I had a 50% off coupon for JoAnn's from their holiday gift/decor idea magazine (came in the mail). I hope I'm very happy with it. Will go give it a whirl in a bit.

I know how the 'never needs replacing' blade works. It's just how I had a feeling it was - it's a self-sharpening blade (that's why it has that metal piece next to the blade).

I'm torn between the procision and the cutterpillar pro. How do you like it so far?

Well, I only used it to trim down two pieces of 12 x 12 to 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. I'm not sure that it's perfectly square if you go by butting the paper up against the ridge but if it's not, it's by the slightest bit. I tend to go by the gridlines anyway and as far as I can tell, that works well.

I was thinking you meant to say: I got the position! As in a job. I was hoping you could spell better than that if you did....lol

I don't know what a procision is, so I won't comment. Glad you like it, though!

I have the CPP and my good friend has the PC.
Mine is much heavier, but cut quality is the same, IMO. I have one of the original CPP and wouldn't trade it for anything, but I don't think you can go wrong with the PC, either.

I got one today for only $54 with the 25% off M's coupon. It's technically for my birthday tomorrow, so I haven't tried it yet.
