My teens turned me on to this wonderful free add-on program for your browser of choice. (I use Chrome) If you haven't heard of it, or don't have it, now is the time. It blocks all advertisements quietly, behind the scenes. No more Facebook ads. No more Youtube ads. GONE!! You will love it. You will thank me. It's called AdBlock. You will have to google for the version that matches your browser.

I have no affiliation with this little wonder. I just am a VERY happy user.
It's life changing.

We've used Adblock for years now (Firefox), and I adore it. I hear other people complaining about FB ads, and I'm always thinking - "What ads?"

That is awesome! I haven't seen that one. I have had a pop up blocker but this literally takes away ALL the ads in the sidebar and everything. This is fantastic!

I almost didn't open this thread but I'm so glad I did. You may want to update your thread title to something like "the best ad blocker ever" so other people can get ahold if this. It's really great!

Thanks so much!

I have had adblock for years. I LOVE IT

It is confusing when I am on other people's computers and they have ads. I just want to install adblock for them.

I've been using adblock for firefox for years, and got it from chrome when I started using it. IE has a similar program available but it's not free after you block so many ads.

A few things I've noticed: sometimes adblock will make affiliate links not work-I have a link for lettering delights on my blog and if someone clicks it with adblock on, I don't get credit for the sale. Adblock makes those rafflecopter things not work properly for me. Sometimes sites have a weird type of log in that doesn't work unless I disable adblock for that site or page.
