them would be? Ordered week before last. Last week it said "processing". I emailed the end of last week and was told it would ship out EARLY this week. Now I am told that they don't even actually HAVE the stuff yet. But hey, next week maybe? You know, AS THEY GET IT IN. Argggghhhh!

***update*** 17 days after my order was paid for, it still has not shipped. I have emailed again, but didn't get a reply. When I call the customer service number, I get an answering machine telling me to leave a message or to email! Safe to say that if I ever do get my merchandise, I will NEVER order from them again.

After it took 5 weeks for my last order, I swore never to order from them ever again.

They don't care about customer service.

I pre-ordered for the very first time from another company(not Oh My crafts) and it has been 2 1/2 months and I am still waiting on my order, I don't think I will ever pre-order again.

I know the majority of people have had problems ordering from OMC, but I have never had a bad experience or shipping delay. I ordered my Cameo from them last April and got it within a week of ordering. Maybe I just got lucky?

Yeah, I see all of these posts about their shipping, but I ordered around February and got mine 2 weeks earlier than they originally stated. Sorry you have to wait, but the price they offer is good.

That's a shame. I have ordered from them for years. I have never had a problem. I even bought my cricut E from them. Always got my orders within 2 weeks.

I too am waiting on a pre order back from Sep. not from OMC either. It's that stupid date stamp. I wonder if I will even get it. Fortunately it was much. I'm done with pre orders too! Ugh!

I haven't ordered from them in awhile but was a frequent shopper there and never had issues. I even pre-ordered my Cameo from them last year and got it when they said I would. I'm sorry you are having a bad experience with them.

It wasn't a preorder, just some Sizzix dies to finish my Christmas cards. I can wait another week, but the were not listed as out of stock, and it was not during a major sale. It's just a pain in the butt.

Me too! I'm betting it is from the same company. I'm going to give them until after Thanksgiving then I will be emailing again. What I don't like is that they took my money right when I ordered. I don't think they should do that until they actually have the item in stock.

I have placed several orders with OMC and have never had a real problem. I pre-ordered my Cameo from them and got it earlier than quoted. I was missing an item and emailed them and got a response the same day and my missing item was shipped out quickly.

As for the charging when you pre-order another poster mentioned, it does clearly state that is their policy. If you don't agree to it, don't shop there.

OP - sorry that you are having issues. That would be frustrating for it not to be a pre-order and not be listed as out of stock. And to not get a reply back when you email...I'd be angry too.

I work in customer support and sometimes our emails are kicked back because they've been marked as spam, so they never make it to inboxes or even spam. You may need to make them a "safe" contact? customercare@ohmycrafts.com and support@ohmycrafts.zendesk.com are two of their emails addresses.

Have you filed a dispute w/your credit card company? I know it's a pain in the rear, but try and get the payment stopped and get out of this if you can. How does this company stay in business?

There are a couple of members of the ATT board that are fed up with this company.

They have had to stop their CC, and are filing complaints with BBB and another agency.

Boy, I would steer clear. Sorry that doesn't help the OP.

It really does seem wrong that they took your money without any reliable idea of when they would actually have the product in stock.

I had the same problems with OMC. In fact, I didn't get a response from them until I sent an email stating that if I didn't get a response, and a date my product would be mailed I would be cancelling my order.

Some would say coincidence, but my order shipped out first thing the next morning after my email. After being 3 weeks past the original delivery date, and after having the customer service tell me that they were waiting on orders to come in.

As far as pre-orders, unless something has changed, if you use VISA/Amex/Mastercard the regulations stated a company can not charge you until the item is in shipping/handling. Hence why Amazon doesn't change you on pre-orders until the item ships. I could be wrong, and the regulations could have changed.

