Anyone else notice the typo on the Shift paper from the Lucille line?
Here I'd like to use that part of the paper for a sewing mini album. Can you spot it?
I emailed the company, but haven't heard back yet. I remember last year when MME had the December die-cut typo and they sent out replacements.

That's pretty bad, all those errors on papers that are sold for their "sayings". Where are the educated proof readers? or is that a dying breed? Reminds me of that old joke - "Bad spellers of the world - untie!"

Tina, this thread has spawned a blog post for me about typos and errors in scrapbooking products. Will you please PM me or post details on what embellishment or line that was from? I'd like to include it.
And everyone else please come add yours too! If I can find images of what you're referring to, I'll include them.

Erika, I would love to see your blog post when you're done. Stuff like this just baffles me and gives me a good giggle.
The "I am home when I am" is from the American Crafts Soho Garden line. It's a chipboard embellishment you can see here . It's the bottom right tag with the pink butterfly. Online it clearly says "I am home when I am with you". In person what was shipped to the LSS just says "I am home when I am"

Was this paper made in China? Wow....
Maybe, but what does that have to do with spelling? It was designed by an American company in Utah. The manufacturers produce the images they are given. In the same way Kinko's isn't culpable for a typo on a brochure a customer has printed, it's nothing to do with anyone in China if someone in the USA fails to proofread.

Years ago Pebbles had a cute embellishment sheet wherein one of the tags read, "Your Special."
My special what?
Perhaps a proofreader would have noticed that the phrase should be "You're Special."
Yes, editors and proofreaders are necessary, even if the product only costs $1.00. Newspapers cost less than $1.00. But maybe that's a bad example since newspapers don't seem to employ proofreaders anymore.

A sad commentary on the state of education in this country. I wonder how many people will purchase the paper and not even notice the errors.
Or care. | |

There is this paper where "Christmas" is misspelled. This paper from WRMK is cute - but notice the tag on the top with the little red dog house? It says "A house is not a home without dog" instead of "without a dog"
These were the only two I could think of right now that hadn't already been mentioned. What a fun blog post!

Still haven't heard from BG about this. Sure they are busy with their warehouse box sales... Maybe this paper's in them. LOL.
I ordered this online so didn't see each paper, got a pack. I know things can slip through the cracks, but this one sheet has SO many errors!! Being a themed paper it is all that more important to get the terms correct. It's not like a crafty sewing fan isn't going to notice bais!
