ETA: And, if you read the article, did you see the mention of the petition that "asks that the president sign an executive order to strip U.S. citizenship from anyone who signed a petition to secede and requests that they are "peacefully deported."  |

It seriously reminds me of when my kids would threaten to run away from home when things in the house didn't go their way.
Then, when I'd pack their bag and show them to the front door and they took a glimpse at the big, empty, dark street before them, suddenly they'd have a change of heart that, maybe, their lives just weren't that bad after all.

Other than it irking me, I completely agree. I just do a lot of this when I read about it -
IMO, there are a couple of those states that I would have no problem selling off to the highest bidder just to help with the national debt, but that's just me.  |

One of the rights that we have in the United States is that of free travel. My advice to those who want to secede....move to another country. It's your right. Go find a place that you think will treat you better. Oh, and take your bad attitude with you. Those of us who want to stay will be busy PROMOTING this great country of ours. It would be even greater if people used all of that energy that they waste trying to tear our country apart and used it toward building it up.

As a southerner I find that picture *very* offensive. I didn't sign the petition bc 4 years isn't that long and will come fast enough(thank you Jesus!). But to imply anyone that did looks like that is rude. (As a kid my fav show was Full House and to this day I can't say *Rude* without thinking of that show! ) |
