain what he wants.

I feel like I need to do a major purge/clean out of my scrap area soon. seems like I have to move tons of junk just to do a single thing. And I really should do it before baby #2 get here! Thinking I might try for next weekend since Hubs decided he's going camping with a friend. His original plan was to go like 2 weeks before my due date! Insane man.

@Melissa that is too bad that the Target was sold out of the WRMK pps. I have no idea how expensive it would be to ship some to you, or I would be more than willing to go and do that.

Hello ladies! Finally back, and finally have no exams coming up in the very near future to study for. My last one today was brutal. She was trying to lower the average since it was so high on the first midterm. I wish I hadn't had to write a lab report for yesterday so I could have had more time to study.

But anyways...
@ Bing-a-ling, I'm so sorry, I cant remember your name! I feel so behind with all the new ladies

@Melissa, congrats on the paper rack! I have a wooden one that some guy here makes and it changed my life when I got it.

@Loni, cute LO! What stickers did you use for the title? I think alpha stickers are my new obsession

@Gabrielle, good luck with your exams! I'm so so happy mine are over

@Monica, I'm so happy at how nice those people at the dentists were to you. A little bit of kindness can really brighten up someones day and I'm happy they brightened up yours!

Hey girlies!
I want to start off by saying how much I love you guys! Seriously. I feel like I get more support here than a lot of other places. I had posted on the Calendar Girls thread about my good news and not one.single.person commented about it - they all congratulated somebody else who got a job. Just makes me feel unimportant or something. Anyway, THANKS for all your sweet words! Seriously, today was the best day I've had in a while

So I was going to scrap tonight, but one thing led to another and I made a huge mess in my scrap stuff! I started out trying to gather stuff for my December Daily. So then I decided to purge old Christmas stuff. Then I started to purge a whole lot of other things It's amazing how I can always find things to get rid of...

I do plan to scrap tomorrow! Maybe we can have a scrap party in the chatroom?!

I have to agree with Monica and Christina! Everybody's so caring and truly interested in each other! Love that!

I had a workout hour this morning.. Was proud of myself, because I really wasn't feeling like going to the gym Anyway that's done *check* Right now I'm doing some laundry and soon will be off to clean the bathroom.. Yay! Not But.. it has to be done.. Furthermore I'm hoping for a relaxed day.. Some scrapping, some secret santa shopping

Scrapbook Area

I finally figured why I can never get a link or picture up. Now I need to figure out how to resize. Last night I got to work on my Halloween mini cover. I just need pictures now to complete that and display. I also got to complete 2 Halloween layouts and my DD helped so it was nice. I plan on working on Lilo's 1st year album. I am really hoping to also work on a few layouts too, but well see how I am feeling later.

Dee, Our plans sound pretty similar! The only difference is I didn't work out! But I love hearing about when you do. Keep telling me, so I can start doing it too!

Monica and Hodge, I wanna scrap with ya!

Your space looks nice and organized, Elizabeth. I should take a pic of mine. Just imagine a desk covered and piled high with junk on one end.

Rachel, Have fun at the game!

Dee! How are you doing with the cut it out class?

Camille, congrats on getting a silhouette for your bday! I bet you'll love it and it's really not hard to use (I don't think - I have the SD but I bet the Cameo is just as easy.) Some videos that might help are from a year or two ago when Nichol Magouirk did a making the most out of your die-cutting machine class.

LINK

Well, maybe that won't be helpful since the software is newer now. Nevermind - I'll leave it just in case it does help some.

Dee, going grocery shopping today as well with Jonny! Don't think any delicious sweets thought - Jonny doesn't eat any bc he used to be "fat".... So I rarely get to eat sweets or junk food around him. Only popcorn and if I make banana bread

Wish I could scrap with the ladies scrapping... Jonny is having a guys night (ugh lol means he'll be home late and snore bc he'll be drunk) and I think in hanging out with some of my cousins

Hi ladies!!

So awesome to come in here and feel all of the love. I agree, we have a fantastic group here!

I have a list of scrappy things to do today, but I've only completed half of one of the things LOL! I want to work on my Thankful album, get started on some DD foundation pages and pull all of the papers and embellishments I want to use for the calendar I'm making my mom. I've only had a chance to do about half of the paper pulling so far.

