I just signed up for Shimelle's classe Cover to Cover and I've received an email with my receipt of payment. How do I access the class? I don't see a classroom or anything like that on Shimelle's website.

I found this on her class FAQs:

What happens when I sign up for an online class?
Our online classes are held on a forum which serves two purposes: giving you permanent access to the class files and offering a place to chat and share your work with others. So to get started with an online class you will need a name on our forum so you can log in and get to work. If you have a login name already and include it in your order notes when you pay, you will have access to your new class within twenty-four hours. If you don’t have a login name, that’s fine too: you’ll receive an email with instructions for joining and you’ll be on your merry way in no time.

Shimelle has posted here before that she responds as quickly as she can, IIRC within 24 hours. Hope that helps!

Here is the link to the forum of classes. If this is your first class you will get an email with your login and password. Shimelle is all by herself so she processes everything by hand. It really doesn't take that long to get the info. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I'm a little disappointed. This is my first Shimelle class and I didn't know that I wouldn't have immediate access to the materials. I have the afternoon and evening to myself and thought I could dig in to the class. That's OK, though. I've got the layouts from a trip I took this last spring spread out on my table partially completed. I'll work on those and see how far I can get on completing them. I really should have planned on doing that first, anyway.

I'm very sorry you're disappointed: it does say in the details under the Cover to Cover payment buttons that registration may take up to twenty-four hours to process, and in the event that you don't receive something in that time to email me. (Sometimes the welcome emails go to spam or they can be blocked by the email provider before they reach your spam folder, so I would always prefer to hear from anyone so we can get that remedied!!)

But the good news is I am currently completely up to date with class registrations so you should have access to the class right now.

If there is anything else I can do to help, please don't hesitate to email me (shimelle at gmail dot com), as I'll be able to catch your message there much quicker than here on the message board.

I hope you enjoy Cover to Cover and that it helps you create a system just right for you albums.

Thank you, Shimelle! I didn't read the info very closely and having to wait 24 hours really was OK. I do have plenty of other things I could work on this afternoon and evening!
