Any special treats on your Thanksgiving menu?

I'm looking for ideas. We are "testing" cheese and yogurt so we can include a little of that - woohoo!

We have been eating the most delicious prezel snacks by Glutinos. Everyone loves them. Have you checked them out? They seem to have some awesome products!

I picked up some gf bread crumbs for stuffing. I'm also going to make gluten free pie crust for pumpkin pie, and maybe gf pumpkin muffins with cream cheese frosting.

I'm going to try the Udi's for stuffing. I hope that will work. No one here like pie crust so I'm trying to figure out how to make pecan pie and pumpkin pie w/o the crust.

I'm actually looking forward to it, because I can eat
everything I like but the rolls and the pie crust

I did buy a GF pie crust mix--maybe I will use that when
I make the pumpkin pie.

Kitten, what about trying a crushed cookie crust?
Annie's has some decent flavor cookies, or maybe
the Schar shortbread cookies?
And then cut into squares instead.

I hate stuffing, and just skip the dinner rolls. I have a green bean casserole that can easily be turned GF, so I am excited about that. I am going to attempt to make GF pie crusts this year. If they don't turn out...I will just go and get some premade ones from our local Good Food Store. I do make an amazing GF pumpkin spice cake with honey cream cheese frosting...but I make that ALL season long.

I'm making a flour less chocolate torte and taking a loaf of bread I will make in my bread maker for sandwiches the next day.

Don't forget to check your turkey to make sure it doesn't have broth injected into it. Not all turkeys are gluten free believe it or not.

We make cornbread dressing using GF cornbread (think it is Gluten Free Pantry--I get it in bulk from Amazon) and have GF bread rolls using the olive oil bread recipe from 'Healthy Bread in 5 minutes a day'. The gravy just uses cornstarch or potato flour and then standard pies with GF crusts (have to dig through cookbooks to find a recipe cause I can't remember what I used last year). The Pamela's baking mix makes great coffee cake and pumpkin bread (recipes on the back of the big bag) so I may have those for breakfast if company stays over. (Should add that our house has been gluten free for over 6 years now and I bake a lot so that's why I'm baking so much. For anyone that is new to GF, it took me awhile to get completely comfortable baking GF.)

Our Thanksgiving was last month but I made a yummy cheesecake for desert using gf graham crackers. It turned out sooooo good.

Mostly it's just a silly message board. Except when it isn't.

Udi's bread for stuffing worked great. Last year we did two turkeys and two stuffings, one gluten free and one not. Nobody could tell the difference.

Could you sub gluten-free flour for the all-purpose in this recipe with no crust? Impossible Pumpkin Pie

Would you please post the recipes for the GF green bean casserole and the GF pumpkin spice cake with honey cream cheese. The cake sounds wonderful!
