I bought the flower set of Spellbinders Shapeabilities. Not impressed, at all. The stamps don't cover the die cut so there is a wide blank margin. In fact, they look like you stamped a flower and cut around it. Glad I used a 60% off coupon.

Anyone else tried them?

I bought them and haven't used them yet.

I don't have any shape abilities, but I own some SU and HeroArts stamp & die sets.
Neither of those cut right on the inked image edge either.
Both leave a border of white.

So I don't think it is directly related to shape abilities dies.

I have one set that cuts close to the stamped image, but it is at home and I can't remember the name. But it is not a "big box coupon brand" I paid full price for the stp and die separately

When I've seen stamped images colored with markers and cut out they almost always leave a little white border, so this is no different.

Is the border too wide?

I have a couple of sets of the Hero Arts stamps/dies, and those also leave a small white border, so I don't think it's unusual.
