I bought two sets of them and I've tried them with glimmer mists and sprinklers, the color just beads and pools. I've also tried Distress Inks and the color is very muted. Anyone have something that adheres to them well and gives a nice pop of color?

If I am remembering correctly, In the ads I saw for them, they were using sharpies! I sure hope that is right because that's why I bought them... I have lots of sharpies because I collect office supplies like I do scrap supplies

You could use alcohol inks or Stazon. It needs to be a permanant ink used for glossy surfaces.

When I use a paper towel to wipe up the excess, all the color wipes off

Try a very thin coat of Glue 'n Seal brushed on, dried well then colouring mediums like DI's & Glimmer Mists will probably stick better-- I admit I have not tried this on the product you mention but Glue 'n Seal is my go-to product to make slick surfaces "take" inks etc.

You could use gesso, then use your color over that. The gesso will seal it so the color will pop

I have 3 packages coming to me. I was under the impression that my mists would work. I have several bottles of alcohol ink. I wonder if it would work if I make my own mists using the alcohol inks? When I get them I will try & let you all know.