I own a cross stitch shop and my credit card processor agreement states that I can't charge someone's card until I've shipped the item(s). It's been a while since I've researched it, but I'm pretty sure there are FTC regulations to the same effect. Have they charged your card or just done an authorization? It's two different things. If they've completed the charge, I would file with the credit card company to get my money back and buy from another more reputable shop. That's what I finally had to do when I bought my Silhouette Cameo. I waited forEVER for them to ship. My promised date came and went. After another month beyond that date, I finally canceled and bought from Amazon instead. I paid a little more, but I received the machine in less than a week.

See, that's not okay. It doesn't natter if they state it up front. It's illegal to charge before shipping, violating FTC regulations.

Yesterday I had left a message that I wanted to get a call back with an ACTUAL ship date. I also filed a complaint on the BBB website in their area. About 3 hours later, a customer service rep called and said they had all but one of my products in stock and would ship the out of stock item at no extra charge to me in a separate package, and shipped the rest of my order out yesterday. No, I will never order from them again, regardless of their prices. Lesson learned.

Oh! To answer one of the previous posters, it wasn't a pre-auth on my card, it was a charge, and it was completed and they were paid in full on October 31.

Hopefully I will actually get all of my items and soon!

this is just FYI for everyone on the pre-charging of credits cards:

"As for the charging when you pre-order another poster mentioned, it does clearly state that is their policy. If you don't agree to it, don't shop there. "

See, that's not okay. It doesn't natter if they state it up front. It's illegal to charge before shipping, violating FTC regulations.

Copied directly from here: FTC

Ship Dates
By law, a merchant should ship your order within the time stated in its ads or over the phone. If the merchant doesn't promise a time, you can expect it to ship your order within 30 days.
The shipment "clock" begins when the merchant receives a "properly completed order." That includes your name, address and payment (check, money order or authorization to charge an existing credit account - whether the account is debited at that time or not).
If the merchant doesn't promise a shipping time and you are applying for credit to pay for your purchase, the merchant has an additional 20 days (50 days total) to establish the account and ship the merchandise.

So the law does not state that they cannot charge your credit card for pre-ordered/non-shipped items. Not trying to justify OMC in this particular situation, just clarifying my original statement that they are clear in their policy and it is up to the consumer to agree to it or not. It really sounds like maybe they are not adhering to the policy that they have to notify customers of delays in shipment, but they are not in the wrong for pre-charging for items.

Of course for the OP, if the item was listed in stock and and was not shipped when paid for, I agree OMC is in the wrong.

I belong in a Facebook group where members had ordered at OMC. 1 of them waay back Sept and 2 others October and another just recently. All of them has not received their Cameos yet.

They all cancelled their order as 1 member suggested. Email OMC. Overstock.com has it for the same price as OMC but you get it within 2-3 days.

If its other items you want to order, they may or may not ship it right away, but I know for sure that with Cameos you have to wait for months.

The item was listed as in stock when I ordered it, on October 31. It continued to be listed as in stock every single time I checked back, and I checked back often until I got mine. I finally received my last item in January. It was the Tim Holtz Gingerbread Man die. Guess those ornaments will wait til next year!

But no, I will never again, no matter what the reason, be willing to order from OMC again. NEVER.

well, OMC jus get me fire up!!
I place my first order in Oct last year, and the next day they sent me email saying it's on processing status. About 3 week into it, they sent another email saying they are sending partial shipment of my first order. Then, I'm getting an email about special saving code that I need to use in a week of time. I place another order because of that special code. I received partial of my first order, and I was happy. Then I didn't hear anything about the rest of the order or even my second order for a long time.
I started to forget about my order until I read people are complaining on their facebook page. This is like 2 months into my first order. I sent an email with them with no luck of anyone getting back to me, so I bombarded their Facebook page. They sent me my second order right away that week. Then, I asked them about the half of my first order, and I can't get any answer from them. They told me a delay shipment of sizzix embossing folder that cause delay on my order, but I didn't order sizzix embossing folder. I called, email, and Facebook and didn't get any clear answer of anything. I file complaint with my CC, and I ask for my money back. The process takes forever, I just receive the refund into my account in the last week (so about 2 months time of emailing and filing a complaint form).
OMC deleted all of the complaints on their facebook page, and they are banning customer wall post at this time. That company is the worst! I will never ever ordering from them anymore. I don't care that they price are steep, it's just not worth it for all the stress waiting and complaining about your order.