I ended up running a few errands, cleaned out the closet some and as soon as Chris gets home from a meeting any time now we are going to look for new apartments. Our lease is up at the end of January and we want to move to another town about 20 minutes from here. I will be a lot closer to my work and in a more central location for his business.

I'll catch up on chatter in a bit, but I wanted to go ahead and post the next Challenge (I forgot to the other night, sorry!):

November 8 - November 15:

Let's see those pretty faces!! Challenge #24 of the YS 29 Page Challenge is to scrap a photo you took of yourself. I can't wait to see all of your lovely layouts!

Camille: nice score for your birthday. Have fun with it and maybe YouTube would have some intro videos.

I did two layouts in Lilo's baby book and once Igot to her name page I started catching a headache from the candle hubby had going in the other room. Oh it started pounding and I only wanted to sleep it off. So I got on the couch. Felt pretty good, but I was on a roll with my Cricut. It probably needed a rest anyway.

Who is scrapbooking o crafting tonight? Got my card list so looking forward to making some soon. It's just just me and Lilo since hubby took Glow with him to the grocery store. A little bit of a break and much appreciated. I love my cuddle bug or coloring angel she likes to call herself.

Steph: good luck on the apt search. I am nervous about how to do a rental search in Houston though I am not there. Hope you are to find one in the area you want.

Just got some groceries and now were making ribs again for dinner... Another hour or so to go until their ready.

So ladies, I got an email the other day from the one family I wanted to work with for a while back (one son, said they were going to go with me then the day I was supposed to start they said they chose someone else). Mom emailed me asking which days I could work... Curious to hear back from her!

Wow, I feel like I've been attacked in 3 different scrapbook places online tonight (message boards & FB groups)... people are being vicious today. I just wanna cry Mean people suck.

oh, and I listed some of the stuff I purged yesterday for sale tonight, and getting no bites. It's getting harder & harder to get rid of stuff! Not to mention people basically wanting free shipping! UGHHH

That is all!

Monica, what happened? People seem to get crazier and crazier every day.

I just got home from a James Bond themed party. I was really really fun! I learned how to play Texas Hold'em, got to dress up as a bond girl and had a good time with some old family friends.

Melissa, that's really curious, keep us updated! This family sounds flightly...

Hello, ladies! I'm pretty new to scrapbooking, although I've been making cards for almost a year now. My mom, who has been paper crafting for years, cleaned out her stash, gave me the leftovers, and got me hooked!

I work in Sierra Leone, in West Africa, which means that it takes weeks and weeks and weeks for supplies to arrive. It's a good thing, because whenever I want to buy something, I have to think, "Gee, will I still want this in a month?" It's a terrible no good very bad thing because I'm almost out of dimensionals, and OMG THE WORLD IS ENDING it'll be a month before new ones arrive!" Whine whine whine right?

I'm so happy to meet you all, and to find other young women who are super into paper crafts!

Asnowballschance, welcome... Could you give a little bio about yourself? We don't have anyone from Africa here I don't think I'm Melissa, 22 and live in Vancouver, Canada. I've been scrapping since I was 12. My boyfriends name is Jonny and my dogs is Milo.

Morning ladies, what's everyone's plans for today? Jonny and I just finished breakfast (French toast, eggs and turkey bacon). Then we're heading out for lunch with some of my cousins in a bit

Wow West Africa is a new one here. Welcome and would love to learn more about you. Bio is a must. You'll have fun in this group for sure.

Melissa: I am going to fix dinner and since I am in a GOOD mood I am going to make either sweet potato pie or a new cheesecake chocolate pie.

Monica: sry you are having bad luck with mean people. What is it with some people. It's the holiday season and people should be in the caring giving spirit. Try not to let it work you up. I alway like to think mean people are unhappy at home in their own life so they try to make others miserable too. We love you so know you have friends out there that care.

Just got back from Church and waiting for hubby to return with missing ingredients. Getting in the thanksgiving mood and it's about time. Lol. I am going to do a couple more layouts in Lilo's album which will be fun. I love love love the pages I did yesterday so I am hoping I keep the flow and love the pages I make today.

Off to the kitchen. I'll check in later.
