Okay just got back from my doctors appointment and everything is okay. Baby looks good for what the doc could see and is measuring right on track. I am embarrassed to say that my stomach pain is from constipation. Tmi I know. The spotting not sure, but I have another appointment in 2 weeks so hopefully everything will stay good with the baby. Morning sickness might have me down and out, but I know that will pass.
Hopefully I can get in the mood to make some cards this weekend and scrapbook.
Hope everyone had a good day. Haven't read old post so I'll try todo that because seems like I am missing out on some news. |

Rach, adorable pictures! Oh my goodness you have such a cute family. Millie is such a darling!
Elizabeth, good to hear the baby is still okay. I don't think I was able to congratulate you earlier! Congrats!
Dawn, Hi there! I don't thinkI was around to say hi to you earlier. I'm Christina, from Canada, University student studying science, so I pop in whenever I dont have any exams or assignments due immediately. You have certainly done a great deal of scrapping, I think you might finish the challenges before me! I can't wait to see the pages you upload next.
Loni, Hi! How are you? How's it going?
Bethany, I'm so sorry for your loss, it's unfortunate you weren't able to hear it from your family, Facebook is too impersonal and thoughtless to hear that kind of news on
Melissa, where are you going on your trip??
Final Exams start in 2 weeks. OMG so stressed. Good news is I go to Mexico after they're all done and then my bf is coming up to visit when I get home. |

Christina,
Thanks for that intro. I'll be starting to work on the challenge layouts today. i'll be working on that til they are all done. I have a goal to get 50 done before 12/31 and I think I have like 34 already done! Woot Woot! So working on the challenge will certainly be fun!
So, I am trying to stay on a budget with scrapbooking stuff and I think I may have made a huge mistake, my mother in law asked for a wish list for christmas, so I gave her the very things I wanted to buy next... The Project Life stuff! Grrr! Now I have to take a look and see what all I wanna get for me. I do know that a Cameo is on my list. I looked at it last night and fell in LOVE! I think I may be way far over the Cricut now! And I've had mine for 3 years! Are there any go to supplies that you just HAVE to have when you scrap??? I am rebuilding my supplies and wanted to see what all I needed to get back in stock. I know I need prima's, and I didn't tell her about those, but I told her about all the other things... LOL |

Glad I am not the only one to fall off the chatter wagon.
I started my new job 2 Mondays ago and boy is it overwhelming. Insolvent drained when I get home each night that I just fall asleep while sitting on the couch nursing Sawyer. I am exhausted. School is wrapping up but I have a huge project due soon so I'm trying to get that done. My Internet connection has been down for a few days at home so I. Can't work on my project and end up falling asleep. Got a few goodies on BF. finishing up SS, so I can send out the gifts by next week.
Elizabeth I am glad to here that you are alright but I am sorry about the little scare you had.
Bethany I am sorry for your loss. I've went through that just a year ago. It's still tender. Thinking of you.
Can't believe that the month is nearly over. How time flies!! |

Also to our newbies if I haven't already introduced myself, I am Gabrielle. I live in North Texas. I am a working mom of two under 4, happily married for 6 years, 26, and I am enrolled in grad school part time. I just began a new job so I am unusually overwhelmed and just trying to catch up on normal life stuff. I've been scrapping since 2009, and I have only done a few of the 29 challenges

Christina, good luck on your last exam! We are going to Thailand, Cambodia, maybe Vietnam and Malaysia
Elizabeth, that's great news
I was supposed to work today but I am sick again. I was going just to drug up but I know I was pushing myself and needed a bit of a break. Going to scrap in a little bit, anyone else?

Whew, so I'm not the only one who's been MIA on this thread. Life's a little busy around the end of the year (but I'm sure you all knew that already )
Christina: Good luck on your finals, don't procrastinate! and Also have fun in Mexico
Dawn: I got a Cameo for my bday earlier this month. I haven't had the time to play around with it a lot, but when I do, I love it The supplies I absolutely MUST HAVE when I scrap are pattern papers, paper punches, washi tape, and buttons. Also foam squares/pop dots. Love dimension and layers in my layouts!
Gabrielle: Good luck on your big school project. What are you studying in grad school? And hope your new job gets easier over time.
Melissa: Hope you feel better, being sick during the holidays isn't fun... and congrats on the feature! i'll watch the vid once i get home
Life's peachy, everyone. Work + studying is draining but that just means I look forward to my weekends. I'm trying to purge purge purge my stash of papers so I think I might spend this weekend cutting down my scraps to 3x4 or 4x6 and make my own kit for PL2013. Anyone else do project life or planning to do it in 2013? |

Anyone wanna help me out with a boyfriend problem? So my boyfriend is long distance (6 hours away) and we've been dating for a year. He was planning on moving up to where I live in a year and a half from now to do graduate studies. But now his research boss is trying to convince him to stay down there for grad studies because he'll get a better project, better equipment and won't have to move away from home. But that means he'll have to stay down there for 4.5 more years which means 4.5 more years of me only seeing him every 5 months. I can't do that. No matter how much I'd like to end up with him, and no matter how much I would like him to do well and get a good research project, I can't put myself through 4.5 more years of this. What do you ladies think? What should I do? Should I tell him what I'm thinking? I don't want to influence his decision or give him an ultimatum.
Help me? |

