Good evening, everyone! I didn't get a chance to get crafty at all today, but I *did* find a bunch of great Project Life journal cards to download and print. Like a few others here, I'm going to dive right in in 2013! So excited!

My husband's traveling this weekend, and I'm hoping for enough downtime to do 3-4 layouts and start my New Years cards.

Thanks Elizabeth and Loni...

I'm back to work today after 2 weeks off... Kids napping right now though. Tomorrow I work 1-11pm, parents are having date night. So no crafty time for me until the weekend perhaps.

Evening ladies Almost friday!! And I almost have my PL goodies! I got the confirmation e-mail that it got sent today I should have my goodies Monday!!

Melissa: Love the new haul, and your jammies When you go to the states to get your packages, do you have to pay duty when you cross back to Canada? There's this place in Sweetgrass MT (like 2 hours from me towards the states) that will allow you to ship your packages to them and they hold it till you pick it up and it's only like $5 for them to hold it there! So I just wondered if you pay duty when you come back over the boarder cause you haven't been in the states for like a day... so there's no exemption on goods. I still have 29 cards to make! Boo! I've already made 44 and have a total of 73 I need... so far atleast. I hope your interview goes good!

Christina: I am hoping to try to scraplift your LO this weekend! I love the green grid paper you had.

Elizabeth: You can start PL whenever! That's why it's awesome! I'm not starting mine till January, want to do a full year!

Monica: I hope your scrappy day went well! What did you scrap?

Well ladies, i'm off to look at Pinterest, or scrapbook... I work tomorrow so I can't scrap late. I'm going Christmas shopping Saturday after work (I work 11-2). I'm SUPER excited to go shopping. Have any of you started yet? Also, this may be a weird question, but what kind of coverup and concealer do you ladies use? I'm trying to find a better one!

Lisa, I've never had to pay duty... Usual I only "spend" just a little over $100 or under $100. I had fibbed a couple times when I had picked up packages and it was about $170. But when they ask "what do you pick up" and you answer scrapbook materials they generally think your innocent LOL

Today is my last day at work. I start my new job on Monday. This weekend I am studying for an exam that I take on Sunday, and I am gettin scrappy at my house with a few ladies on Saturday!! I'm super excited. I have't scrapped in a week! LOL.

Since today was my last day and I finished all my 'work' this morning, I've been reorganizing my pinterest boards, repinning and deleting boards that I never use, and I've read a whole chapter in my textbook as preparation for my exam. AND I'm getting paid for it. Thank goodness.

The last two nights I've gone to bed early because I'm feeling sick and fatigued. I've caught a cold from my sweet son who has been suffering as much as me, but he seems to be improving, so hopefully this cold doesn't stay around for long. Tonight my daughter is going to her Lita's house, and my husband are going to spend the evening cleaning and disinfecting the house. We don't want the cold to travel to anyone else in the family, the nanny, or good friends, so we MUST disinfect. It's not too bad right now for me, just at night I get the sniffles before I go to sleep. I blame it on the change in the weather and turning on the heat, lol. I refuse to admit that I might be getting sick. I must FIGHT it.

Excited about the weekend!! What are you gals up to?

Glad that you have an easy sub today Monica. Knitting and reading.. geepers. I wish I could do that at work. I wish I could do that at home, lol.

Elizabeth, I can't wait for Thanksgiving. We have tons of family to see and eat with but my tummy is hungry. Too bad, I need to lose 7 lbs, and this won't help me at all. I pinned a bunch of stuff to help me lose weight including a healthy smoothie, so we'll see!

Gab: yum a healthy smootie. I am going to check it out in a minute because we need some healthy eating over here. Hubby is on board, but days like today. (KFC night) we slip up into old habits. Have fun scrapping tomorrow!

Loni: yeah I had a nice semi nap day after messing with my mini until my back started pounding from raking leaves yesterday. I sat in bed for a good part while kids napped and watched some YouTube videos. Lazy day I guess.

Well ladies I honestly can't hold the excitement in and I just need someone to tell. I'm pregnant with baby #3 due July 20th. So excited and shocked, but like I Sid excited. Only 4wks6days along (I know super early) but I've known for a week now and went to get it confirmed yesterday. Told hubby last night and h was excited and funny enough already thinking of his little army of cute kids. Lol. We aren't telling friends and family really until next month probably around Christmas. That is if we can go that long holding a secret. Lol. Clearly I am no good at it right.

Well off to Pinterest to check out smoothies.

OMG congrats Elizabeth. That is wonderful news; were you guys trying? Are you shocked? I know that I nearly had a heart attack when I realized I was pregnant with Sawyer. I figured it out early too. After the first one you just have an inkling that something is up right before that missed period. I am super happy for you.