I wonder if they are feeling the pressure from all the backlash. I got an email today. They never actually sent me a response to all the other emails I sent them.

We know that you have been waiting a long time for a few items on order *******. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.

Our order fulfillment team and automated process determined that the current inventory and expected new inventory from our suppliers is not enough to allow us to ship these remaining items in the near future.

We have issued a store credit for $9.58 an additional bonus credit of $5, for a total store credit of $15. The code is: ******* You may go ahead and use this code at any time and no further response is required.

If you would just prefer a refund of $9.58 for these items, please contact customer service by email (customercare@ohmycrafts.com) with your order number.

FINALLY!!!!

Same issue here. I ordered (and my Paypal acct charged) on 1/28/13 for items that were supposed to ship by mid-February. I've emailed several times and always get a canned response, but what really irks me is that they didn't even have the product to sell!! They are still waiting on part of my $185 order to arrive before they will ship. I finally decided to request an order cancellation via an email to them..and now I'm just hearing crickets...no response from the company. If no response is received from them tomorrow, I will be filing a reverse charge with Paypal as well as placing a BBB complaint. I am more than dismayed by the OMC terrible (if not unlawful) business practices.

I gave them a chance despite the bad press, but never again! I have had multiple issues and orders which took over 2 months to arrive. Also when issued a refund, they charged ME a fee. Now I wrote them back to have that refunded and to cancel my pending order and have not heard back. They are just terrible and I don't care what their prices are, I am never ordering from them again. It is too hit or miss with them when so many other companies do great. Part of shopping for me is the experience to have fun and it is no fun when you have to keep pestering a company to get goods which you paid for 2 months prior. Poor communication and poor customer service outweighs cheap in my mind!

I wish I had checked with the Peas before ordering from Oh My Crafts!

On 2/18 I ordered 4 of their Bazzill packs - $81.97 altogether...it wasn't supposed to ship until 3/25 or so. Fine. April came and nothing. Got one email on 4/8 saying that Bazzill had been swamped with orders because OMC had miscalculated the popularity of the "event", but that the paper was supposed to be in their warehouse by 4/12, and they'd start shipping. It's almost May 3rd, and still nothing. I had sent an email last week and got a snarky email - a cut & paste of the one from 4/8 with the subject line "Please RE-READ." I felt like saying "I DID read it, you witch - why don't YOU abide by what you wrote?"
Sent them another email Tuesday night, and other than the canned "you'll get a response in 48 hours" - nothing. Sent another one tonight, and then decided to do a search to see what the scoop is on them. I should have done that first. I think I'm just going to give up on ever seeing the paper, and dispute it through Paypal so I can get my money back. It's not a good deal after all, I don't care what they say. I will never fall for their scam again, and they'd better believe I will spread the word far and wide!

I don't know of a direct number since they never answer the phone. I used to get a call back within a day but then I think they started primarily replying by email.

This past week, I finally obtained a refund from them regarding an order that I placed in February. They gave the option of a store credit with an additional $10 gift or a refund. I opted for the refund. That was my last order from them.

I can understand that they offer incredible prices with the stipulation that you must wait for your goods. I think when it gets over 2 months, however, that I am willing to pay for the speed of getting my items.

Hopefully they will do right by you and you can get your situation settled. They usually do. It just takes a ton of effort unfortunately.

I don't think it's legal for them to take your money before they ship your product.

What you have to do with Oh my crafts is
1.Not order from them at all(I hadn't received my items for 6 months!)
2.File with BBB

I filed with BBB after not receiving my items for 6 months(and had been ignored multiple emails) I let them know I filed them, within an hour, I received an email back and finally they tried to help me. They are not honest and I'll never ever do any shop from that company again.

