Does anybody know where the best place is to go if you're looking for a specific rubber stamp, but don't know the name of the manufacturer? If you just have an image made by the stamp?

Thank you!

I usually start with a Google image search using the words rubber stamp and what ever describes the image. It's hit or miss. Depends on how old the stamp is.

Sometimes you can guess the brand based on the design.

Just had a thought.. can you post the stamped image here? Maybe we can help. Maybe over on the general stamping board too?

Agreed, post the image if you have one. We're pretty good with that kind of thing. There's a pretty wide stamping audience here so you'll get a nice cross section of people that might be able to help. THe ability to identify paper is pretty amazing.

Thanks, ladies!
I found out who the manufacturer is. It is Studio G. it is a clear stamp of an outline of a cardinal (bird), and it came with images of birdhouses. Michael's had it about a year ago. Would love to be able to find it but am not having luck on ebay, etsy, or Google.

How do you post an image here? I see a thing for "image" at the bottom but it asks for a URL. Is there any other way to do it?

Thanks for your help!

It is called "Home Tweet Home" by Studio G.
I think!

Here is another photo. It's part of the Birdcage series, second row, fourth from left. Would love to buy or trade for this!

Should I move this to the For Sale or Trade thread? If so, how do I move it?

You can start a new thread on the For Sale/Trade board. Start with ISO (in search of) and use the stamp brand and title. If you include a picture of the stamp, or provide a link to see it you will have much better luck.

Close this thread by posting something like I'm moving this thread to the For Sale/Trade board and try to edit the title to reflect that. That way Peas aren't still opening the thread now that you've closed it.

If you have an Android phone I'd try an app called Google Goggles. I don't know if there's an iPhone version. I've had mixed results with it, but it doesn't hurt to try it.
