Help! I can't decide between getting JetMax or Expedit shelving for all my albums and paper and stuff!

Do 12x12 albums fit in both of these? What about the cropper hopper paper holders? I've seen them in the JetMax cubes but not the Expedit.

So tell me what you have and why you like it please!

It depends on what you want. I think they are both good choices. Do you need drawers or do you need open cubes more my friend just went with the expedit and she said they are really easy to put together. You can get basket and stuff for those. The jetmax has more options. If you're getting the jetmax, wait until they are on sale for at least 50% off

I have two expedits. I love them. They were fairly inexpensive and look great in my dining room which doubles as my scraproom.

I like that the expedite is one unit rather than a bunch of small cubes sitting upon each other too

The new CH vertical storage fits in Expedit--look for the rounded top on the holders.

I LOVE my Expedit! It has been moved several times (upstairs, downstairs, into different houses) and still is doing great! I tried the cubes but did not like assembling each one nor the look for me of them all stacked together. I sold off the few I tried and never regretted the decision.
You can add doors and drawers to the Expedit now, but I love my wire locker baskets and paper trays.

I have both and love both. The expedit is great for holding albums, blank canvas and printers trays and magazines but I like the different configurations of the jetmax. I use the cubes for a desk base for my glass tabletop as well as the cubes and matching shelves to create a wall unit for paper/embellishment storage and to create stations for stamping/die cutting/computer station. It's also nice having the extra stations for desk space for my littles when they come crafting with me.

I have a small Expedit and about 9 JetMax cubes and I honestly love them both for very different reasons. My Expedit doubles as a base for a larger craft table that I have. It's a little higher than my other table, but I like it because I can stand at it and sometimes I just prefer to stand. I bought two sets of drawers for my Expedit which, for me, makes it more functional. I use one space in it for albums and the other for Mr. Huey misters, baby wipes, and such but that space isn't well utilized... yet.

For organizing, I much prefer my JetMax cubes. I love the drawers and the fact that everything is perfectly organized. However, the durability of these things is questionable. I agree that if you buy them, use a coupon or wait until they are at least 50% off.

Here's a link to my scrap room that shows my JetMax cubes and Expedit table base.

I have both and I love both. But if I HAD to just pick one, I'm probably in the minority when I'd pick my Jetmax cubes. I use my jetmax cubes to store all of my scrappy stuff. I use my Expedit to store my albums and items I don't use much.

I have both, to me they are completely different storage solutions and I need the flexibility that both different products give me.
You can see mine on my blog under static page "My Crafting Space".

I have both.

If I had to pick one, I would pick the Jetmaxx cubes. They do have pegs that pin one cube to the next. I have 16 cubes under my table (counter top height.). And the expedit along one wall. So the cubes don't take up any floor space. I keep things in there that I don't want to look at. 3D embellies, tools, ribbon, ink pads, etc.

I have a 4x4 drawer unit that I have photos in, a 3 drawer cube with adhesives, stapler, pencils, etc in, I have an open unit with a basket to toss things in that need to be put away... I love that it's all out of sight.

I keep jars of buttons, washi tape, albums, binders with my dies, etc in the expedit because thy look nice. I've moved both of them and think they have both held up well.

I have the Jetmax cubes, bought them before I knew about the Expedit. But I also can move the cubes by myself and that is what I need to be able to do.

Here are links for Expedits with added on home made doors and cubes too.

I love my Expedits. American Crafts 12x12 D ring albums fit great in the cubes.

I have both. I put the albums in the expedit. The jetmax I use for the smaller stuff like paints, small stamps, etc.

Thanks everyone! It sounds like I may eventually need both but what I mainly want first is storage for are my albums. I currently have wire racks and cropper hopper holders for papers and sterelite drawers for other goodies but nowhere for my albums except for a shelf in my closet.

Now I have another question to post!
