I bought one last year because I was just getting into their stuff and didn't have a lot. I think it was about $30 or $40 and it was a good amount of stuff. I was happy with what I received.

Now, ask me how much I've used in a year...barely any!

Week 3? How many weeks do they do this for? I was under the impression that it was just one box, with only one option

5 weeks with different items in each. Not sure about that, but the shipping in states is $10.

I bought two last year - maybe weeks three and five? I think they were $50 including the shipping. There was some overlap between the two (I think I got two of the same packages of buttons, one or two of the same sheets of stickers/labels, and a few of the same sheets of paper) which I wasn't thrilled by, but I'm still planning on buying at least one this year, maybe two!

Oops, I didn't properly answer all of your questions! As I recall, I got a really nice mix of their products and lines in each box. 12 x 12 paper, an 8 x 8 pad of last year's Christmas line in one of the boxes, buttons, journaling cards, chipboard, lots of stickers.

They do not tell you what's in the box when you order, but it's OA...so it's good stuff! I ordered 3 of them last year. It was addictive!

I got one in 2010 and I got a good mix of papers, stickers, embellishments and a chipboard album that I am using for my DD this year.
I didn't order last year, but I think I might get one this year. I wish I knew which week to order was the best.

Santa Sacks will go on sale November 19th and continue through December 17th. We don't tell you what's in each box because Santa doesn't tell you if you're getting a diamond necklace or a crockpot, does he?

Each week the box is different and we're taking steps this year to ensure there is no overlap of product. Each box contains more than $100 (retail) worth of products, from paper to embellishments and more. This year's box will once again be priced below $50, not including shipping.

ALSO, for each box (or boxes) you order, you are entered into a drawing at the end of the sale for the Ultimate Santa Sack, which contains more than $200 (retail) in merchandise! The more Santa Sacks you buy, the more entries you receive!

Supplies go fast so it's best to order early - and the boxes ship the week you order them! Price point and other ordering information will be available on the October Afternoon blog at www.octoberafternoon.com and the OA Facebook page sometime Monday, Nov. 19th.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to email me at jon.f@octoberafternoon.com or message me via the OA Facebook page. I'll be happy to help in any way I can!

I am going to order one, but my greatest fear is getting a bunch of rub-ons. I HATE rub-ons and one piece of feedback last year was that one week was almost purely rub-ons (their perception) and that would be like a sack of coal and I've been a pretty good girl this year.

That would probably be a replay of the year Santa got me a George Foreman grill. When I opened it hubby says to me "now you can cook me all kinds of good meals". That did not end well!

I ordered three last year and if you love OA it is a good deal. When they say it is more than $100 in product they are correct. And when each one goes on sale they post a sneak photo on the blog. It is definitely a teaser but might give you an idea if you wanted to try pick to order or not.

Shih Tzu Mommy, I know which week you're talking about, and while there was a huge bundle of rub-on sheets in that Santa Sack, there was no lack of other product; you still got lots of 12x12 papers, 12x12 alpha stickers, word/label stickers, embellishments, etc.

I'm not too crazy about rub-ons either, but I did wind up getting some good use out of some of them (I still have plenty), and they worked well for me. I was shocked by the sheer amount of sheets that were included in that sack (almost seemed like a bonus that week, not detracting from the other categories of product), so I can see how that would be the one thing that stuck out in someone's memory from that week.

I don't have much oa product. If I get one of the sacks, do you think there will be enough coordinating product to use together?

I have not ordered the Santa sack yet, but I did order the warehouse sale last summer. I got a generous supply of paper....at least 50 sheets and other items...stickers alphas etc..

I like there product and have been able to mix and match with other collections to scrapbook. I love their colors and I was able to use alot in my Fall album, as well as other lines.

So I do not know if that answered your question, but I find their items coordinated well with other lines...I am more of if it goes together then why not scrapbooker...so I mix things all the time.

I'm OA obsessed!
I have so much OA is not funny.
What I love about
OA is that it has so many basic prints that you can easily mix and match with anything.
But OA matches a lot between it's collections:
All the christmas collections match with each other perfectly.
The thrift shop matches with a lot of the old ones and so does 5 & dime.
A lot of paper from Sasparrilla matches 9 to 5 and witch Hazel.
Rocket age is the hardest one but I have some 9 to 5 that could work and so does 5 & dime.
Some Sidewalks can match with a lot others. But I have mixed sidewalks with 5 and dime and some cakewalk.
All the school ones match with each other.
I also have some detours mix with hometown cuz I could not tell them apart.
I do not have enough road map and boarding pass but the little I have matches.
Some woodland park can match midway and cake walk.
I have mix woodland and side walks

I hope this helps!

This is probably a dumb question....but if I went to the warehouse sale will the Sacks contain much of what they were selling then? Is it the leftovers?

StayingFocused, looking at the Santa Sacks videos on YouTube from last year, it looks like it probably is much of the same stuff. I don't think there are any of the newest lines included.

Some of the ladies that went to the warehouse sale said that some things were pulled from the warehouse sale for the sacks.
Jon F. Said they are trying very hard not to have any repeats.
If you see in the past sacks they also added more current stuff. I don't doubt they are going to add a lot more this time since this year they doubled the amount of lines released.

I have a lot of OA but I'm still taking a chance. I also wouldn't mind paper repeats. I use it so much!

Thanks. Obviously I didn't buy one of everyting because they had a lot but there were a few things I wish I had bought and a few things I really didn't want. I mostly went for the older stuff. Too bad we can't give Santa our wish list I will be content for now and maybe purpose to go to the sale again next year. It isnt near me but I love a road trip.

i bought the third santa sack last year and it did include some newer product from the latest releases at that time. I was really happy with my package

But if I remember correctly, they showed peeks before each sack went on sale. The first two peeks didn't really catch my eye since I already own so much OA. But that last sack with the newer product definitely convinced me to buy.
So hoping they are doing peeks again this year

I've never bought a SS before because I buy their lines. But, OMG, after seeing that video and ALL that's in there, I think I'm going down for 1, if not 2!!!

Don't let me run over you on my way to the register tomorrow.

And sadness, I can't stay online long enough to order now.

How fast do they sell out? will I be able to order tonight?