So glad that my day is coming to an end. I am currently laying in my bed with the iPad nursing myself back to health with water, vitamins, and Tylenol. My head is killing me and my nose is a drippy faucet.. I should be bfeeling better tomorrow morn though. I did a lot tonight and now I am paying for it.

Nighty night gals!

Congrats Elizabeth!!!

I so want to vent regarding someone's responses (no one on here) to threads lately. I feel like crawling thru the screen and slapping them whenever I see their responses and how they just are not needed at times. I don't even want to mention the name on here and I really feel like venting. Maybe next time during a chat session I can get out my anger over the issue. I know people like that will always be around the boards, but sometimes I feel like if you don't have an answer to a specific question, then don't post. Vent over...anyone get some scrapping done this weekend???

Welcome Dawn! You will be love this group of ladies and I'm pretty sure it's okay if you don't do all the layouts on page 1 in the challenge. My name is Elizabeth, live in OK, hubby, 2 daughters and no pets. Look forward to getting to know you.

Melissa: that stinks. Hopefully it won't last long and you can scrap tomorrow. I was wondering if you used the travel Cricut cartridge yet? Wondering if I should buy it during Black Friday. Really going to look for the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge which is super cute.

Still feeling blah and wanting to watch a movie, but nothing on Netflix according to hubby. Hopefully with thanksgiving next week I will start to cheer up. Looking forward to a glazed turkey and yes my favorite cranberry sauce. Lol. Love it!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday. Kinda slow for us, but with Thanksgiving around the corner I am sure everyone is probably preparing and such.

I dragged myself out of bed even though I was wasn't feeling to great. Went to check out Michaels Cricut cartridge sale before church and so disappointed, had none of the cartridges I wanted so I caved and just ordered one from Walmart at full price. After church we went to the mall and I was able to find a nice blouse and sweater from NY&co half off with the perfect necklace. Can't wait to wear it next Sunday. I have almost no fall or winter clothes since everything is either big or way small. I dug in the maternity box this morning and found some old jeans from my first and they fit so I wore those. Anyway glad I got half an outfit today. Made my day for the most part and after all the running around I needed a nap so hubby let rest with the heated blanket while he cooked and watched the kids. Maybe being pregnant isn't so bad lol.

Off to watch some TV and bed. Chat with you ladies tomorrow.

Morning ladies!

Dawn: sounds like you had a fun weekend scrapping and enjoying the kids. Love Christmas lights and can't wait to get the tree up and house decorated. Have fun with the kids today. Mine are probably going to want to go to the park. Burr but it's chilly out. Lol. We'll probably go.

Well glad the weekend is over with and I can start counting down to Thanksgiving. Yum. I am hoping to scrapbook today because I did nothing crafty over the weekend. Lol. Been way too tired, but hoping to get my butt in gear today. Hopefully. Kids rooms are rocks and their clothes are all mixed up and not put away right, but dad was in charge this weekend so I won't complain too much I guess.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hey gals! Sorry I haven't been around much!! So busy.

I got caught up on Millie's album last night. Less scrapbooking, more printing pictures. I have now stored journaling cards in my planner do I can journal while I pump at work.

It is so great to have my brother home. I handed Millie over to him this morning with a bottle and she calmed right down! Yay!

We are hosting a thanksgiving meal at our house on Sunday after Millie's baptism! Should be fun and crowded.

Rachel: awesome news about your brother and Millie bonding so sweet. I bet you captured a tons of photos. That's great that you got caught up on Millie's album. Sounds like you will have a lot to be thankful for on Sunday. Have fun celebrating and eating good food around great company. I am having to pull myself back from shopping anymore. Lol. I am still waiting on my packages to come and getting pretty inpatient. I need to do a few more things, but can't seem to get my butt in gear. Need a push. Is it too early for Christ,as music? Lol. I need it so bad and told hubby I wanted a new holiday CD. Lol.

Well I guess I will get off the computer and start finishing up my SS. I still need to go buy a stocking and some wrapping paper. I'll check back on later tonight and hopefully I will have done something today.

He only slept for 30 min for his nap and now is cranky he usually is awake by from his nap when I get here so I've never had to put him down for a nap unless if he falls asleep in the stroller... The parents use the same routine of story and rocking to sleep but I guess nap time is different for him..