Christina,
I have never been where you are, so this is a very hard decision, however my husband does work out of ton ALOT! He got home on the night before Thanksgiving after a 6 week trip to New Hampshire, New York, Conneticut, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. In his line of work, sometimes he has to travel a lot! He left again on Tuesday Morning after just a few days home with us for Pensacola. He has at least 2 weeks there. So, here's my advice, TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL. It's very hard to have a serious relationship long distance. We've been married for 10 years and this year with this new job has been the hardest year we have ever had. The girls miss him. I miss him. He misses us, but we all know and understand that right now with the state of the economy, until he can get local work and get competitive pay, we have to deal with the alternative which is him being gone quite often. This week, he's making about 21 an hour because he's on an army base doing something for him, but normally he makes 14.5 an hour. When he's out of town, he gets more hours, so that helps, but it is very hard on our relationship. If I were you, I would tell him how you feel. I would try and guilt him into doing anything, but I would just lay it on the table and let him decide. If you are feelign this way, he's bound to be feeling the same way. Just coming to some sort of resolution needs to be a joint thing and you both need to lay on the table the pro's and cons of both situations... wish I could be of more help |

Cam, thanks!
Christina, I think you should tell him how you feel. In the end you need to figure out what makes you happy and what's best for you! I think it is fair for you to tell him how you feel but make sure your mot making him feel like he has to choose - does that make sense? What do you want in your future (married by what age, kids?). Is there and possibility of you moving down where he lives? Although I'm 22 I would like to get married by the age of 27. Many of my girlfriends ask when jonny and I are going to move in together and I've told myself I am giving him 2 more years to ask me to move in but I know if I push him it'll drive him away, which may happen to you if you are pushy with him (doubt you are)!
Started switching my albums (CM to AC 3 rings)... I just ended up cutting the edges off the CM pages slipping them into my WRMK pp. the one thing is that CM didn't have "true" 12x12 pages for a while so pages are a bit smaller than 12x12 which means I may have to redo some LOs |

Thanks Dawn and Melissa. I'm the kind of person who refuses to give up, usually because of stubbornness or pride, but you're right, I do have to think of my own feelings and his too. I think what'll happen is he chooses where he want to go to school and I'll try my best to stick through it, but if there's a time that enough is enough I'm just going to have to let it go. And I'll definitely let him know that, but that whatever he decides wont be the end of things, it'll all depend on how it goes after that.
Dawn, that must be incredibly difficult, I can't imagine having to do this all with kids at the same time too. Hopefully he gets transferred soon so he can be home with you again, long distance sucks monkey butt.
Melissa, I think that's a good timeline, you're giving yourself a chance to live your life and travel before settling down and I really want to do that too. Hopefully Jonny bites the bullet and figures out what a catch you are ASAP |

Christina, I think that sounds good to try to work it out first - one day at a time. BUT you need to make sure you are happy first! Just make sure to tell him what you told us that you'll try to stick it out but cannot promise anything.
Haha your too sweet... I think his timeline is kinds ticking since he's 29 |

Hi girls!
Yay! The weekend has started! I feel like I'm living from one weekend to another lately.. Really need the weekends to cool off, relax.. spend time with the ones I love! Luckily my past weekends have been great and have a lot to look forward to as well..
This weekend probably will be less busy than the past two ones, but i can do with some couch time, so that's a good thing
went out for a quick meal tonight with my love and afterwards packed up my SecretSanta package, so will bring that to the postoffice tomorrow.. Let's hope it'll reach my partner in time Also spent some time making cuts for a friend with my cameo... I think I infected her with the scrappy virus
Anyway.. what have you girls been up to and what are your plans for this weekend?
@ Rach: loved seeing Millie's baptism outfit on IG! Love her pics in general.. She looks absolutely adorable!
@ Loni: bought loads of Sil files the past week with the 1/2 price sale! Had $30 worth of giftcards still and not that many files yet, so picked out a lot! Did you get anything?
@ Bethany: so sorry for your loss! Alzheimer's really is a horrible disease!
@ Christina: good luck with your exams and the studying! Would love to visit Mexico one day! Sounds awesome! Make sure to show us some pics when you get back
What a horrible decision to make with regard to your bf.. I've been nowhere near this situation.. never had a long distance relationship, but I can imagine you wouldn't want to put yourself through this for such a long period of time.. And maybe that feeling says it all.. You should def tell him how you feel.. It's so important to share those things.. And why not just see how it goes?
That's it for now I'll finish of my last cut and then I'm off to bed! Hope to catch you girls some more later this weekend | |

Hey guys! Work has been soooo busy this week. The other supervisor left for a new job within the company and her replacement doesn't start until the 10th. We have a pretty volatile family on my team right now so there have been lots of late nights and such.
I am holding out for another week in hopes things slow down.
I am putting up our Christmas tree tonight and doing a TON of laundry. I really want to scrap later or at least get the photos printed.
Anyone wanna chat tonight?? |