I stopped ordering from them. They used to be my go to website, but I think their customer service has gone down hill. I had always had great service, until this year.

Last March, I pre-ordered an item from OMC that was scheduled to be shipped out in May and was shipped in July. I was pretty upset with the delay and vowed to never order again from them but lo and behold, I found myself ordering again last September for several items that are scheduled to arrive October and one item to arrive September but up until now they still don't have my items even the one that was suppose to arrive last September. They didn't even email to inform me about the delay. And when I followed up, they said I could either wait, exchange orders with other items or just ask for a refund. So upsetting. I promise this will be last!

After 4, yes FOUR months, of waiting I canceled my order. The kicker was after 4 months, they couldn't give me ANY idea when my order would ship Worst company EVER!!!

I made and order of 3 small items on Sept 24th 2013, mind you it is now NOV 16th 2013, and my order is STILL Processing, when I contacted them they told me they do not even have those items I bought (that were advertised as ON SALE, so one would think they have them and are trying to move them out of inventory) and they do not know when or if they will get them in! Oh okay, that's cool, but they took my money... soooo I want my stuff. I dont care if they have to go to the store and buy what I ordered and send it to me. Their company is a total joke! NEVER again! And I will shout it out every chance I get, they are terrible. Pathetic.

I had ordered from OMC several times with no problems other than slow shipping. However, I placed an order on September 7 for the new Tim Holtz Distress Markers; I knew that there would be a slight delay on shipping. A few weeks later I received an email that the status was updated to shipping then a few days later I received an email saying that there was a problem and the order was on hold. I contacted them in October to see about the status and was told they hoped to ship soon. I contacted them again last week as to the status and was told they weren't sure when they would be shipped. I do have to give them credit that they have promptly responded to my inquiries.

During this entire time the item is still on their website with no indication that it is on "backorder" or is a "preorder".

This experience will definitely influence my decision to order from them in the future -- it will have to be an incredible price on something I can't find anywhere else.

Interesting, here I thought it took a long time because I lived in Canada and it sat at customs for awhile.

Really!.. They are using all of our money for something other than our products.

So my husband ordered me a Cutterpillar pro board v3 for mother's day and I have been waiting forever for it. The board was paid for in full the day it was ordered. My account went into processing in August but still never got my board. After emailing Oh My Crafts this week they told me they have sent my order over to Simple Products (The producers of the Cutterpillar boards.) and they could not tell me when it was shipping because they were not in charge over there. Wanting to know what is taking so incredibly long I emailed Simple Products. This is their reply (Very nice and timely done I would say. Got back to me in less than six hours.)

"I am so sorry you have had a hard time receiving your Cutterpillar. Let me see if I can help clarify a few things for you.

First let me say that we received the Cutterpillar’s in stock and have been shipping them out since September. We have not had any delays in shipping them out once we received them.

We do ship out the Cutterpillar’s for Oh My Crafts, however they are the ones that send us a list of the customers to ship out to. We do not have access to, or the information for all the customers that have ordered a Cutterpillar from them. They give us a list of customers to ship out Cutterpillar’s to and pay us for those cutters. I have checked and your order was not one of the one’s that was included on a list for us to ship to thus far.

We are currently running low on inventory, as we sold more quickly than anticipated so we are not shipping out further orders for Oh My Crafts at this time as they had an opportunity to reserve and pay for an allotted amount and failed to do so. We anticipate our next shipment in around the end of December which is approximately when we could start shipping them out again for Oh My Crafts (again they will supply us with a list of orders to ship to, and we can only ship out as many as they pay us for).

I hope that this has helped clear up some confusion, and I am sorry to hear that this experience has made you think less of our product. Unfortunately I cannot do anything for you other than advise you of the above, since you ordered your cutter through Oh My Crafts and not our company.

Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns. Thanks!"

I am impressed with the service from Simple Products but my understanding of this email tells me that Oh My Crafts never purchased my item. I am asking for my money back and wanted to pass along this bit of information so you could make that choice for yourself as well.