Will catch up tonight

Sry Melissa I wasn't around to give advice earlier. Here is what I do with my 30 month old and have done since she was a baby. One routine is key. Knowing what the parents do is important to stay consistent, we have a leapfrog bear that has a night time music feature. 10 mins of music is a blessing and soother. Will post link. Also just placing them in the bed after a book and some rocking and closing the door. They will either go to sleep or run a muck. Some times people will say "oh that age they no longer take naps". Yeah but doesn't mean they don't need one. Lol I make my 5 year rest in her bed for a little and then play in her room for a little while the youngest gets in a full 2 hours maybe more or less depending. Another thing my sister taught me (everyone knows it, but I just started doing) run the kids until they are begging for a nap. Always on the move, playing and moving around. Making them use up all their energy and also waking up at a good time no later than 7. Good luck!

ok, so i haven't gotten to scrappin, but i did just do an entire sketch (something I have NEVER done for a page before) because I don't know that I have ever made an attempt at getting so many pics scrapped at the same time, so I have a question. Since I am doing a december daily, I wanted to use this 10 pic for our christmas layout. Would it be ok if I do it and upload it with white index cards cut to the sizes the pics will be? I'll be printing pics as we go through the entire season, so should be able to add the pics to it before the end of the year, but wanted to check first to see if it was ok, if not i will go back to the sketch pad and see what pics i could use that i do have printed to use for the 10 pic page on the challenge

Good morning! Morning sickness almost caught me this morning, but thank goodness it passed and hubby worked my nerves so I cleaned the house. Still pretty annoyed, but my back is starting to ache so I guess my mad cleaning will have a wait a little. Kind of looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, but wish I was with my mom and my dad was still alive. Oh we'll. my plans for Thanksgiving has changed this year and we are going out for dinner instead of cooking at home. Has pros and cons, but honestly I don't want to eat at a buffet pregnant for Thanksgiving. Not my idea of a good Thanksgiving. We went to a buffet for Lilo's first Thanksgiving and one year when Glori was 2 but it's not like home cooking. Pretty down I guess right now and not sure when I'll snap out of it.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a better day than me. Hopefully after Thanksgiving people will chat more. To kill empty time I signed up for a baby month club forum so it's nice chatting with people all pregnant due around the same time.

Guess I can work on some challenges today.

hi girls!
Sorry I haven't been chatty lately - just so much going on! I've been trying to work a bit, but geez the subbing jobs are SO competitive. I have 2 interviews for next week, though, so I'm hopeful that something will work out! I've been working on getting my Secret Santa package ready Also have had a ton of projects going in anticipation of Christmas. And my Etsy shop is REALLY keeping me on my feet. Tons of work there!

This afternoon I'm scrapping with some friends. First time actually scrapping in a while. I'm going to work on a mini album to give my niece for Christmas.

What are everyone's Thanksgiving plans?

My mom & I are going to one set of cousins' house for breakfast & mimosas (tradition), back to the house to cook, and then another set of cousins' house for Thanksgiving dinner. One of the local movie theaters is playing Planes, Trains, & Automobiles that night so we might do that. Or I might go early Black Friday shopping with my cousin... haven't decided yet.

@Dawn, Welcome! I'm Melissa, 22. My boyfriend's name is Jonny and I have a long hair chihuahua named Milo. I work several jobs, mainly with special needs

@Elizabeth, I haven't been able to try to travel cartridge yet. Just no time to scrap lately. Oh I hope you feel better and that morning sickness doesn't continue through your whole pregnancy!

@Rachel, I'm pretty much done SS Just got to make the handmade item and pack it up Love the pics of Millie and your bro.

@Monica, what are the 2 interviews for? Good luck!

I have my interview with the billionaire family that I mentioned tomorrow and then another for an on-call teacher position for a school board on Monday.

Hi guys! I just wanted to say hello real quick. I've got a lot of personal stuff going on right now, so I haven't been able to catch up with you all. So maybe tomorrow!? haha, or maybe next week.

Have a great day!

I'm still recovering from the weekend we had friends over from england so we had a great but very busy weekend! it went by so fast, but I had far too little sleep, so need to get some extra during this week work has been crazy busy already these first two days.. Oh well.. three more days and there's another weekend

Can't wait to see what everyone's getting for SSS.. so much fun! Ordered some stuff that arrived last friday.. (also some for myself) Can't wait to pack it up this weekend!

Can't wait to see your stamps! So great to design them yourself!

Did you have the interview already? Hope all goes well!

@ Elizabeth: I know what you mean.. Especially now it gets dark so early.. Really need to photograph my layouts in the weekend, because during the week I leave the house whilst it's still dark and come home when it's already dark

Congrats by the way with the new baby on the way! You better get scrapping on the album of your youngest now

@ Rachel: dentist is not my friend since he removed my three wisdom teeth the last time i visited

Saw some cute pics on IG of your brother and Millie.. so sweet!

@ Dawn: Welcome! I'm Dee from the netherlands, 26 years old and living together with my fiancé in the city. We have no kids (yet) and no pets either

@ Monica: what's subbing?

@ Loni: it seems we're all extremely busy don't worry! Just hope it's nothing too serious and that you are all right! Take care!

That's it for now for me.. I'm off to bed.. These days I'm so boring.. Sleep and work; it's all I do
