I ran into M's to get a 1" circle punch this week--promising myself I would only get ONE THING. I was on my way to a wedding, and I could not bring myself to get a lot, you know?
I was in line, and saw a sign for Scotch brand dot rollers for $4.79. But the thing was that there were about 8 ATG guns under and on the sign.
I picked up one, and asked the cashier about the price--they did NOT say $4.79. I said that he should probably get someone to fix that because they would lose some money.

At no point did I say I wanted it. However, he grabbed the sign and said 'You're a lucky girl' and started ringing it up. I was a little dumbfounded, and told him I was only getting one thing, so the punch went bye bye--and I got an ATG gun (the PINK one) for just over $5 with tax. LOL.

Any words of wisdom for a newbie to ATG (I have small hands), LOL,....

Wow! That is a great deal.

I bought one a few months ago and I love it. There is a reason it is so popular here. I have small hands and I have never had a problem using it. Just be sure you use it like this: squeeze the trigger, start rolling, RELEASE the trigger, and continue rolling to break off the tape. Took me a couple of tries to get used to it, but it really is easy to use.

Don't shop...Adopt.

I've had my ATG for almost 10 years now. I absolutely love it. The only advice I would give you is that when you are pulling the gun to apply the adhesive, you really should be pulling horizontally not vertically (hope this makes sense). The more horizontal you go, the easier/better it is. I only pull up slightly after I release the trigger. HTH.

I know I'm in the minority, but I rarely use mine... It's too big and unppredictable for the arthritis I have in my hand... since the hand doesn't work great, I use something I can get a better grasp of. But, great score for that price!

Great score, I guess it was your lucky day!
No real words of wisdom, just give it a little time to get used to it. I wasn't overwhelmed with mine at first but I love it now.

7 years to get here... So now what?

It took a little while for me to find the love for my ATG, but now I don't know what I'd do without it!

That's a wonderful deal, I would have put the punch back too! But if you have the 60% j's coupon you can go back and get the punch. The coupon expires today! Enjoy your ATG gun. I love mine.

I love my atg! I just got done making 21 accordian albums for Christmas presents for my coworkers. Nothing sticks like the atg tape. I was in M's last week to use my50% coupon and picked up some tape for it. It was priced at 9.99 and I got a couple of other things with it. I didn't look at my receipt till I got home. My atg tape rang up at 3 bucks!

Thank you ALL for your words of wisdom, I greatly appreciate it.
I went back today and got the punch, a small starter Xmas gift and a pack of white cardstock for printing out PL digi stuff.

Since I was so good yesterday, I figured I could reward myself.
